An art dump since I haven’t posted in a bit (the first one is more of artist meme, but thought I'd include it)

Just a mix of digital and traditional art. These are all of ocs plus Isaku and Chouji from Nintama Rantarou. The first actual art pieces and the first traditional art are of my Nintama oc Kiyo and Chouji and Isaku. The last digital art piece is of Ninja Himori, which is for my role swap au. The last 5 traditional drawings are of Chen (a rc9gn/lmk oc) in humand dragon form (ignore the lack of claws on the dragon, I haven't ever drawn one before that I can remember) and Celina (a rc9gn oc) plus her ninja suit (a design for it at least) and her ninjanomicon.

So yeah. My art. Enjoy.

30-34: Roommates' Reminiscence

Caught up in the misfortune of the Health Committee once again, Kema-senpai and Zenpouji-senpai are busy tending to their wounds. As Rantaro and the others apologize, Kema-senpai says, "This is also one of my battles." Then, he starts talking about his time as a first year.

Officially off mini-hiatus! Thank you all for being patient with me while I died for the past few months. Turns out once you get the time to sit down and finish something subbing is a lot less painful than you remember it being. Who'dve thunk.

I think we've got all the episodes for this little arc done now! Woohoo! Thanks again to doisensei and tinytanpopo for picking up my slack with the rikichi episode. The community's gotten a bit bigger nowadays, which is awesome. Hi all!! Glad to have you here.

Extra talking and notes under cut!

oooouu...the scrunglies.... they were so ridiculously cute in their flashbacks this episode I can't believe it...

I like keeping certain phrases for my subs similar to how people in the past have done them, even if it's not usually how I'd write the same idea in English, because I like consistency, so I briefly considered using "let's fight!" (like in the English wiki) or "it's a fight!" for Tomesaburou's signature line. I ended up with the more general "it's on!", which I think also has similar implications. 勝負 could also work as match or even duel, but in the context of this episode I like the feel of Isaku and Tomesaburou fighting their own battles. Not sure if it flows as well as I want it to.

Isaku saying he wants to become a scab has been mentioned before, but I don't remember where. When I first watched this episode though, I remember hearing that line and feeling really satisfied that it was expanded on :)

Animation error!Isaku as a farewell gift if you've managed to come this far. Hoping to get back into being more active soon.
