monty, what would you say is your all time favorite anime/manga? one that tops all others?

Ever since the cancellation (and the second cancellation, thx max 🙃) I've found comfort in going back to fics that started it all for me - the OG fics that remind me of a happier time when the fandom was buzzing with activity, when it was all about meta and discussions and the love of the characters - and the first author I go back to to relive that is Darcy, without fail. I don't think you can read their work and be unaffected by it. Every single person I know has a favourite fic by them. Beyond lovely, lyrical prose, and brilliant plot - Darcy just gets them ✨ Read on to know a bit more about their writing process:

What's your writing process like? Do you start with the beginning or the end? Do you write in order or as the scenes come to you? 

Depends a little bit on how I came to the idea - was it an idea born from having a scene leap into my mind and now I’m just building the rest of the fic around it, or do I have a prompt, or do I have a goal I need to meet? So I start with whatever’s driving me to write the thing and I write the elevator pitch which is usually about 50 words of “what is this about.” Then I write a 500 word outline. Then I write a 1000 word outline. Then I start from the beginning and fill in to the end. I don’t usually write out of order, but I will if something really takes hold. 

Favourite trope or headcanon you like to explore while writing? 

Hurt/Comfort as a general trope. I like to write about finding the people who see you for who you are, the insecurity of disbelieving people could really love you, and the realization that it’s true, it’s really true: they do love you, not just as much as they say but so so so much more than they could put into words.

Whose voice is easier to write - Ed or Stede? Why? 

I think Ed is easier to write because his mind is very like mine (it’s definitely the untreated ADHD), but Stede is very fun to write because I think his sense of humor is quite like mine (it’s definitely the pretentious bitch /affectionate). They’re both so fantastically complex, I love being in both their heads. 

Your personal favourite thing you've written that you'd like more people to read 

Oh man this is a hard question. I will say I’m especially proud of “Bedtime Stories” which was a bit of an experiment and I’m so happy with how it turned out (@lindie-kninjaknitter did a great podfic too!) - and “Tenderly the Light” which I literally cried trying to write because I wanted it to work so bad and I trusted it so little, but with some distance I think it turned out really nice.

What is the one word that you think you use a lot? 

Not a word necessarily, but I like to write emotions as being felt in the inside of the elbows. I come back to that description a lot. 

Do you have a beta reader? Have they made you a better writer? 

I have a betaing cheerleader in @mintly who keeps me sane on the day to day. She reads about 75% of what I post in advance - the other 25% I’m just winging it really. Yeah, she’s absolutely made me a better writer, not just by helping me hone the story but by helping me trust myself too. 

Why OFMD 🥹

Gosh okay, the big question. For me OFMD is about - we spend a lot of our lives being put into little boxes ‘cause it’s tidy. It’s easy. And for a lot of our lives, we stick to our boxes because it’s easy for us too. We let it happen because there are expectations and we have responsibilities and obligations and these boxes keep us pinned in place, and it’s so easy to just stay where we’re put. 

But OFMD is about opening the lid to the box. It’s about seeing the light. It’s about how it’s never too late to open that lid. It’s about how if you just trust yourself enough and you trust the people around you, you can reach for a hand to lift you up and you can find one in the dark to help pull you out. You can find people, and you can find joy, and you can get out of that box and there’s so much room out there. And I know it’s hard. It’s so fucking hard. It’s okay if it’s hard. OFMD is about how it’s hard and scary and you will definitely fuck up and you will definitely have some scary moments wondering if you’re going to lose your balance and fall back in, but just hang on a little longer. Let that trust in yourself grow a little stronger. It’s better to stand unsteadily than to let yourself be made small again. 

And yeah, there will always be someone who wants to put you back in the box because it was easier for them, but you find your people and your joy and you hang on fucking tight and that’s stronger than easy. Our joy and our song and our communities and our hope will always be stronger than their commitment to easy.

Really good anime translation: コタローは一人暮らし

I complained in a post a while ago about how I mostly think english translations of anime aren’t very good, and @japanwords asked me if there were any anime I know of that have good translations. I don’t actually watch that much anime so I didn’t have a good answer, but recently I found one that really fit the bill: 『コタローは一人暮らし』or “Kotaro lives alone”

For those who haven’t seen it, it’s a show about a 5 year old kid who lives alone without any parents or guardians, and makes friends with his neighbours in the apartment complex (a lazy manga artist, a woman who’s a hostess at a local nightclub, and a scary yakuza who finds Kotaro unbelievably cute). These friends end up helping Kotaro when he needs someone to act as a guardian, such as when he enrols at the local kindergarten.

The other thing you have to know about Kotaro is he speaks like a Japanese feudal lord.

This really is the crux of what makes the translation so good, because how the hell do you translate that?! The way they chose to do it is by using archaic english phrases. He kinda speaks like a Victorian era gentleman, and he sometimes even verges on sounding like a stereotypical medieval knight. This works perfectly, because Kotaro is actually imitating a character from his favourite cartoon: a samurai hero/feudal lord. Let’s look at some examples:

「放すである」 "Unhand me!"

A simple example to start with, I thought it might be interesting to compare how a 5 year old might actually say this, and how I would translate that:

「放してー！😭"」 "Let goooo! 😭"

Even though the japanese uses the same verb (放す), the english translation is completely different. The choice here to make it “unhand me” (much more evocative of a time period) instead of just “let go of me” (simply a longer way of saying it) is a perfect example of the care this anime puts into its translation.

狩野：「美月さん、アイス食べます？…… あれ？」 “Hey, Mizuki. Would you like an ice cream cone? …… Hello?” 美月：「アイスをもらうけど私、狩野くん誘ってないんだよなぁ」 “While I appreciate the ice cream, you know you weren’t actually invited, Karino.” コタロー：「お邪魔である」 “Interloper.”

邪魔 is a notoriously difficult word to translate, and the natural-sounding corresponding english phrase will vary quite wildly depending on the situation. In non-feudal lord speech, it usually gets translated to something like “you’re getting in my way” or “get out of here” or even “you’re a burden” (my least favourite).

Here, it’s creatively translated as “interloper”! A great way of sneaking in some archaic english while deftly handling a classically difficult-to-translate word.

コタロー：「わらわは写真が大の苦手なのだ」 “I am ill-disposed to having my picture taken!”

Here we have a slightly longer sentence which shows us a bit more of Kotaro’s unusual speech pattern. He uses the archaic first-person pronoun わらわ（妾）and often ends his sentences in なのだ. なのだ is not a particularly odd grammar structure to use, but it is unusual to use it unabbreviated (i.e. not shortening it to なんだ and/or adding よ to the end) especially when using it in speech rather than in writing. Not abbreviating it (as would be expected in a formal situation), but immediately contrasting that formality with the informal だ rather than です causes the speech to sound archaic without actually using any archaic vocabulary.

Now, if this show only translated the old-timey speech pattern well, I’d still call it a good translation. But the attention to detail and focus on natural sounding language extends to the other characters too!

Let’s take a look at an example of Karino’s speech. This is from ep 3; we already know a fair bit about who he is - a manga artist who doesn’t leave the house much (mostly works from home), usually wears comfortable clothes around, leaves things til the last minute and is generally a pretty lazy guy. I say this because the following translation doesn’t “work” (that is, the english and japanese wouldn’t mean the same thing) if it was spoken by a different kind of character.

phone rings 狩野：「担当さんかー」 “Oh great, it’s my editor” 狩野：「お疲れ様です、狩野です。… はい … 今日原稿を？はい、わかりました。じゃあ、後で」 “Hello, this is Karino. How may I help you? … Yes … Wait. Now, now? … Uh-huh, yes. Okay, thank you, I’ll be there soon.” コタロー：「どこか行くのか？」 “Do you need to go somewhere?” 狩野：「仕事。出版社に行く。今回もダメ出しされんのかな？」 “Yeah, I gotta go to work. There goes my day. … I’m sure he’ll just rip it apart like he always does.” 狩野：「あの人結構グサグサ刺さる事言うんだよなぁ」 “The way he criticises, it’s actually pretty hurtful.”

I really like this translation, it feels very clever and results in very natural sounding english. I said this wouldn’t work for a different character, but I think even for the same character, this translation wouldn’t work on ep 1 - the audience wouldn’t have the context for the translation to omit the specific words it does and get away with it.

For example, the line 「今日原稿を？」 directly refers to a manga draft, but the draft isn’t directly referred to in the english. But it ends up being ok, because we can infer that he’s handing in some sort of draft for review from a later line (”I’m sure he’ll just rip it apart…”). Also, 「出版社に行く」 directly states that he’s going to the publishing house, but the english simply refers to it as “work”. But we can infer this too - he’s going to see his editor, and since most of his work is drawing and writing, which he does at home, we know that when he says he’s “going to work”, he’s actually going to the publishing offices.

Prioritising the natural sound of the script over the specific details is a bold choice that really pays off, imo. This is some of the most natural english I’ve ever seen in an anime translation. I recommend checking it out if you’re interested!

Realistic Trey Clover + Headcanons

This happens a lot with my headcanons but after analysing Trey he went from one of my least favourites to one of my favourites in no time – hope you like him as much as I do!

Sidenote: When headcanoning Trey and all my other characters I take both factual and some of my personal thoughts/beliefs of the character to construct my headcanons.

For my rendition of Trey Clover, I kept him relatively close to his in-game design and didn't give him any visible flaws (ance, moles, etc.) since Trey’s diet seems pretty balanced, he knows eating too many sweets can give you cavities. It would also help with his skin’s condition, it wouldn't be smooth or perfect but wouldn't have many visible red breakouts, but isn't immune to a few pimples here and there.

You may also notice I gave him stubble on his chin because Trey in game looks very mature, plus it is extremely common for his age period to start developing body hair (face, body, etc.) and Trey probably got this.

For his realistic rendition, I went with a rectangular face shape that is fairly chiselled (Trey is on that mewing streak 🤫🧏‍♀️), almond eyes with THICK eyebrows and the cherry on top being his very broad and straight nose. In conclusion, I made him a chad. (tee hee yummy)

For his body MY MAN IS BUILT, so a rectangular fairly muscular build (thick fucking arms bro is kneeding that bread) 

And yet another pom 😞 but it's all done for a reason! The rose kingdom is based on the UK so I just gave everyone from there an accent and depending on personal thoughts depends on how strong I make it and yes, Trey has a strong accent – he doesn't really use slang though, idk he's a bit too mature for that.

Personality and backstory headcanons + a bit of character analysis:

Ah yes, the “dad” of Heartslabyul and I don't disagree with this basic statement but sometimes he is dumbed down to just that, a “dad”. Yes, young adults such as himself can have a stronger connection to his morals, but he’s still only 18, and most importantly human. Not everything he will do will be correct, and even if they are good in theory, they may still have negative consequences.

For example, just before Riddles overblot, Ace even blatantly asked him why he hasn't corrected Riddle behaviour because he thought that just staying by his side, comforting him and being his friend was enough but quickly learnt it wasn't. Trey has always been the oldest, with his friends, with his siblings and he had always had that sense of responsibility over the younger generations (also seen with first and second years in-game), however, other than that, his character isn’t heavily touched on besides just being the “dad” or “big brother”.

Trey probably has moments where he questions himself, if he's the best person for others to rely on. What I'm trying to say is that neither his mind nor body is fully developed and even people like him who seem so strong have their weak moments.

Trey genuinely cares a lot for his loved ones, both friends and family, and usually takes on a mediator role to solve issues and help others. Though, he’s a little bit of a people pleaser and when something is out of his depth and he doesn’t immediately see the ‘right’ way to do something, he tends to try and avoid the root cause of the issue and instead finds an easier solution, which may not have the best turnout in the end. 

For example, Trey’s feelings around Riddle’s overblot and childhood trauma affecting his present-day behaviour. I believe that Trey felt horrible after Riddles overblot, seen when he said he's sorry to Riddle despite being Riddles own fault. When Trey can’t fulfil that “dad” role or sees he's been doing something wrong for a long time he doesn't know what to do.

He doesn’t do this out of a lack of care, but because of how much he cares instead. He is also often seen pandering to other’s wants just to please them and make sure they are happy. Also as mentioned before, he is still young, he still may not know the best thing to do, but these actions he takes he sees as a sort of in-the-moment solution.

Trey appreciates deep conversation and knows what to say in them, he's good at comforting and will observe all the people he cares about so he knows exactly how to comfort that specific person.

Trey is always looking out for his friends, whether that be making sure they are keeping up with the school's work and getting decent grades, or making sure they aren't getting into too much rough housing with others. If this does happen however, Trey would definitely go out of his way to tutor lower classmen to the best of his ability or have a ‘talk’ if he has to with people picking on his friends.

'He just wants you to know that he’s with you every step of the way.' ;

Imagine waking up with Trystan on a day off. It’s been a minute since you’ve gotten the time just to sit back and unwind, so as soon as you’re presented with one, Trystan takes it as an opportunity to spoil you, and it all begins by turning off your alarm when he knows you’ve forgotten to do so yourself.

But with how busy you’ve been for the past couple of months or so, your body clock forced you to wake up hours before your usual time. 

That doesn’t deter him though, because as soon as he feels you stretch, no matter how hard you try to avoid waking him up, he’ll instinctively wrap his arms around you, nuzzling the back of your neck with a deep, groggy “morning”. It’s not hard to convince you to stay, especially when you’ve got your furnace for a partner to keep you warm in between the cold sheets; the best of both worlds. 

The muted blue sky, too, only persuaded you to stay in bed—no longer nighttime but not exactly morning just yet. 

Like any other morning, it’s not the most silent, with the occasional honks and beeps of the road—where the world was beneath you. It's just you and him now. He knows that you know you’re strong, almost too dedicated to your job but so much more empathetic than any front liners out there.

He’ll tell you if he knows you need a little boost, but the sharing of smiles and lazy kisses speaks louder than words. 

As soon as he notices you spacing out, possibly thinking about recent cases that may have hit you harder than usual, you’ll feel his lips—kissing the crown of your head, on your temple, your jaw, anywhere; slow and deliberate. His cold fingertips brushing your skin with feather touches, just to hear your sweet giggles or even a huff of amusement.

Anything to keep you grounded, and anything to reassure himself. Not a single sign of him rushing you to come to terms with whatever was bothering you.

He just wants you to know that he’s with you every step of the way. 

And he’ll do much more; bringing your hand up to his lips. With the help of the lights of the bustling town, he makes sure to hold your gaze as he plants even more kisses; starting with the inside of your palm, to your fingers, then to the back of your hand before trailing his lips up your arm the way Gomez would show his affection to the love of his life, Morticia. 

He loves it when you lightly run your nails over his shoulders, a sign that you, too, were with him, in more ways than one. It sends shivers down his spine the same way a breeze would on a chilly day. 

The two of you would just stay in each other’s arms for hours, just until you could see the first rays of sunlight, and even then, you'd have to convince him. The second the rays hit your eyes, he'll pull you to his chest, closer than you already are, as if protecting you from the first sign of reality. 

But as mentioned, if you’re planning to get out of bed real soon, you’ll have to fight for it.

“What’s the rush?” Trystan mumbled against your skin, planting a kiss on your shoulder for the umpteenth time.

“Are you going to be like this the entire day?” You asked with a chuckle.

"Depends," He hummed, pretending to think for a moment, "Was that an offer?"

And before slipping out of his hold, he whispers an “I love you” in your ear before letting you go. 

Breakfast is another story. Just before he enters the shower after you did, he’ll jokingly tell you not to lift a finger in the kitchen because he’ll do the cooking, though you can tell that he’s also serious about it. 

So, that’s what you did—not make breakfast, but he didn’t say you couldn’t do just a bit of work while waiting for him, and boy, was the look on his face comical.

“What did I tell you?” He grumbled, the slight pout telling you that he was more so disappointed than anywhere close to being angry.

“You didn’t say anything about a quick homework,” You countered playfully as you glanced up at him. You craned your neck, prompting him to lean in to accept your reassuring peck on his lips, “I won’t take long. Just for today.”

I promise.

He’ll huff but says nothing more as he immediately does his thing. Some good ol’ pancakes with an array of toppings. Though simple (and very Americanized compared to the ones in Drakovia), it eventually grew to be his comfort food since his exile, if he's the one who made it, that is. 

A reminder that picking himself back up would start somewhere small, and now he gets to share that same comfort with you. 

It didn’t help that your seat was facing the stove, so your quick glances at him became subconscious stares. Stares that Trystan thrived on, especially after locking eyes with your embarrassed ones with a knowing look.

“Your breakfast, beautiful.” He placed a stack of pancakes and an empty plate for you before laying out the toppings on a charcuterie board—maple syrup, fancy butter, fresh fruits, your favourite proteins and even went as far as whipping his own cream rather than the canned one sitting pretty in his fridge. 

Of course, you took the opportunity to stare at his muscles for a bit as he whipped the crème Chantilly by hand. 

“Thank you.” You made sure to really show your appreciation by looking up at him, a grateful smile gracing your lips. It pleases him, but not enough, not when you’re still reading the file. 

He won’t go so far as taking it out of your hands, but what he’ll do is sit close to you, plating your favourite combo before cutting a piece of it.

“Open up,” He said, holding the forkful of pancake to your lips, chuckling under his breath when you looked at him in mild surprise. As if you weren’t used to the fact that he was a passionate partner, no matter how long you’ve been together. You couldn’t help but share the same amusement as well, bashfully opening your mouth for the food he had thoughtfully made.

One forkful became two, and two became more, before you eventually closed the file, plating your own with Trystan's favourites before feeding him too.

Hi! I hope you are doing well! I decided to spend my evening like Crowley, asking an important question from fellow GO writers! What's your current favourite story you yourself have written? Tell me why you like it!

Not gonna lie, I saw this and went "MIRJAM WHY ARE YOU SENDING ME ASKS!? you can just dm me on discord you fool" but then I saw what the ask was and got all excited. Thanks darling, this is delightful.

Aziraphale Fell had a plan. Go to school, get his degree, and start his life with his beloved at his side as man and wife. Until one day Crowley disappears. Decades later he meets a man, and finds the love of his life again. Anthony J. Crowley, suave, cool, masculine, in control, unflappable, has spent decades building himself up. He refuses to let his confident facade disappear for Aziraphale, who once almost tumbled down the stairs to certain death because his nose was stuck in a book. It’s just sex, and they’ve been dating for months, this time around. There’s no need to get his knickers in a knot. But the past isn’t easy to let go of, even if you’re both avoiding it. A story about love, intimacy, and finding each other again. (Alternatively: Tender smut, but then I wrote love story flashbacks, and now it's just emotional and there's plot in my pornography)

So why?

First, context: this was written for Fandom Trumps Hate 2023 for Andromeda4004. We went back and forth and I almost went "no wait no, I'm not trans I can't write a transman Crowley. oh no. I'm not good enough to pull this off" and then I got bit by a bunny and couldn't not write it.

It's my favorite, and I think it's going to be my favorite for a while because it's the best writing I think I've done to date. It's incredibly emotional and tender. And sitting with this Crowley has been good for me as a person. He's got a few more stories about him he's trying to pull out of me, so actually if you've already read this fic, go click the link and subscribe to the series I dumped it into in case I cave and do write some of the slice of life shit he's calling for. But... in making sure I wrote something that was respectful and joyful for the people who can immediately see themselves in Crowley (as a transman), I not only did a lot of research, and listening, and fretting at my amazing sensitivity reader because oh god writing with no pronouns at all is SO HARD (yeah, YEAH, go reread those flashback scenes folks.), but I also did a lot of soul searching.

Am I trans? No. Nonbinary? Don't think so. Cis? Eh. Probably?

This is something I sort of felt before writing this fic but now, hanging out with this version of this character and trying to do right by him, I'm a bit more comfortable in my Gender Fuckery (or lack thereof depending on the day). And I think that personally I keep rereading this fic not only because this Crowley is seriously not done living in my head shouting ideas at me, but because it's got the soft tender romance that I absolutely live for, and a Crowley who knows who he is, and is comfortable with himself, and is excited for you to get there too. And I appreciate him for holding my hand and letting me tell his story. Also fucking Aziraphale in this fic is a PUMPKIN. ABSOLUTE PUMPKIN. We don't get to live inside his head as much as we do with Crowley, but let me tell you. He's ultimate supportive partner. He is rub your feet unasked for after a long day cause it brings him joy. He knows your favorite color down to the exact shade. He is bought you VIP tickets to your favorite band he doesn't really like, but he likes how you sing their songs in the shower. PUMPKIN.

Lucy was looking sweetly pretty in her white lawn frock; she has got a beautiful colour since she has been here. I noticed that the old men did not lose any time in coming up and sitting near her when we sat down. She is so sweet with old people; I think they all fell in love with her on the spot. Even my old man succumbed and did not contradict her, but gave me double share instead.

Everyone loves Lucy! ...as they should, she is such a sweetheart. I was struck again by her voice today, it's such great casting. I also love to see Mina's concern for her, when talking about her color. She's obviously glad that she's not so pale anymore.

But I seemingly never get to just enjoy a Lucy entry without feeling sad for her in some way, and here's today's:

"Sacred to the memory of George Canon, who died, in the hope of a glorious resurrection, on July, 29, 1873, falling from the rocks at Kettleness. This tomb was erected by his sorrowing mother to her dearly beloved son. 'He was the only son of his mother, and she was a widow.' Really, Mr. Swales, I don't see anything very funny in that!" She spoke her comment very gravely and somewhat severely.

Reading this line knowing what comes later, it feels like some really horrible foreshadowing. There's certainly no perfect direct parallel, but there's plenty of resonant elements here: the only child of a widowed mother, the lies about cause of death. Mr. Swales' response about one of the son ensuring the mother didn't get to inherit her money is a kind of reversal of what happens with Mrs. Westenra's will. Even the 'hope of a glorious resurrection' makes me think of the language used around killing vampire!Lucy. Of course, there's no open hatred in the Westenras' relationship (maybe hidden resentment, but definitely still love), but this whole bit feels awful.

Lucy obviously is upset by it too ("very gravely and somewhat severely" is definitely an atypical way for her to speak), though I think the part that resonates with her most is just the mother left alone in the world. It makes me wonder if she's feeling worried about her mother in the future. I can easily imagine Lucy being eager to get out from under her mother's wing/thumb and live her own life once she gets married... but feeling worried about her mother left alone afterwards, and guilty for not wanting to take her too. Depending on how aware she is of Mrs. Westenra's poor health those worries may be even worse, and even without that element her mother's nervous disposition may well lead her to fear she won't do well alone.

"Oh, why did you tell us of this? It is my favourite seat, and I cannot leave it; and now I find I must go on sitting over the grave of a suicide."

That bolded part also feels like awful foreshadowing. Lucy doesn't mean anything more here than that she loves this spot and isn't willing to move somewhere else even if the idea of it being over a suicide's grave freaks her out. But the wording just makes me think about how little ability to escape her fate she has. How she truly cannot leave her spot over the grave of a suicide (a doomed soul). Her death and the unrest that follows seems inevitable.

The way she talks to Mina of Arthur while holding hands is really sweet. But coming after this conversation (after she ended the conversation because it was upsetting her), I can't help but feel like a little part of it is Lucy trying very deliberately to focus on what she is looking forward to, to try her best not to dwell on anything upsetting. And maybe a bit of seeking/giving comfort at the same time with the hand-holding, all unspoken.

Unfortunately, it backfires. Mina's final entry today is so sad, and all the talk about Lucy's future with Arthur made it even worse to come back to no letter. I love the way she starts out talking about her fear for Jonathan, then tries to divert herself into more factual descriptions of the scenery. But it doesn't work, because the two bands who are separated and can't see or hear one another just inevitably makes her think of her own separation from Jonathan again, and she's just miserable.

my name is rin, I normally use she or they because that’s mostly what I present as but I do use he/him as well sometimes. sexuality is very fluid as well, but I would like a male match-up for this!

I’m 5’3-5’4, with shortish black hair, almost touching my shoulders that’s mostly black and partially dyed red. i have brown eyes and a few piercings (several on each ear, septum, and tongue). I also have a few tattoos (behind my ear, hips and thighs).

my style itself is kinda all over the place, I thrift a lot and love either the darker, more goth/alt kind of style or a dark academia look. I wear a lot of rings either way, and obviously earrings, I love wearing jewelry and sometimes make my own as well.

as for my personality, I’m more introverted. an observer rather than a doer. i tend to stay more detached from people but once i do get comfortable with a person i’m hard to shake off. i’m very sarcastic and have a very dark and somewhat dry kind of humour that’s appealing to a very small margin of people. one of my slightly (?) negative traits is that I’m very controlling, not too much in a toxic way but more in a control freak kind of way. I don’t like to take the backseat to things and while I do let others take a lead I am always there making sure things are going the way they should be. i get paranoid a lot of the time that things will go off the rails and feel like I need to hold everything together. maybe because of that i'm the advice friend despite the fact that i’m not very rational and am sometimes the one to suggest doing things we probably shouldn’t but my advice seems to always go over well somehow. 

I love listening to music, although my taste is all over the place, my favourite song depends on the day and my mood. I also love to read a lot, I read over 100 books last year a few of which were audiobooks, i like to stay active, i work out while listening to audiobooks a lot. in addition, I do kickboxing and a few martial arts too.

some of my interests…I’m big on psychology and criminal psyche, I love dissecting the way that people think. I also absolutely love animals, I have two dogs and a snake myself. i think one of my favourite dates I’ve ever been on was going to the aquarium together.

my bad habits are as i said before, a bit controlling. i'm a night owl and stay up really late which leads me to being tired a lot. i also on and off smoke, a habit i've been trying to break for awhile.

my love language is words of affirmation or quality time, I’m not always huge on being touched but I love to tell the people close to me how much I care about them/praise them. with a partner I’m not entirely opposed to being touched it’s just not how I’d primarily show my affection. sometimes I don’t want to be touched at all and like my space a bit more which has been a problem in previous relationships but I do like to cuddle sometimes, I like being the big spoon and feeling their heartbeat (feels a bit creepy typing it out lol).

Just now I'd love to read a fanfic/series of oneshots of characters from Star Wars having a movie nights watching some films from our world.

Whether Original, Prequel, Sequel trilogy - doesn't matter! Invite everyone! Or only have it be specific characters or trilogy only! Heck do all three of you'd like - I know I'd read them all, sounds fun!

Just brought a smile to my face as I was watching some films, and thought "I wonder how they might react to this?" I think it can be particularly fascinating to see their reactions, hear their thoughts and different perspectives vs ours on how they feel about the films, and even maybe if it effects them at all afterwards. Particularly if this is set during Prequel era it could be amusing or entertaining to see if this causes any reactions through the Jedi temple/Order and even the Clones too!

Heck! Maybe even go full AU/Isekai with it and have a person from our world fall into theirs every other night for a film night XD

Here's a few I thought could be interesting, may add more later, and my thoughts on why (Apologies that some are more in-depth than others. Some cane to mind in wonderful details while ithers struck my brain like lightning spur of the moment "Oh! This one too!"):

1) A Quiet Place (The one that kind of kickstartered this idea): I feel like this would be such a GREAT one just for the questions it would pose and discussions between characters on how they would handle such a situation, communication techniques, survival techniques etc Honestly think this would be a really good one to hear from Clone Wars era gang in particular just because between the clones and our favourite jedi I feel there are some fun dialogue to bounce between characters.

2) The Hunger Games series: Just this series of films from any of them would be... An experience to say the least!

3) Moulin Rouge: The chaotic nature of the Prequel/Clone Wars Era characters watching this could be outstanding - all depending on just what direction you're want to take with character reactions - I feel there is such peak comedy to be had here. Heck, even having the original trilogy watching this one could lead to some hilarious misunderstandings!

4) Lord of the Rings series: The parallels you could make for the wars in each era to the inner battle for the Jedi of the dark side and keeping balance as a whole - truly could have dome good back-and-forths and maybe even some battle strategy debates.

5) Each Era reacting to each other's films: Is it extremely meta? Yes. Could it be confusing? Most likely. Could it still be fun if written and handled well? Absolutely. There's so much potential for hurt/comfort, fluff, angst, comedy and utter chaos to be had with this one.

6) Inside Out: Oh the possibilities! I'd rather love to see a lighthearted whimsical approach to this, but you could approach this in so many ways. I feel like the Jedi could use this to potentially help Younglings/Padawans with processing certain emotions and understanding them.

7) Wall-E: For one, beautiful love story. And another, just imagine the droid appreciation!

8) Steven Universe The Movie: From the wonderful songs that I feel could strike a cord in many a beloved character - I feel this could spark a discussion on feels of loneliness, isolation and potential abandonment issues for a CERTAIN few.

9) Train to Busan: I'd love to see any of the Star Wars react to a horror flick especially a Zombie one and this one is phenomenal! And that emotional punch at the end just... Aaaaaah!

10) Lilo & Stitch: Found family, themes of Identity & finding purpose, and unique characterisations of Alien species.

11) Five Nights at Freddy's: Similar to my reasons on The Hunger Games that this would be an EXPERIENCE - not to mention just trying to rationalise anything happening.

12) Poirot - Murder on the Orient Express: Yes, I very specifically mean the 2010 David Suchet version (It is the best by far with David Suchet fantastic portrayal and does not change the ending or events in the narrative unlike some versions) No film night is complete without a good murder mystery and this is one of the best. I'd love to see the theories and guesses they'd toss around, the shock at the ending and questions it provokes on the justice system and justice itself.

13) Clue/Glass Onion: We've had a serious murder mystery, so how about some funny ones too! Feel we could have a number of confused characters and those laughing their arse off.

14) Taken: Similar reasons to Moulin Rouge - oh my gosh, could you imagine Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padmae's reactions?

15) V for Vendetta: A part front being an amazing film (The graphic novel is even more incredible! Honestly, they're both great) I couldn't begin to think of how Anakin's brain would malfunction. Heck, imagine Luke and Leia seeing it with some context on their mother's identity!

16) Invasion of the Body Snatchers/The Thing: Creature feature! (At least I've always thought of them as such 😅) My goodness, the shock. The accusations. The paranoia. So many good reactions you could get! And I feel there is great potential for the 'Aftermath' .

17) Titanic - Tears abundant. Devastation. The pure tragedy - or maybe frustration depending on how you prefer to take it? I could imagine some characters questioning why characters don't just do this or use this specific item? Could end becoming a critique.

18) West-Side Story (1961): Really wanted throw a musical in and "In America" popped into my head.

19) Much Ado About Nothing: Oh I don't see this causing any has any realisations about some of their own relationships - no suree! 😁

20) Pokemon The First Movie: I would LOVE to see what they thought of Pokemon! And also what happens to Ash in this film because by the force, this film can still make me cry even after 20 years!

21) Maquia When the Promised Flower Blooms: This film broke my friends. It broke me. I have no doubt it would break the anyone in Star Wars - and I would love to see it.

22) The Neverending Story: Quintessential heroes journey. Okay, truthfully we all know the scene that made me list this.

23) Jumanji: Don't know if this will unequivocally confuse every character or if they would enjoy the fun adventure?

24) Indiana Jones series: Would Han be flattered, confused or irritated by an imposter?

25) Matilda: I 100% believe they would think Matilda is a force sensitive child and would love the way she uses her abilities - and not to mention the judgement of Miss Trunchball!

There's so many more that can be done, and more that I might add later! And there's even a few series I'd love to throw in there: Hazbin Hotel, The Legend of Vox Machina, Lackadaisy, Digital Circus, Poirot etc

DR Scripts

{This is just the script I used for my YouTube video!}

Where you’re going to shift:

I think it’s pretty clear as to why this is important, you wanna go to the right DR, don’t you? I usually title my DR scripts because I make them on google slides or on notion. The DR I’m currently trying to go to is my Jasper Hale DR, obviously it is a Twilight DR

Though I always call it a specific name, because I have so many DRs. I currently have three different Jasper DRs, then two other Twilight DRs.

You can shift wherever, whenever. Some people decide to go to famous shows or films, like Harry Potter or the MCU, some people like to go to book series, like Six of Crows or These Hollow Vows (if you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it). However, as I’m sure many are aware, you don’t have to go to a fictional world, you can go someplace where you are an actor or a singer, I have a fame DR and a Streamer DR.

Being able to go anywhere, any time, is basically being able to be whoever you want. Obviously do not go to places that you want to purposely traumatise you, or go somewhere just so you can kill people because trauma does cross over to different realities and killing someone is just downright wrong.

Scripting about you:

Scripting about you can be as little detail or as much detail as you want, as I will say a lot in this video, but it’s true! I personally script a lot about myself, that is mostly because I don’t like guessing or assuming what my backstory might be. Though, some shifters just put how old they are and their name and let the universe decide.

Things you can script about yourself is: Your backstory, meaning family, place of birth, hometown; appearance, meaning how tall you are, your hairstyle, your eye colour; your likes, interests, dislikes and hobbies; gender and sexuality; outfits and aesthetics; and skills and abilities.

My scripts are usually really similar when it comes to my appearance, I’m always 5,11 or taller, I almost always have a shag cut with split hair and I always script my ideal outfits (cause I know I’m not stylish here).

I like to script roughly where I live too, some DRs it is difficult because I don’t exactly know streets names or certain towns, but I usually script that I am ‘down the street to so and so’s place’ or ‘this many minutes away from a certain place’. If I’m scripting for a marvel DR, I basically always live in the Compound, so when scripting for this, I write roughly where I am based on rooms. Meaning, I just have rooms next to Wanda and Pietro in the majority of my MCU DRs.

When scripting for houses or rooms, I like to spend hours on Pinterest to find roughly what I want, but I am a picky person so I usually just find an aesthetically pleasing picture and say that’s the aesthetic my room or house has and then go on from there.

Scripting ‘wake up’ scenes:

Alrighty, ‘wake up’ scenes, personally my favourite. Wake up scenes can go from waking up in normally in your bedroom, on a train to Hogwarts, a S.H.I.E.L.D. quinejet, someplace in Middle Earth, anywhere. You can have someone waking you up, whether they are shaking you up or knocking on your door, or you can wake up to an alarm or the sun shining through your window.

Personally, I like getting straight into my DR, or straight into action. I am the most impatient person you will meet, so I like having my comfort character waking me up. For example, the DR I’m currently shifting to, my wake up scene is Clint Barton waking me up on the quinjet, the same quinjet we get on to go to Sokovia where we see none other than Pietro and Wanda Maximoff. So… That’ll be fun.

Though, other DRs, like my Twilight ones, I don’t wake up straight to action - for obvious reasons. Instead I’d wake up to a normal day of either school or work, depending on the DR, or a day before a day like that - just to compose myself before actively talking to my favourite characters. While DRs like my Middle Earth DRs, I wake up to immediately meeting my S/o or other comfort characters, mostly because I don’t know what a normal day would be like in that universe.

Scripting scenarios:

I like scripting scenarios, or, well, roughly something that will happen. I never script exactly when it will happen though, or word for word what I will do or say. Just the summary of sorts of it. You can script as many scenarios as you want, to angst, fluff, angry love confessions, (if your going to MCU or any mission-based DRs) missions, events, etc..

You can script how certain events will go down, for example, say your shifting to the MCU, you can script how you come into play with certain Stark Parties, conversations, battles, reunions and such. I personally don’t when it comes to scenes in films, mostly because I never know how I’d actually would provide any humour or help, so I just wait to see how useful I can actually be when I shift.

Scenarios I do script, however, are usually ones that would not happen in the actual film or series and would only make sense to happen if my character or person would be involved. For example, in my Asgardian Prince DR, there’s a whole new story to Loki where he and I have a forced-to-work-together to lovers trope because of this whole situation that happened to me and my family.

Scripting friendships and relationships:

when scripting relationships and friendships, it can literally be however you want. Personally I don’t script how friendships will be because I don’t know how I would act with that person, but I do script relationships to an extent. I usually script who my significant other and/or others will be and the rough time we’d be together. Like in my Criminal Minds DR I scripted that me and Spencer will end up dating just before season 2.

I see some people online saying how it’s ‘forcing the other person’ to be with you if you script who your love interest or interests are, but it’s not like that at all. Scripting that you two are together is just basically specifying that you’re going to a DR where the two of you end up (or are already) together, it’s not forcing at all.

You can also script rivalries if you so desire, family members and your relationship with them.

That’s all really what I know about scripting, as I said before I really only script stuff about myself and not outside of me and my family / history. But you can really script anything, and I mean anything.

Apps I recommend to use for scripting:

Some apps I recommend for scripting are Notion, google slides / PowerPoint, notes and the Lifa App. Some are pretty clear why I like them for scripting, like PowerPoint and Notion because it is quite easy to organise and make it look nice. The lifa App is on Iphones, but I’m not sure what other devices it may be on.

Listen, I have way too many ideas for this little guy for my own good. Here's part two for some autistic baby regressor Metal Sonic headcanons!

- Metal can be a bit whiney when he's smaller around any caregiver he may have access to, though Metal Sonic tends to whine for different reasons. It all depends on the context. Sometimes when they get excited over something when they're little, they'll let out some happier sounding whines. Though for more negative sounding whines, it's often times caused by Metal becoming impatient over something or not getting what he wants.

- Since Metal Sonic is a villain, he can be a little naughty sometimes! He LOVES causing mischeif and some mayhem when he's little, especially in his toddler range. Such as drawing on walls, scratching up furniture ( if his mitts aren't on them. ), playing keep away with people's things, or sometimes having a bit of a potty mouth in their beeps and boops.

- So, you fellas remember that little bunny stuffie named Reaper that I mentioned in the first post? Well, there's a specific reason why Metal loves that particular. It's because of the stars on their ears. Reaper reminds Metal Sonic of one of their favourite locations, Stardust Speedway. They find comfort in the place thanks to the memories that they have there, so Reaper was just loved on at first sight.

- With the fact that Metal finds comfort in Stardust Speedway but doesn't often get the chance to go there since it's on Little Planet, he's become fascinated by stars. So alot of the items that he has for when he regresses have stars on them since they remind them of one of their favourite places!

- Although nobody can really understand their beeps and boops, Metal Sonic has special nicknames for everyone he knows when he's little! For example, Orbot and Cubot are " Oob " and " Coob ", Reaper is " Weapy ", and some parental nicknames he may give to people include baba and beebo! If yer curious as to what he calls everyone else, I can happily give you the nicknames that Metal calls them!

- Metal Sonic hates sleeping alone when he's tinier. So often times Metal will drag Orbot and Cubot along to stay with them while they're resting ( most of the time while they're charging. ), and he loves getting all cozied up just to lay his head on one of their laps and doze off. And Reaper has to be apart of it, otherwise he'll NEVER shut his eyes.

- If Eggman is gone for the weekend and leaves Metal in charge of everything, Metal tends to sneak into and sleep in Eggy's bed if they happen to end up accidentally regress while on their Eggman Empire watching duties. He feels really safe in there, and often times he'll try to cover his entire body and head with his blankets just so that they feel as safe and secure as possible.

- Metal Sonic tends to not walk alot when he's smaller. Really, he tends to do one of two things. He either crawls, or he waddles. Besides those, he often wants to be carried around just to feel taller. Though if you were to ask Metal to walk while he's got the baby brain, he wouldn't even waddle. He's just crawl out of spite.

- Metal has a happy stim that he only does when he's excited and little, those being some happy wiggles. He can be a bit wiggly sometimes, so sometimes if Metal gets layed or sat down somewhere and they get excited? Their tail ends up wagging so hard that their bottom kind of starts to wiggle with it. It only lasts for a few seconds, but it's often a very silly few seconds accompanied by some other stims such as hand flapping and some vocal stims.

- Metal tends to find comfort when a caregiver of his rubs his back, pets him, or gently trace their fingers along his metal skin ( on places such as his arms, legs, and back. ) when he's having a tough time when he regresses. Especially at night time or when he's overstimulated when it's accompanied by some gentle reassuring words of comfort.

- You folks know about those baby bouncers that attach to the tops of doorways so that the baby can have themselves a good ol' time bouncing around? Yeah, Metal would love to have one. If he did ever get one, he'd absolutely love hanging out in it, especially if he's being a bit of an energetic tot who needs to get the wiggles out. Baby bouncers are his absolute friend, even if he can only touch the floor when he bounces.

This Includes: Abigail, Max, Zach, Jude, Ciarán, Adam & Apollo

Abigail isn’t great at comfort (she can barely hold herself together let alone you) but her first instinct is to give you a bit of space, maybe discreetly watch you to see if there’s anything that can be sorted right away. Then, her next step is fixing you a drink she knows you like. Will perch awkwardly on a chair and just silently stare at u like a cat. She’s trying to tell you it’s ok to talk to her. Abigail can be gentle with you if you need physical comfort though it can come across a little like this tbh

Max is about to dash across the room and immediately scoop you up in a big bear hug like!!! Oh no what’s wrong!!! He’ll back off quick if this overwhelms you, he’s just anxious and wants to help you feel better. Up to do whatever you want. A ride on his motorcycle? He’s already revving her up. Wanna just sit and watch a movie/show? Max will go get the snacks and drinks right now. He’s the kinda guy to try and distract you from your problems for a bit. He doesn’t like it when his little friend is down.

Zach better shut his damn mouth bc he’s terrible for sticking his foot in it. He’s not as good when it comes to verbally comforting you. Will cook you something good to eat if that helps, thinking he’s a master chef and all. He jingles his car keys for you to tell you he’ll drive you around for a bit, maybe go sightseeing, maybe cause some chaos depending on how you feel. Might end up getting you drunk and/or laid because that’s always what he does when he’s in a mood.

Jude panics a lil especially if she walks in on you crying and she feels really bad if she embarrasses you like that. Gets you smth sweet to eat and/or drink like honeyed tea hoping the sugar will perk you up a bit. One of the few people here who can talk it through with you well enough. Will rant together with you if you need a sense of unity even if she has no idea what you’re talking about. If it’s anything like injustice or you being mistreated though, her anger becomes genuine and she might try to fix the situation herself, maybe enlisting Zach.

Ciarán unfortunately can’t use words to comfort you so he settles for actions instead, being tender and gentle with you. He’ll take you out for a ride if that helps get your head cleared up a bit - Gormlaith also senses your mood and fusses over you - the wind in your face may wash away all concerns if you find it soothing. He also likes to care for your hair, brushing it and braiding it if he is able. It’s a rather intimate act for Fae, so Ciarán hopes you can feel comforted by it.

Adam will listen to your worries without judgement, and it’s at these times you appreciate his patience. He’s so easygoing that being in his presence might calm you down from any heightened emotions you were feeling before. Or maybe it’s the pheromones he’ll conjure up your favourite flowers if that helps. It’s nice to be in a natural environment, with the fresh air in you lungs. If you want, I think he’d be happy to lend you something to get stoned/high with as well. That depends on you though.

Bonus: Apollo will make soothing booping noises and play you your favourite music on his speakers. Sorry he’s a computer AI he can’t do much.

Snowpiercer- Really is anyone surprised? I loved this film for how dirty, tragic, and beautiful it was, Curtis is my husband forever and ever. I love him.

Captain America Trilogy- Loved them all, especially The Winter Soldier. I have watched them so many times.

Puncture- God this movie was so tragic and Mike was such a mess but I still really enjoyed this movie and appreciated the issues this film covered.

Avengers Trilogy- comfort series for sure. I will never forget seeing Endgame in theaters, that scene still makes my heart race.

Defending Jacob- Loved Andy! So so much. Probably too much. It's not higher on the list because it's a tv show and tv shows are hard for me to watch cause it felt like such a long movie.

Gifted- Beautiful story and it always makes me tear up

Playing It Cool- This movie was messy but I loved it because of that. Even the storytelling was a mess.

Before We Go- Honestly simple and not exciting but it had some beautiful scenes in it and I was so proud of the work he did for this.

Knives Out- Ransom really was just a piece of the artwork of this film. Top Tier, I am so glad I got to see it in theaters.

Ghosted- Honestly, I thought this one was good, even for all the hate it got. Cole was a disaster and unreasonable at times, over dramatic, but I loved it. Also, I think he had better chemistry with Ana than some of his other female co-stars over the years.

Push- One of those films I saw right around the time it came out and I just liked it. If they just left out his love interest, it would have scored higher.

Losers- Just a fun movie! He should do more comedy.

The Red Sea Diving Resort- This film has so many mixed reviews but I did enjoy it beyond Chris being fucking beautiful in it.

The Gray Man- Fucking Lloyd man... I just loved that mustached prick more than I should have.

What's Your Number? This was a cute one and I absolutely adored him working with Anna. I wish they did more films together.

Fantastic Four 1 and 2- Johnny was a cutie and I had a little crush on him back in the day.

Streetkings- I have only seen this movie a couple times but always enjoyed the drama.

Sunshine- What a interesting Sci Fi. Only watched it once or twice, mostly in bits and pieces, and I find myself getting really frustrated every single time that no one just listened to James.

Lightyear- It was cute. It won't be one I watch regularly though, but cute.

Loss Of A Tear Drop Diamond- I wanted to throttle all of them, but I did love Jimmy in those suspenders and Chris trying his hardest at that accent.

The Nanny Diaries- Cute, but not really my kind of movie.

Cellular- HAHAHA I did love this back in the day, BUT rewatching it I forget that my standards for films has gotten higher and I do cringe. Especially with Jessica popping in, I just don't like her or Jason Statham all that much. William H Macy though... loved him. Lol.

TMNT- I loved this for him, but it wasn't MY TURTLES from the 80's and 90's, so yeah I was judgy.

Fierce People- everyone was just annoying in this movie. I kinda liked it, I kinda didn't. Depends on the day.

The Perfect Score- probably if I had watched this when it came out, I would have loved it. I only recently watched it a few years ago and had a very "just wait till you all start actual adulthood" frame of mind. Lol.

Not Another Teen Movie- My first ever introduction to Chris and I absolutely hated Jake although I admit I still laugh at his insulting jokes.

The Ice Man- So I will give Chris credit in his acting in this, I wouldn't have realized it was him except I mainly watched it to see his work in this. I can't say it was a great film, for me it felt slow. But I can see where others would like it for the true crime aspect of it.

Scott Pilgrim- His part was small but funny. I will never get over the eyebrows. Beyond that part, I didn't have an interest in the rest of the film.

Never Seen -

The Newcomer- no real interest.

London- Y'all really don't know the absolute dislike I have for Jessica Biel. She is the main reason I don't watch this film. Syd also sounds like an absolute prick and I would probably hate him with a passion. I know, I'm sure I am missing out on some great scenes, but... I just don't think I could listen to Jessica's character and Syd whine and carry on the whole movie.

The Battle for Terra- No real interest.

And I definitely agree with you in how interesting Gojyo is, especially in terms of how he deals with interpersonal relationships and intimacy and how his past will colour them. He’s definitely an all time favourite character of mine (and I definitely call him affectionately dirty cuss words too, so I assumed the affection was there, haha!)

ROMANTIC ORIENTATION:

SEXUAL ORIENTATION: As you lovely readers can tell, I crossed these two sections out because I try very hard not to talk about my personal opinions of what character’s specific orientations would be. I do this to avoid fandom drama and because it allows me to be more inclusive to all readers so just assume that whatever opinion makes you feel happiest or aligns with what you need it to be to feel like Gojyo would love you…the answer is that.

SEXUAL ROLES: dominant. submissive. versatile.

PENETRATIVE PREFERENCES: I do personally feel like, regardless of whether he’s being dominant or submissive, regardless of the genitals of who he is with, Gojyo does prefer to be the one penetrating. He doesn’t want to be penetrated. The very idea of it will be one that is difficult to grapple with and he sticks with what makes him comfortable and what fits into his own views on sex, which is to be the one penetrating. And make no mistake – his penetrative power will play into his sexual world-view and he does tie a lot of how well he performs and how good his dick game is into his views of his own self-worth and his own manliness.

DOES YOUR MUSE GET JEALOUS/POSSESSIVE?: I do feel like he can feel really jealous, but I don’t think he gets overly possessive. He doesn’t often think he has the right to, especially since he can’t give them a lot of what he does think they deserve – commitment, a happy and stable life, kids and marriage and a family, someone who can always be good to them and who doesn’t carry all this extra baggage. So he does get jealous but mostly just gets annoyed or petty in his jealousy.

DOES YOUR MUSE LIKE POSSESSIVE PARTNERS?: I do think that Gojyo would actually get a kick out of a possessive partner, and it would really stroke his ego. He likes the idea that someone loves him to that extent, that they want and need him enough to be threatened or angry at someone flirting with him…that they’ve marked him as theirs. And I do think that sometimes, sometimes he’ll go out of his way to kind of spike that possessiveness of theirs, just because he needs that reminder and that feeling of being claimed as important enough to be someone’s.

DO THEY LIKE DOM/SUB ROLES IN ALL ASPECTS OF RELATIONSHIPS? (i.e., dom’s responsibility both sexually and in life is to take care of the sub and look after them, sometimes utilizing sexual and nonsexual rewards/punishments to incentivize them to carry out self-care or other responsibilities): He likes the fantasy of it. He both wants someone to take care of and desperately needs and wants someone to take care of him. That being said, the actual physical reality and logistics of it doesn’t really work out in any relationships he’s in and it’s not something he’s going to practice since the fantasy of it is far superior to the lived experience.

WHAT DOES AFTERCARE LOOK LIKE TO THEM?: Now, true aftercare is not something Gojyo will give in a casual hook-up because aftercare to him does require quite a bit more intimacy than he’ll be comfortable with. For hook-ups, he will sit with them for a bit, smoke, shoot the shit…he’s not so crass as to literally fuck and run, but there’s definitely a huge emotional wall that he puts up to separate the two of them. For a more committed or consistent sexual relationship, he would let a little bit of that wall come down a bit and he puts  a bit more care into aftercare, with a little bit more pillow talk, with some mild touching and softness afterwards. However, the aftercare he wants and really craves, he won’t let himself have because he really does crave cuddling, long and meandering but truthful pillow talks where secrets get shared, back rubs and kisses and just genuine love, which he doesn’t even know if he is honestly capable of.

WHAT ARE WAYS THEY PREFER TO BUILD EMOTIONAL INTIMACY?: I do think personal, emotional intimacy is actually something Gojyo works hard to prevent. He doesn’t want to feel that for people because he does get really scared to let people in, fearful that they’ll leave, that they’ll find him lacking like so many others did. So while there are ways he will definitely prefer to build it, he works very damn hard to make sure that those ways don’t get chances to come into play, shutting down even the hint that they might.

Frenti: Terrified of, hates, no words exist that can describe the hatred they feel for this horrid AI who has caused them so much pain and suffering. When they first appeared Frenti lashed out and attacked Caine constantly before being put in their place. Absolutely cannot stand being alone with him, but listens to him perfectly.

Audienti: The strong dislike is still there, but it’s different, rather than a seriously personal hatred, Audienti hates Caine like how one would hate a diseased rat, he makes them feel icky, filthy, stretched, warped, wrong, and unclean. Only his power prevents them from attacking, that and the rest of the audience wouldn’t like it if they put a stop to him.

Kinger

Frenti: Oh god what the fuck get that thing away from me I don’t like it’s eyes or how it’ll yell randomly or how it shakes ugh ugh bad no I am cowering in a corner like a cat reacting to a vacuum cleaner. Do not put them together, anxiety beast hare reacts poorly to twitchy chess piece that yells out of nowhere.

Audienti: Boooorrrring, boring boring boring! Yawning, booing, 0/10 stars, I’ve seen Caine do more interesting ‘magic tricks’

Ragatha

Frenti: Soft and nice, would like to hug, trailing after like a puppy, doesn’t like tea but will drink some for her. Definitely feeding off of Ragatha’s ‘motherly’ vibes.

Audienti: Liked her better as an acrobat, but the cleaver in the face all the time gets her points. She’s hardy, fun to watch her hurt, didn’t taste very good that one time Caine deep fried her, wonders if she has a candy heart and if they can eat it.

Gangle and AI Gangle

Frenti: Sad friend! Deserves better, has a terrible sister who scares me, wants to cut them apart so maybe Gangle will be happy, scary when her sisters mask breaks, hovers too close, not a fan.

Audienti: Similar dislike as they have for Caine, only somehow both more and less intense depending on if it’s AI Gangle or Gangle, finds their shtick boring and finds AI Gangle’s puppetering too stiff to enjoy how morbid it is.

Klaufmo

Frenti: Get that the fuck away from me, oh god what if it makes me abstract?! Jesus Christ I hate it, AI Gangle you suck! Will cower in one corner of the stage if forced to perform with ‘Klaufmo’ and Jax isn’t also there.

Audienti: Even more disturbed by ‘him’, oh god what the fuck this is more disgusting and unnerving than Caine and Ai Gangle get it the FUCK off the stage NOW.

Jax

Frenti: Indignation over how he’s taller than them despite rabbits being smaller than hares, even though he’s a dick the fact that he’s similar to them (Rabbit and Hare) is comforting. He looks huggable but isn’t and that’s upsetting… I want to play with him, why won’t he let me groom him that’s so rude!

Audienti: Favourite performer ever since Ragatha stopped being an acrobat, likes how similar he feels to them, fun to ‘play’ with too! Hard to catch but when caught he makes the best expressions because he rarely makes them. This is my blorbo I like watching them suffer.
