It’s just literally so insane that they made Henry into a tradwife on Twitter I wonder what cmq thinks of this
#I think it’s kind of heteronormative and weird and maybe even a little racially coded but what do I know! haha!#they always use the excuse of “he’s exploring his sexuality and femininity outside of the crown’#and I 100% agree he would do that! he would definitely indulge in a bit of nail polish#or brighter colors#grow his hair a bit longer#but this is not those kind of changes#it just makes me so mad because Casey actually broke a lot of tropes with the book#making the taller guy gay#making the bi guy a bit more femme#making sure the white gay guy isn’t feminized/infantilzed and that the bi latino character isn’t just a stereotypical jockey ex-straight#and the fandom kind of just destroyed all this wonderful work that was done#and created this weird fanon#and anytime someone calls it out it’s homophobic and transphobic and abelist and everything fucking else and it’s like#you have made Henry into a completely different character and idk if I like it
