some of these designs have had their roughs/written descriptions around for a while already (the rockets and dj limescale especially being lead in design by @samhainian) and the rest are incidentals with varying layers of in-joke to the designs...

The Rockets - Your Dad's Favourite Band. From Back In The Day. Did 7 albums, each in different genres in which they were basically forerunners. And then one of them (Menken) vanished mysteriously. Band over. Oops. (Also, estrogen makes you green.)

Zavier Summe - Your Grungy Older Brother's Favourite Musician. He's a nice guy though.

Dr. Ruban - Leading academic in studying high control groups. An eccentric man, and seems to have a lot of theories on what happened to that one guy from The Rockets. His legacy will be having his research misquoted and misapplied by teenagers online forever.

Queenie, Chain, Howl, Citron and Mitch: Actual Incidentals. Adults who exist to fill up some background space. Queenie, Chain and Howl, specifically, are former classmates of Miao, filling out her non-existent social life.

DJ Limescale: you know when an album has a bunch of remixes at the end that you don't like? yeah those are his fault. Despite the rave gear getup however, he is devoutly religious.
