It uh… it might be wise to rethink the timing of coming here in January, especially if you’re heading to the DC area. Either way this year’s election goes things won’t be very safe, especially in that area

The thing is, that's the only time I have been available to take a break from my job in the last couple of years, and the tickets were so affordable..

At least I will be visiting my friend :) and I already did the whole museum run. Would love to go again, but I'm not insane enough to go that close to the White House.
