Played my first game of Blades in the Dark today and delighted by the fact that my whisper's class-unique contributions to the heist were, during prep and later during the escape: failing her attune rolls and attracting some extremely angry ghosts on herself/the party, and then crit succeeding her compel attempts to tell the ghosts to stop trying to eat her in such a scoldworthy tone that the ghosts were stunned into acting like people for a second.

Her first ghost was also murdered on the orders of the Lord of the House we were robbing, which made him a great throwable as a distraction during the main event. But since he was such a cute angry ghost she also made sure to put aquarium decorations in his spirit bottle so he could have something nice to look at while he was in there. So part of the eventual crime scene evidence is some colored sand a tiny model castle amidst all the wreckage.
