forever mad that they dropped the Tory and Amanda dynamic for s5 out of nowhere
#[ooc]#like I get the point is that Tory is becoming more isolated and is completely alone by the time she hits her rock bottom#but they could have at least had something happen to explain why Amanda suddenly isn’t checking in on her anymore#especially when it’s obvious that Tory is getting WORSE in terms of mental health#you don’t even have to be that close to her and see it yourself to see that#on top of everything else she’s dealing with#now her mentor is in jail and she’s going through a breakup and dealing with pressure from ck expanding + the sekai taikai#like bestie ... THIS is the time to check in with her ahajsjdkdjk#they did such a disservice to Amanda and Tory with this#Amanda especially bc it just makes it look like she stopped caring about Tory the moment she knew she wouldn’t come after Sam anymore#which is??? cold af and I’m sorry I don’t see that with Amanda. it feels like Amanda genuinely cares about Tory so I don’t buy it.#they should have at least had some kind of scene of Tory pushing her away or rejecting her help trying to save her cover or whatever#like what happened with Robby#Tory has a track record it’s not unbelievable#show her pushing Amanda away instead of just dropping everything lol#it adds more to Tory’s narrative of isolation and destroying her own life unintentionally and adds to Amanda’s growing frustration
