“I’ve been traveling all over the place, and then I was called here to Pasio.” – so does this mean he's the bw protagonist? like does this confirm he went looking for N?

“Don’t you think it’s kind of miraculous when we meet new people or Pokémon? The world is so big, there are so many people and Pokémon that’ll never meet each other...” – and this is some big issushipping vibes???

“My Oshawott is, what do you call it... Stoic, I guess. y’know, i used to really like ferriswheelshipping and issushipping because i thought that hilda and hilbert were 16 and that n was younger than he apparently is and it was always a really comforting thing to me but you know what?? i’ve been seeing that n is apparently like 20 and the protags are 14 so i’m just gonna date n myself instead!! n is actually just hilda and hilbert’s weird best friend and they each had a crush on him at some point but he’s too old to actually date them and besides cheren and bianca are right there

N/James:

Believe it or not, this is my first time ever hearing of this ship, ever. I can definitely see these two as having a strong Brotp type bond because they’re both rich boy babies who deserve to be happy!

N/Red: I think it was called Godtiershipping???

Anyhow, I think that if anything, I would see these two as close friends. I can picture the two of them having these deep in depth talks about live and just being interested in the other’s perspectives on things.

N/Calem:

As well, this is another pairing that I’ve heard of for the first time. :D Hmm…I think that Calem would be more like a kind of teacher to N. After the events of Black and White, if N were to go to Kalos for his “soul-searching” journey, I think that him meeting Calem would be so cute! Calem, while helping N fit in with the fashion based region of Kalos, would tell him about why he’s journeying and how he feels about being able to go on his journey, etc. I think it would be cute!

N/Mei: Voidcubeshipping (The otp of my heart and soul)

MY OTP THAT I WILL DEFEND TO THE DEATH.

I will ship this pairing to the grave because everything about it just kills my heart with feels and it’s so under loved..!

I have so many reasons that I ship this pairing! Ah, where to begin. I feel like Mei is kind of underrated in Unova because the region is still reeling from missing Touko/Touya so it’s hard for her to stand out as herself. As well, N still misses his friends from before and finds Mei interesting because of her ability to connect to Kyurem.

I think that this relationship would take time to develop, but would do so beautifully. I think that their ferris-wheel dates on Fridays would be their way of getting to know one another better and just sharing anything that might be weighing on their mind.

As well, I think that Mei would go and visit him within his castle and even drag him out a few times to get him to come and interact with people and maybe even sucker him into acting in a movie.

I think that the thing that would hinder this pairing, though, would be the both of them acknowledging/figuring out what feelings that they held for the other. For N, it would be sorting out his emotions and differentiating them from what he feels for his friends and his Pokémon companions. For Mei, it would be wondering if N’s feelings were genuine and if he didn’t see her as just a replacement for Touko/Touya, as well as trying to tell him how she felt.

*deeply inhales* The artwork for these two kills my heart and the one fanfiction that has them end up happily together is adorable! I wish there were more and that people would give them more of a chance.

N/Touya (Issushipping) and N/Touko (Ferriswheelshipping)

Okay. I don’t ship either of them….romantically. Monochromeshipping (Touya/N/Touko) is my family otp. I know that a lot of fans love those two pairings but I just…

Here’s my thing, and it’s not so much with Isshushipping as it is with Ferrishwheelshipping. I used to be a die-hard ferriswheelshipper so…yeah.  I just don’t like the fact that Touko is portrayed as leaving her friends and family with no care in the world just to find N. It bothers me because Cheren and Bianca were there for her through it all and I don’t like that they just get overshadowed by N all the time…I think Touko is a strong heroine and I don’t think she would just break down completely after N’s departure.

I’m sorry I just…It’s my romantic notp. I love them as friends though!

On a family level, these three are great! I love the pictures and just the non-romantic fanfiction that shows off the strong bonds between these three..! It’s very heartwarming~!

i was thinking about Ideal Pokemon Protaganists if i were to adapt the games into an anime, because i’ve been... lets say BUMMED that none of the pokemon generations episodes have shown a female protag unless it’s in conjunction with a male protag, whereas they have shown plenty of male protags by themselves.

and my first instinct is All Girls Only because that’s the sort of person that i am (well why not JUST girls then FUCKERS) but that’s not really fair either. so my ideal progression of protagonists if i did an anime would be

1. red for kanto. i love leaf’s design, but in my experience with just the games and the pokemon origins anime... red has more of an established personality and an existence in the games. if you have red, then you can have your choice of johto protag battle him on top of mt. silver. also. he can make out with blue oak, which i will admit appeals to me. plus, since i want female protags for a pretty long stretch in the next few regions i’m willing to give on this one. 

he has a charmander since red does in pokemon generations i liked that 

2. i’m going with gold for johto. since they switched up the designs between crystal and soul silver, neither of the female johto protags have the Icon TM status that gold can achieve. 

he has a totodile

3. MAY FOR HOENN. there is no question in my mind that may should be the hoenn protag because 1. her design is way better 2. she’s already an icon from the established anime and 3. it is TIME for a girl. the reign of the female protags has come 

she has a torchic, just like in the anime

4. dawn for sinnoh! you think that soggy bread design boy could carry this game? i think not. dawn is ready to kick ass and gaze up at cynthia with awe in her little gay eyes. 

she has a turtwig in this because i haven’t had a grass starter yet. 

5. okay so we have to have 2 unova protags, and while i think that there are some cool things that they could do with parallels if they were the same gender (i have a lot of cool headcanons with hilda and rosa) my preference would be hilda for bw. this is because i 1. prefer the design 2. prefer ferriswheelshipping to issushipping #sorrynotsorry and also... i just think that hilda’s a less atrocious name. PLUS i think that there’s not enough of a female character who effected the Plot TM in the biggest possible way and makes enormous shoes that a younger, male character has to fill (steven universe is like the only example i can think of) 

she has an oshawott 

7. which leads to bw2 which gives us nate! i think that nate kind of following in hilda’s footsteps, seeing all these major effects that she and her friends had on the region would be really cool. plusikindashiphimwithhughmorethaniwouldrosaso

Going off of what I'd mentioned yesterday about wanting to write issushipping or ferriswheelshipping, I've always wanted to have a fic in which N turns out to be some sort of Pokémon therian/otherkin. Or maybe an au where Touya/Touko is a Pokémon therian. But I'm not sure if there would be people interested. I mean, how many people are interested in Pokémon and in the otherkin/therian community/know enough about it?

I don't know, I might end up writing that anyway just because I want to, but... Does anyone happen to be interested by that anyway?
