the time a tradwife blogger reblogged one of my quilting posts was so bizzare, she was just like "oh yes well i hate you and want to transform the world in a way that would make it fundamentally unlivable for you. but i will take this work of art that you made and strip it of the context of the life experiences that produced it. because i hate and wish to eradicate those life experiences. ok bye." this capitalist, imperialist world puts a lot of people through a similar experience of being aesthetically plundered by people who would love to see you dead. It's one thing to know intellectually that such things exist but its a very sobering experience to feel the revulsion of it firsthand.
