What you know about #Jamaican #cormeal #porridge! I know I didn't like it growing up!! Maybe it was the way it was made, a little lumpy with tons of #cow and #condensed #milks. Which I later discovered I was #intolerant too. No wonder I didn't like it.... I've created the most #delicious, lumpfree creamy cornmeal (aka #polenta) porridge using a base of water and finishing with #coconutmilk! I can now say it's one of the best porridges I make and 💘. Sweetened with a little #datepuree and topped with a little ground #flax for extra #omega`s, #protein and #fibre. Another great start to my day 😋 By the way did you know it's also #glutenfree, so great for #celiacs, a good source of protein and fibre as well as #minerals such as #iron, #zinc, #niacin, #potassium and #magnesium!
