But why can't I schedule a gynecologist appointment through mychart? What's the point of having that feature if I have to go to my primary care physician, that I don't have because I live in the middle of nowhere with no health insurance, instead of just contacting the hospital system and making an appointment? Just let me get my cervix looked at and some birth control!

#i swear healthcare in this country fucking sucks #i have healthy texas women's medicaid because thats the only one the state would give me #it literally only covers obgyn care and prescription bc and nothing else #and i can't even use it unless i spend $30+ on a pcp visit because I DONT HAVE OTHER INSURANCE #we tried to sign me up and my aunt was gonna pay for it herself and the government literally wouldnt let me or something #or it was like $400 a month and its just cheaper for her to pay cash out of pocket #but i loathe asking anyone for money so ive just not been to any doctor in over a year #hence why i can't get disability either #personal #healthcare #reproductive health
