lyrics from halsey's 'the lighthouse', most pics here from the photographer alexandra de streiguer, collage by me. alexandra has been the sole caretaker of the isle of shoals in the winter months for 25+ years. a lot of her photos feature lonesome and timeless landscapes, as well as ghostly figures and the hauntingly vast sea. i thought her photos were stunning and related well to the lyrics of halsey's song, which narrates an experience of being a siren leading sailors to their deaths.
