ok genuine question. is it gauche to text my friend who works full-time at the place im applying to (where i have worked before for many years, it's just a seasonal position so i have to re-apply) and tell him that there's a typo (they forgot to update the year from 2023 -> 2024) on the application page

#specifying that i do need to like update my resume and add a few things to my website before i actually apply i was just looking at #the page now to see if it was up yet (which it is. obviously)#it just feels KINDA awkward to be like 'lol hey nicky jsyk—' but idk he might appreciate it. but also he might not even be able to #change it bc it might be someone else who has the correct passwords n stuff to change it???? liiiike IDKK #grandpa max is god? i go to church now #the 1 vote rn for some other 4th thing was me just so i can. see results lol
