i'm so happy after reading this post, you don't understand

i get why people compare bkdk and ishimiya, but saying they are the same? it irritates me so much because when they both are ex-bully×victim, they're still very different. and that's not bad, both stories are good, but we shouldn't say it's "one ship in different universes"

#it also helps the audience that ishida gets the instant karma treatment while bakugo gets the cosmic karma treatment lol #the portrayal of ishida and nishimiya's relationship works because the story is short (8 manga volumes)#but you can't shove all of deku and bakugo's complicated relationship and history in a single movie without making it looks like a summary #they need all those 42 volumes of development lol #btw i think it's funny you can see “bakugo gets the ishida treatment” and/or “deku gets the nishimiya treatment” in fanfics lol #for me canon dkbk development is the best #<<<op's tags
