Ryo Suzaki: ISFJ

Suzaki has a strong feeling for Amagai, leading him to put Amagai's concerns ahead of his own. This made him look like a dominant Fe user at first glance, but he wasn't. Suzaki is a dominant Si function user. He takes his promise to Amagai, in their past, as a part of himself that guides his steps into the future.

Suzaki holds on to his childhood experience with Amagai, which was a happy memories. When he discovers Amagai has changed far from whom he knows, Suzaki still wants to believe that their relationship hasn't changed, or at least it can be repaired. The combination of Si-Fe in such a situation can be quite destructive because Suzaki doesn't rely on personal morals (Fi) as a judge of good or bad values, but harmony with Amagai (Fe) which he pursues, which he prioritizes. As a result, he often neglects his own welfare. Worsened by the fact that his third function have not been well honed, his Ti acts to find faults and deficiencies in himself instead of helping his Fe to become more logical.

Suzaki refuses to think about various possibilities (Ne) that can be done to restore his relationship with Amagai to what it was before because he is afraid that this will actually distance him from Amagai even more, he is afraid that he cannot be what Amagai wants. However, inferior function is usually scared to use because it conflict with it's dominant function. Suzaki remains rooted in his past experiences and is uncomfortable trying new ways.
