My personal favourite since the beginning has been Isagi (I always love the MCs, tbh, everyone else is secondary) but Blue Lock is the first one where another character has earned as much love from me as the Mc- that's Michael Kaiser.

As it stands, I love both of them equally and I can't choose anymore :<

Isagi is, of course, a darling off the field and a devil on it- his duality is entertaining to watch and that aggressive personality is a rare treat in sports MCs. Additionally, his skill set is very exciting- bro is intelligent and everyone acknowledges it :>

Kaiser, on the other hand, is a complete menace/affectionate :3

The first thing that struck me about him is his personality, surprisingly, and not his character design (though I do love it, he's pretty and has the most unique design in bllk, that tattoo and hair is personal favourite, and I love the red eyeliner <3).

He's arrogant and high and mighty, early NEL Kaiser was better than everyone else, knew it and acted like it, and while that seems like he's built to be hated, his theatre analogies and over the top drama was something I found charming. And later, as we progress through the NEL, we see the cracks forming in His Royal Highness armour ND that's just delicious (no, I am not a sadist :>).

A character arc of a person hitting absolute rock bottom (not starting there) and then pulling himself up on sheer grit, hardwork and ferocity is gorgeous. It's a treat to watch, it's inspiring. And we are seeing that with Kaiser (hopefully).

The more we find out about Kaiser, the more charmed I am, and I cannot wait for his backstory to drop.

As for hcs, I am pretty convinced that if they weren't football players, Kaiser would be a physics prodigy and Isagi would do something in the field of psychology. (Their yapping about holistic and individualistic approaches and the magnus effect is adorable)

My no 1 bllk ship is KaiSagi (though I suppose that's kinda obvious from my blog heh). I love their enemies energy in canon, and etl is lovely genre to explore in fics. What really sold me on this ship is that the hate is mutual. Kaiser is the first bllk character Isagi has just straight up hated. He's been annoyed with some people on the field, but he gets along with everyone off it, except for Kaiser (and Ness, but that's more due to his association with Kaiser) and I find it hilarious 😂

Another ship (and character) that has grown on me is IsaKaiNess; though I don't ship KaiNess. (Ness fr deserves better, and I think adding Isagi kinda takes the heat off Ness, since Kaiser now has someone to bicker and pick fights with. At the same time, Isagi is ready to kick Kaiser's ass, which he really needs, and Ness is there to soothe any ruffled feathers. Also, Ness being there probably brings out Kaiser's soft side, which Isagi and Kaiser's history would probably discourage. It's just such a nice balance of personalities, I think, and it can be entertaining and interesting to explore)

Ok, so, first of all my fav character is Rin, both because he's a beautiful edgelord and because I love powerful antagonistic characters. Also, his trauma based on disappointing his own family's expectations hit a bit too close to home.

I don't really make up headcanons about characters though, and I'm not a big fan of AUs either! I like them enclosed in the space the author gave them. But if I really had to think of something, I'd say he'd be a terrible boyfriend, at least as long as he doesn't get over his family drama. Also, he would send memes without knowing what they mean. "Here, take this Pepe the Frog pic or whatever it is, hope it makes you laugh. It fills me up with dread, though." (Sorry for not being that creative ahahsjdheuhee)
