Okay here is my actual real heresy take: I think Jesus decides when he wants to be in the Host of communion and sometimes he just ain’t there. He sees our hearts and how we’ve served him in thought/word/deed, what has been done and left undone, and if he sees that we have been good and/or actually repent of our sins that Sunday, he decides whether or not we are allowed to eat him. Some Sundays he is there and we go into a little frenzy about it. Sometimes he’s not and it’s a reminder that we have to be on our best behavior for his reward. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t with us in other ways.
