Another day another few hours spent thinking about how Nicolas still calls Worick “my master” even after they’ve known each other for 20 years.
#gangsta.#gangsta manga#the last chapter of volume 8 keeps taking my heart out of my chest and stomping on it#Nicolas refers to Worick as his master multiple times throughout the manga thus far#even after the contract is allegedly broken#and he still dutifully obeys Worick’s every order - including the one most important of all#it breaks my heart to realize that Nic sincerely does not see himself as human or as even close to Worick’s equal#Worick is still his master and has given Nic standing orders that he will take to a tortured and painful grave
