 Pintar was training outside of the World Tournament on Papaya Island by using his agility from his immense body size, until he saw a familiar face from afar when he entered the World Tournament’s “Adult Division”. He then approached him to have a chat.

my opinion on;

character in general:  [I did one of these reviews for a different Gohan player a couple months back, so I’m going to ‘cheat’ and use what I wrote for them in this particular section, since my sentiments about canon!Gohan are of course the same.]

Among the Saiyan characters – yes, yes, I know he’s half; you know what I mean – Gohan was one of the easiest for me to be able to relate to as a child in terms of fundamental nature, in large part because, despite his massive potential, he doesn’t possess a drive to fight the way that Goku and Vegeta do. I confess I had a bit of an innocent little crush on his teenage self when I was a kid, precisely because of his more studious, dare-I-say ‘adorkable’ manner. He’s just, straight-up, a legitimately Nice Guy. Who wouldn’t go for that?

I find his type of thing compelling, personally – characters who are incredibly powerful yet have gentle spirits and value using their strength to help and protect their loved ones and those who are unable to protect themselves. In fact, the root of Gohan’s power – rather, the thing that compels him, as a peaceful person, to fight – is love and the desire to protect others. And, me, I’m a soft little thing in this respect – I like people who are able to and willing to be open about the fact that they not only feel deeply about others but also draw upon those feelings for strength and conviction. Feelings as a strength rather than a weakness? I’m a sucker for that.

how they play them:  I’m not sure how better to put this, but your Gohan often strikes me as a bit more socially confident and ‘light on his feet’ than what we tend to see from him in Z. I’m thrilled about this because, given that your main ‘verse’ is post-Z, it only seems right that in such a setting we should be seeing Gohan talking, acting, and thinking in ways more befitting a young adult than a teenager. Still, your Gohan is clearly not a separate person – his character is readily recognizable in your hands. A bit more sassy at times, yes; a bit more willing and able to stand up for himself verbally (and deal as good as he gets), also yes; but nonetheless he’s still that sweet, golden-hearted boy who hates violence for the sake of violence and values ideals of love and justice. What we see from him under your hands is a charming young man learning to make his way in the world as an adult.

the mun:  Chill and in possession of an at-times delightfully irreverent sense of humour! My kind of person. (Also can I just say that I laughed the first time I read your rules page? Specifically the bit where you say that they make you sound like a hard-ass? Believe me, fam, you have quite possibly the shortest, least intimidating rules page ever.)

follow them:  Yes.rp with them:  Not yet.want to rp with them:  Naturally!ship their character with mine:  I swear, the more of these reviews that I do, the more I find it laughable how my response to this question, pretty much every time, is basically “not…really?” with some vague hand gestures for emphasis. (Shipping gets weird when your character is a god, as well as truly ancient compared to most.)

That being said, I don’t ship it really, no; but I do find the prospect of some kind of weird little camaraderie entertaining. I would say ‘come teach Kaioshin-sama what’s hip with the kids these days, Gohan’, but that would somewhat imply that Gohan himself is hip, so, y’know. Maybe not. The sentiment still stands, nonetheless.
