#i say that not unkindly of course but#i keep thinking of that poll and like so many of those options are#(of course)#things folks add cause they see other folks do it in their shows and think its cool#but they either dont know how to work with it or dont go all into it#(often both)#so its just. flat!#im not counting just trying to be trendy here cause like you can appeal to trends and still make them work in ur favour#like the only way you cant make this stuff work is when theres no heart to it#like if it doesnt come from you gut just throw it away or (at least) try to understand why theres no connection#rambles#it may be abundantly obvious that ive got a lot of big feelings abt the writing aspect of things
