I stand up for the Israeli women and children and will keep fighting against Hamas on their behalf till the last minute of my life. I have just finished reading the NYT's report documenting the horrific sexual violence practiced by Hamas militants against Israeli women on October 7. I am so offended and angered by my fellow Muslims and Arabs who are tolerating this and cheering for Hamas!

If targeting Jewish women, based on their identity, in such a brutal way is not a reason good enough for the entire world to back #Israel in its war against Hamas, what else could be?

No human with a minimum conscience should tolerate or justify what Hamas did to women and children on that day, let alone the mass killing of hundreds of unarmed civilians inside their homes within a matter of a few hours!

Hamas militants won't hesitate to do the same thing to any woman, including Arab and Muslim women who oppose them like me. Yesterday, someone sent me a comment on Facebook saying that "Hamas will drag me like a dog" and make me "bleed from back and front," the same way they did to the Jewish women (see the attached screenshot). Investigating his account, which is nicknamed after "Abu Obaida" showed that he is connected from Gaza!

@baebri97 I am glad you are an expert on feminism-- so much so, that you ignore the fact that Israel supports the rational and just treatment of women in society. 

The increasingly vacuous definitions of feminism are interesting, to say the least. 

Be that as it may, I am more interested in your fatuous accusations of a “violent occupation.” This claim is refuted by the following points:

Israel reclaimed Judaea and Samaria from an actual occupation, led by the Jordanians between 1949-1967. During this time, Jewish residents were expelled and Jewish buildings deliberately destroyed. Jordanian snipers would regularly shoot at Jews from over the border. 

Despite this fact, Israel has offered the Palestinians almost all of this contested area for a potential Palestinian State. The Palestinians have refused this on at least 2 occasions within the last 15 years. PM’s Ariel Sharon and Ehud Barak drew up generous plans offering the Palestinians this land, only to be refused. Even other Arab nations were furious at Arafat for refusing this. 

Instead of accepting peace, the Palestinians have turned to “Intifada’s”, employing suicide bombing attacks (drastically reduced by the Security Wall), car rammings, stabbings, rock-throwing etc. All of this occurs in spite of Israel’s security measures (such as checkpoints). This demonstrates that though Israeli errors and wrongdoing is undeniable, much has been provoked by Palestinian violence and rebuttal of peace. 

Palestinian leaders refuse to allow any Jews to live in their potential State. This would render the thousands of Jews living in Judaea and Samaria homeless-- again. Remember, the Jordanians had expelled Jews betwen 1949-1967 from that exact area, renaming it “The West Bank”. Many of those Jews actually work with Palestinians on a daily basis, often in factories, in farms, or domestically. (Another reason why BDS is ridiculous). They would not be safe under Palestinian control. 

The Jews have a legal right to live in Judaea and Samaria, as this was part of the land allotted to a Jewish State by the British and the international community. This right has never been abrogated, and this land has only ever been surrendered as the result of war. In fact, the total land allocated to the Jews was far greater than the size of modern Israel today, but most was given to the Arabs as a peace offering, because the Arabs revolted against Jewish immigration. Therefore, the request that Jews constantly concede land to the Arabs is a barely-veiled attempt at undermining and eradicating the Jewish presence in this area. 

Jewish women have a right to defend the Land of Israel, both politically and militarily. 

But please, tell us more about your definition of a “true feminist”.

One of the most insidious successes of the BDS campaign has been to ignore Israel’s strong record on civil rights, which includes the freedoms of all women to work, earn money, vote, etc. 

These rights are perilous or nonexistent in most Middle-Eastern nations, except from Israel. Whilst opponents of Israel’s existence noisily claim to support human rights, they turn a blind eye to persecution of civilians in Palestinian territory or worse, blame Israel for these outrages. 

Positive advances for civil rights in Israel are ignored, or downplayed. For example, pompous wokeologists claim that pointing out Israel’s lack of capital punishment or exclusion of homosexuals is “pinkwashing”, which is a totally fictional crime. 

This is because the judicial and extrajudicial persecution of civilians on unreasonable grounds in Palestinian territories is both embarrassing and unanswerable.
