The Lazy Dreamer Story

A long time ago, a young man lived in a big house. He had a parrot named Ruby. The young man usually woke up late in the afternoon, ate his food, and then went back to bed. This was his daily schedule. Ruby was a smart parrot. Ruby, the parrot, sat in the window and knew that everyone should have the means to earn their living. The parrot was worried about the future of his young friend. The friend's behavior puzzled the parrot. One day, Ruby could not resist and asked her friend what was the matter! “Do you not get tired of resting day and night? The sun came out a few hours ago and people have finished half of their daily work. How can you relax all day in this world full of noise and bustle? Why are you so lazy?" Ruby, asked the parrot, fluffing up his feathers. The lazy young man yawned while resting and said, “Every morning when I wake up, two of my friends come up to me and start whispering in my ear. One is hard work and the other is laziness.” “Hard work tells me to get up! Lots of work awaits you! Don't waste your time relaxing all day while time flies. On the other hand, Sloth tells me not to rush to get up. It says there are many other people who work hard. He advises me to sleep more and more.” The young man continued, “They keep whispering all day and I keep listening to them patiently. All my time is spent listening to both of them.
