Note
Nia references Trubbish and Garboder in one of the earlier chapters when counterin Tobias' argument about the oddities of the human world…
How could such a species even exist if humans never naturally came to be in this Pokemon world of Seekers?
One of Trubbish' Pokedex entries says, "... was created when garbage and industrial waste mixed, causing a reaction that generated Trubbish."
Unless you may have an entirely different origin in mind for them, lmao.
Same goes for both forms of Muk and Grimer.
… Do Kantonian Voltorb and Electrode exist in Seekers? I can't remember if either have ever appeared...
And I guess the regional forms directly affected by humankind's actions (i.e. Alolan Ratata and Raticate, Alolan Meowth and Persian, Galarian Weezing, Galarian Meowth and Perrserker, Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark) could technically have unique ways of comin to existence due to certain historical or cultural events in the past.
Apparently the Vanillish and Klink lines came first and are what inspired the creation of ice cream and gears…
What about Golett and Golurk and Baltoy and Claydoll? Both lines were created by ancient civilizations… Same POSSIBLY goes for Bronzong and Bronzor.
And I can see Rotom existin... they jus can't inhabit appliances because those jus don't exist in Seekers' pokeworld.
And what of the Magnemite line? Castform? Castform was shockinly actually artificially created in Hoenn to help predict weather! I could see them existin somehow through natural means (clouds that became sentient through mystical means).
What about Deoxys? Deoxys simply came from space when its virus inside a meteorite mutates in the planet's atmosphere… Not from any manmade means.
Does Spiritomb exist and would it be comprised of 108 Pokemon spirits?
The ones I can def rule out from previous asks and convos are Mewtwo, Porygon line, Genesect, Megearna, Type: Null/Silvally, the Galarian fossilmon, Future Paradox Pokemon… And that would also go for Past Parodox Pokemon as well.
I'm also guessin that rules out Meltan and Melmetal as well (can't remember if you mentioned that).
And ya said Ultrabeasts don't exist purely because of no Ultra Wormholes, so no Lunala, Necrozma, Solgaleo, Cosmog, nor Cosmeon. (Though someone made a point in the server about that tombstone possibly havin a depiction of Lunala on it…) I do like the idea that Lunala and Solgaleo have existed once in this world, but someday jus... vanished.
Eternatus is said to be from another world as well… I'm guessin it doesn't exist, or maybe it does to some compacity? Do Zacian and Zamazenta exist in some shape or form?
And since gimmicks like Z-Moves, Dynamax, Gigantamax, and Mega Evolution also don't exist, it'd only make sense the Terrastalization phenomenon also doesn't exist, so no Teragapos either… (Maybe they did at one time but have all vanished or gone extinct).
Could the Treasures of Ruin (Chien-Pao, Wo-Chien, Chi-Yu, and Ting-Lu) also exist in some capacity? It could've been some long forgotten or scarcely known Legendary crafted the items they possess and planted them as precious artifacts across rhe world that intrepid explorers or passersby found and the resultin avarice of whomever owned the treasures caused their curses to bring them to life and take on their corporeal forms as a form of punishment or some sick pleasure from that Legendary? I dunno, I jus really love this quartet! They're so fascinatin and I myself have actually found a way to incorporate them into my PMD EOS AU lore!!
I know this is an enormously long ask, but thanks tons if ya take the time to comb through this and offer some answers! I know a lot of this is reachin and not really pertinant to Seekers' main plot, but it'd be really cool supplementary material! Sorta like what ya guessed for Zekrom and Reshiram.
Oh dang, this is a beefy ask, haha! Here we go.
The Pokemon in Seekers still create waste, even if most of it isn't nearly as manufactured and toxic as the human world's! Plus, the runoff from natural poison types like the gulpin and clodsire lines contributes to the natural poison waste in the environment. I will say that poison types like trubbish and grimer are much less common in Seekers than in the mainline Pokemon worlds, though!
Kantonian voltorb and electrode exist as a natural steel-type offshoot of the Hisuian variant! They just happen to look a lot like the pokeballs of other Pokemon worlds. :]
Hm...I'm going to say the golett/baltoy/bronzor lines just came from ancient Pokemon civilizations' artifacts, rather than human ones!
Magnemite aren't artificially created, so they're present in the Seekers world! I agree that castform could exist through different means, but it's likely a rare occurrence since they would have to come together through a sort of "freak accident" of weather phenomena.
Deoxys isn't currently present in Seekers, but they would have the potential to show up at some point if the space virus made its way to the planet!
Spiritomb does exist, but it's Pokemon spirits instead of human ones as is usually implied in Pokemon's canon.
The meltan/melmetal line exists, though they're rare! They're not manmade and are born from natural steel components.
Whoops. Forgot that I mentioned Lunala on the crobat's tombstone, haha!!! 😅 Let's say that Lunala and Solgaleo are largely considered legends, then, even more so than other Legendary Pokemon. They were thought to exist once, but have long since returned to their own dimensions and are no longer present in the Seekers canon.
Similar to Deoxys, Eternatus isn't currently present in the Seekers world, but could potentially show up if the meteorite it was born from in canon showed up in the world!
Zacian and Zamazenta exist, just without the same lore from Sword and Shield (so no Darkest Day). Instead, they simply guard their territory from threats. I don't think they'll be considered Legendary in Seekers, though. They feel more like regular (albeit powerful) Pokemon to me. I don't have an area in mind for where they dwell, though!
Terapagos probably exists, but its ambient power isn't enough to cause terrastalization in other Pokemon. No game gimmicks here.
The Treasures of Ruin might exist, but that's another quartet that I wouldn't really consider "Legendaries" in Seekers canon! I'd say they're lying dormant in their shrines throughout the Seekers world, but I don't have any lore currently on who sealed them away. They were sealed away due to being dangerous, though, since they were created from negative emotions! Not that that nixes the possibility for redemption down the line. 👀
Hope that satisfies some of your curiosity!

This is a little bit different than the kind of content I’ve been putting out, but as someone who is very invested in Pokémon design, I have a lot of opinions.
First off, I believe the sentiment behind this picture is that old fighting types are good and new fighting types are bad. So going off of that, I have to say I disagree. The Gen 1 fighting-types all fall under the umbrella of “martial artists” in some way, shape, or form. However, there are some traits from the Gen 1 fighting types that carry over to the newer, “bad”, fighting types.
First is aggression, exemplified perfectly by Primeape. Most of the new gen fighting types pictured are designed around the fact that they are aggressive. Past paradox Pokémon like Slither Wing and Great Tusk are known to be dangerous and their aggressive behavior is THE REASON we have to shut down the Time Machine in Area Zero. Paldean Tauros is pretty self explanatory especially if you have had to deal with them charging you in the overworld. Even many fighting type specialists portray aggression in their facial expressions and posing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another trait that fighting types embody is physical strength and athleticism. Machamp embodies this, as well as other fighting types like Buzzwole and Passimian. Even Meloetta’s pirouette forme and Hisuian Liligant gain the fighting type even though their inspiration comes from dance!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, we have the oddballs like Flamigo and Keldeo. Understanding their inspiration and lore will explain the typing for you! Flamigo, for example, live in flocks that synchronize their fighting moves to attack other Pokémon in the wild. A large part of their lore is the way they fight so fighting type makes sense. Keldeo, along with the other swords of Justice, are based off of the Three Musketeers with Keldeo representing the young fourth member, D’Artagnan. Much like *Zamazenta* and Sirfetch’d, the fighting type is derived from the Pokémon’s association with a weapon and it’s status as a type of defender.
Tumblr media
So while I understand that current fighting types don’t always fit the “humanoid punching guy archetype, it doesn’t have to. Also, Breloom is a fighting type but I don’t see anyone raising any eyebrows at that thing.

Tumblr media
Yes, Lilia is a cheater. Anyway-
Noivern is just a given, and I’m not entirely sure what Gliscor is, I’m sure that it’s obvious, but it’s bat-like enough for me and suits him better than something Crowbat or smth. Grimmsnarl is both a dark type and fairy type, plus it does fit him well so yea. Both Tinkaton and Bewear are cute yet could easily kill you. Also I saw a cute fanart of Lilia with a Tinkaton once, so I had to give him one. Kangaskhan bc Lilia is also a parent and Sneasler bc I wanted to give Lilia a Hisuan pkmn and I thought Sneasler fit him
Tumblr media
Thoughts: electric and fairy pkmn. Along with normal and fighting types bc of the half-human thing and him being a guard for Malleus. Zebstrika bc equestrian club (and also that fanart of Sebek calling his Zebstrika a Unovian Rapidash?? I love him and that fanart) Manectric bc electric plus it just suited him. Mawile bc I wanted a fairy type and idk. Just wanted to give him another fairy type. Granbull bc it’s a fairy type that doesn’t look like one and I thought that it just reminded me of him!! Gallade, like I said, is bc of the fact that Sebek is one of Mal’s guards, and finally he has an Eevee that still hasn’t evolved yet. It just doesn’t want to choose!
Tumblr media
Some pretty easy picks for him. Musharna and Shiinotic due to his narcolepsy, Galarian Rapidash bc of equestrian club, Aegislash bc just like Sebek, Silver’s one of Mal’s guards (plus Silv is partially based on the sword that kills Maleficent, or at least, is theorized to be) and Floette bc fairy type and it gives me his vibes. I will say that I’d want it to have a purple flower (though I do not think those exist in canon pkmn) bc I associate three different twst characters with the same flower, and so each of them has to have a different coloration of the flower, and Silver gets the purple poppy. Driftloon is there bc I’ve seen people give him one and I think it’s a funny idea, so I gave him one too
Tumblr media
Malleus actually hates us/j
But fr, I once saw someone give him 12 pkmn, and, yeah. Mal would be the kind to do that. I did only give him 11 tho! So, not as bad! (Unless he pulls a Volo and has Giratina pull out it’s original form, then yeah, 12 pkmn, but oh well-)
My thoughts: d r a g o n & legendaries. + Porygon bc of his tomodatchi. Oh and Florges bc of Maleficent’s thorn + queen stuff. And I like to associate Mal with black poppies, but again, I don’t think that coloration exists in pkmn? Just imagine, okay? (Maybe I should’ve given Ortho a white Flebebe lol) Cresselia Does Not want to be on Mal’s team I feel. Maybe if this AU had an actual plot line then I’d be able to say that during Malleus’s rampage, Cresselia changes teams. The only other thing I have to say is that I chose Zekrom bc 1) lightning and 2) Zekrom’s theme is ideals. So, yeah. Plus color coding! How wonderful it worked out that way!
As a bonus, I did give everyone else a legendary too, for again, hypothetical plot line reasons
Tumblr media
Yuu would have Reshiram, representing truth and inversing Malleus’s Zekrom, Lilia has Lunala bc of the fae of the night thing, it suits him, and I once saw someone give him one. Zacian for Silver bc 1) again, he’s probably based on the sword and 2) he matches with Sebek’s Zamazenta. Also, I once saw someone say that they hc Sebek to be partially based off of the shield, and I Love That?? So yeah. (This is also why I didn’t give Cresselia to Silver instead of Malleus)
Anyway, yeah.

(Lockstin yay!) For fun fact Friday. How is the god / God is hierarchy in this universe and is it similar to what this video holds?
Mod Kit: An excellent question! Allow me to rant.
Arceus is top god, of course. But alongside them is the original Mew, who is just as strong.
Below them would be Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina, who basically make up creation in one form or another.
Right below them are Uxie, Azelf, Mesprit, and the Origin Mews, who maintain balance in the universe.
Then there’s the worldly deity legendaries: Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Eternatus, and Terapagos. They’re basically gods of the planet, and are truly forces of nature.
The next tier is legends on the more powerful ends of the spectrum, possibly world-altering. This includes regular Mews, Lugia, Ho-oh, the Tao Trio, Deoxys, Regigigas, Darkrai, Cresselia, Manaphy, Celebi, Jirachi, Victini, Hoopa, the Tapus, Calyrex (while aboard its steed), Ogerpon, and Pecharunt.
Bottom tier legends are still a heck of a lot stronger than a normal Pokémon. Widespread destruction is they let loose, but probably aren’t ending the world by themselves. You got your legendary birds, legendary beasts, the rest of the Regis, Latios, Latias, the Swords of Justice, Meloetta, Heatran, Shaymin, the genie quartet, Zacian, Zamazenta, the Kubfu line, Diancie, Volcanion, Marshadow, Zeraora, the Meltan line, Zarude, normal Calyrex, Glastrier, Spectrier, the Ruin quartet, and the Loyal Three.
And then there’s little Phione, who is somewhat closer to a demigod. Just a guy with some legendary DNA.
Now mind, this does not include manmade legends like Silvally, Genesect, Magearna, and Mewtwo, or any of the creatures from another dimension like the Cosmog line, Necrozma, Koraidon, and Miraidon. Those are harder to quantify.
If you have any further question, just lemme know~

Okay, last little list here:
Bells Hells Legendary Pokémon
I already gave everyone a minimum of one Legendary in the original team post, so here's the list of all the Legendaries I think fit each member of Bells Hells (the Legendaries from the set teams will be included)
Chetney
Zacian- look, it's a wolf that's set to shank a bitch. Tell me that doesn't vibe with Chetney
Zeraora (Shiny)- kind of were-beast in shape. Shiny to match Chetney's own white fur
Kubfu/Urshifu (Single Strike Style)- more were-fuzzies for Chet. Single Strike Style because Chetney's the type to one-and-done it if he can
Okidogi- werewolf-ish Pokémon for Chet!
Orym
Shaymin- more friendly flowers for Orym, and the Sky Form is a little fighter like him
Virizion- grass blade Pokémon who protects others
Keldeo (Resolute form, Shiny)- it's a little sword guy (pony) like Orym. And shiny makes it green and Resolute Form because Orym knows what he wants
Kartana- a little blade guy for a little swordsman
Zacian- noble sword Pokémon for a noble little swordsman
Zamazenta- noble shield Pokémon for a protective little guy with a treasured shield
Fearne
Moltres- a burning phoenix Pokémon that Fearne worries will take on the Galarian Form that her Bad Future Self had
Entei- fluffy fire dog Pokémon
Celebi- little onion fairy and that travels through time for a fey that lived in wonky time
Cresselia- Fearne is lightly Ruidusborn and this is a gentler moon Pokémon
Reshiram- fiery semi-wolf Pokémon for our fire faun
Xerneas- it's a Fairy-type, deer are kind of close to goats, and Xerneas has a minor moon motif
Zarude- grass monkey for the druid with a monkey
Munkidori- another monkey to mother for Fearne
Imogen
Spectrier- Legendary horse that comes in Imogen's two colors: purple and red
Raikou- it's a thunderstorm Pokémon for a gal who claims she is the storm
Deoxys- an alien Pokémon for a girl connected to alien moon people
Cresselia (Shiny)- Imogen gets moon Pokémon. Shiny for purple coloration
Thundurus (Shiny)- another lightning Pokémon for our electric sorceress. Shiny for purple coloration
Keldeo (Ordinary Form)- little unicorn for the horse girl
Lunala (Shiny)- literal red moon Pokémon when shiny
Regieleki- more eletrical Pokémon for Imogen
Glastrier- another horse Pokémon for the horse girl
Laudna
Marshadow- it's shadow theme matches Laudna's Shadow Sorcerery. And Laudna does spend time trying to copy the Ladies of Whitestone…
Giratina- considering Delilah took her soul to a reverse/shadow realm, and that's the kind of place Giratina is from, it seems a good fit
Darkrai- a nightmare Pokémon for a woman who loves nightmares
Yveltal- a Pokémon that absorbs life essences, much like Hunger of the Shadows does the same for Laudna and Delilah
Calyrex- because it's the Pokémon that can bring Glastrier and Spectrier under control, much like how Laudna is a great deal of Imogen's control
FCG
Magearna- a man-made clockwork Legendary for the Aeormaton
Genesect- it's ancient and modified by people to be a killing machine, just like FCG
Miraidon- robot-like Legendary for the robit
Ashton
Cosmog- suddenly appeared after Ashton got galaxy-brained because it's a little galaxy guy from another (higher?) dimension. It's Ashton's innocent baby who doesn't know how to stay in the damn pokéball and not reveal his soft side
Regigigas- this is the big titan Pokémon, hauling continents and shit. Not to mention that the Slow Start ability reflects how Ashton had a titan shard for twenty years before they really got it to do anything spectacular
Regirock- if Ashton gets one Regi, it's Regigigas for titan shit. But Regirock is definitely Earth Elemental vibes and so also goes to Ashton
Dialga- one of Ashton's dunamancy domains is time and this is a Pokémon lord of time
Palkia- one of Ashton's dunamancy domains it space and this is a Pokémon lord of space
Terrakion (Shiny)- it's tough and it doesn't like bullies, sounds pretty Ashton to me. Shiny because I think Ashton would like the pop of the shiny palette
Zygarde- Ashton is sort of split into a million pieces by the half-beacon brain, and Zygarde's 100% Form is kind of titan-ish
Diancie- another crystal and rock Pokémon. Also goes a little bit with the Empress of Earth vibes, or rather the Empress's heir
Hoopa- a Pokémon that switches between a Confined and Unbound Form, kind of like Ashton's normal and demi-titan modes. And it messes around with space like Ashton. Also, normal genasi are sometimes/often sired by elemental genies and this Pokémon is based on genies
Koraidon- ancient earth splitter for the earth titan's blood (also mirrors FCG having Miraidon)

time for my next ffvii pokemon collab with nanaki! took longer than I would've liked to post the next one because life is a hell disaster but I made it
Tumblr media
details below
Tumblr media
ok I'll address the elephant in the room: This Sucks lol. turns out my whole idea to just recolor existing trainer sprites kinda falls apart when I gotta do one for a non-human character. please ignore this poor spray-painted entei
Tumblr media
species: alakazam
ability: inner focus
item: wise glasses
moves: psyshock, focus blast, future sight, calm mind
hoo hoo hoo!
inner focus seemed like the least unfitting ability out of the three that alakazam can have. fwiw I respect that in rebirth bugenhagen was able to look inward and do some self reflection to realize he was being an ass.
wise glasses bc he wears glasses. lol.
the moves aren't super interesting. I guess future sight because he's trying to keep an eye on the future of the planet and calm mind because he's old or whatever.
Tumblr media
species: pyroar (female)
ability: rivalry
item: eject button
moves: fire blast, hyper voice, yawn, taunt
since it was a japan-only mobile game, you might not be very familiar with before crisis. I barely know anything about it myself, but deneh is a female member of nanaki's species in it. I wonder if she'll be mentioned in the third remake game at all. at the very least, there's a a small easter egg in rebirth: one of the paintings in cosmo canyon shows a young nanaki next to a similarly-aged member of his species, who I assume is meant to be deneh.
it's not exactly fitting given what the ability does, but I gave her rivalry because to my understanding she initially looks down on nanaki for being a coward.
I gave her the eject button because she escapes when nanaki is taken by shinra.
since I think there's barely any information at all on her given that she barely has an appearance in the entire series, fire blast and hyper voice are just generic moves. yawn is because she was apparently put into some kind of stasis or something after nanaki was captured (I guess to retroactively explain why she wasn't in ffvii). taunt is again because she thought of nanaki as a coward
Tumblr media
species: charizard
ability: solar power
item: charcoal
moves: flamethrower, solar beam, ancientpower, weather ball
the cosmo candle is the bonfire in cosmo canyon. I chose a charizard because it has a flame on its tail, just like nanaki.
the charcoal and flamethrower are both related to being a fire.
the rest of the set reflects cosmo canyon's location in the desert. solar power, solar beam, and weather ball for the sun beating down. ancientpower for the rocks being old as shit
Tumblr media
species: umbreon
ability: inner focus
item: rocky helmet
moves: foul play, moonlight, reflect, spite
limited moon is nanaki's ultimate weapon. umbreon seemed fitting for a moon theme.
the rocky helmet is not all that interesting in itself, but it's a good item for defensively oriented pokemon. nanaki is defensively oriented in rebirth as well.
moonlight is for the moon theme. reflect is another defensively-oriented piece of the set.
spite is a bit of a weird one, but limited moon does more damage the higher nanaki's current mp. spite reduce the pp of an enemy's move and I figured that was related enough
Tumblr media
species: ninetales
ability: drought
item: heat rock
moves: overheat, flamethrower, solar beam, scorching sands
cosmo memory is nanaki's ultimate limit break. it has pretty much nothing to do with ninetales, but I've tried to choose a bunch of Beaftes for nanaki.
the ability drought, the item heat rock, and the moves solar beam and scorching sands are desert-themed again. overheat is for the cosmo memory animation
Tumblr media
species: zamazenta (crowned shield form)
ability: dauntless shield
item: rusted shield
moves: behemoth bash, body press, crunch, iron defense
:(
zamazenta is an ancient hero Beafte who is perfect to represent seto having defended cosmo canyon from the gi. body press and iron defense are defensively oriented moves. crunch because he's a critter. behemoth bash is so he can body gi nattak
next one should probably be yuffie. others are here

amanda's note 20
Amanda: day 20, we are glad to get away from the explorers, and find one of Lucius's Pokemon, and now we are on our way to galar castle, where according to liko, her grandma was already there, on the way, Sora one of the pretty cures, had a close encounter with two legendary Pokemon from galar, both Zacian and Zamazenta, but each of them are in their shiny forms, but luckily we managed to protect them from two mysterious characters that resembled a sword and shield, on the next day, we even came to see Steven, Shawn Coover and kyouichi's match against the dragon type gym leader, Raihan, so far Shawn Coover managed to get the upper hand, and one his next galar gym badge, but on the next day, I had a bit of an issue with both Steven kyouichi and Sean Corbett, they're arguing about getting lost, worst of all Steven made me really mad by saying rude remarks, I was so upset that if Steven doesn't change his attitude soon, he will be sent back to kalos, luckily Molly and Cassie convinced me not to do so and managed to calm me down, I captured another Pokemon called Leafeon, and after that Steven and the others apologized, but on the next day, Steven had a nightmare of seeing me exiling him back to kalos, so he ran away, we managed to find them, but we had a close encounter with the Explorers, after we beat them, Steven apologized and I apologize to him too, and now we clear things up.

What legendary do you think you could stand the best chance against in a fist fight?
Okay, so the answer to this is going to depend on whether you're counting specifically pokemon classified as legendary, or (as a lot of people do) those classified as mythical as well.
That said: any legendary pokemon or mythical pokemon that doesn't have fists, I'd win by default.
Jokes aside, though, and limiting myself to specifically legendaries, let's start out by going with pokemon I would not fistfight (though I would still happily take them on in a pokemon battle.)
Articuno/Moltres/Zapdos: Too hard to reach for a fistfight.
Mewtwo: I'd feel bad, they've been through enough with Team Rocket without me showing up to physically throw hands. Psychically, they'd probably win.
Raikou: Doesn't have fists, but can reportedly fly anyway? Another issue of reach.
Ho-oh/Lugia: Again, too hard to reach for a fistfight. I can't fly.
Regice/Regirock/Registeel: I don't want to punch solid ice/rock/steel. That feels like a really good way to break my hands.
Latios/Latias: I still can't fly.
Rayquaza: I still can't fly.
Mesprit: "Dare not touch the pokemon's body. In but three short days, all emotions will drain away." No thank you, I will not be fistfighting Mesprit, I happen like my emotions.
Azelf: "Above all, above all, harm not the pokemon. In a scant five days, the offender will grow immobile in entirety." I also like being able to move! Various sources differ on exactly what this part of the "horrific myth" means, but I don't really feel like tempting fate.
Dialga: Steel-type. I don't want to break my hands.
Giratina: Ghost-type. It's inconclusive if just trying to punch a ghost-type would be any more effective than, say, using an actual fighting-type move on it, but I'm still inclined to believe that wouldn't work very well.
Heatran: Literally the embodiment of molten lava. I'm not sure I'd have hands after trying to punch that, but if I did they'd be very badly burned and probably broken because, again, steel-type.
Cobalion: Steel-type. I still don't want to break my hands.
Tornadus/Thundurus/Landorus/Enamorus: Can fly. I can't.
Yveltal: Can fly.
Solgaleo: Steel-type.
Lunala: Once again—this is an issue far more often than I anticipated it would be—I still can't fly. Sure, I could if I had my pokemon helping me, but I don't think I'm allowed to have my pokemon helping me in a fistfight.
Zacian/Zamazenta: Steel-type in their more powerful forms. I'd be more willing to take my chances otherwise.
Eternatus: No.
Galarian Articuno/Moltres/Zapdos: Can fly. Apparently Galarian Moltres can't fly particularly well, but any amount of flight is more than I'm capable of.
ANYWAY! Now that we've got all that out of the way... there really are a lot more legendaries ruled out by virtue of "I would have a very hard time fistfighting them at all" than I thought...
Actually thinking about this, though, and getting back to the topic at hand (I'm so sorry, anon, I got off on a slight tangent) I think I would probably stand the best chance against Uxie or Regigigas. As long as I don't make direct eye contact with Uxie—I'll have you know I'm very good at avoiding direct eye contact—then I could win fairly easily, and while Regigigas is massive and strong, Regigigas is also very slow and I could use that to my advantage.
This is all purely theoretical, of course. I wouldn't fistfight any legendary or mythical pokemon unless I had a very good reason to, and if I did have a very good reason to I'd probably find some way around the various issues I brought up—but also I'd fight with my pokemon first, in most cases.
Thanks for the question, anon! This was a fascinating thought experiment.

wanted to rewrite this post for the new year!
I still have minimal designs for sarah/hugh’s pokemon, so same deal as last time! You tell me a mon and I’ll tell you smth abt their personality, show you an old design, or a gijinka design and you design the mon! go wild and do whatever you want! in return I’m still doing a full body drawing of a char of your choice :)
Sarah’s ref/Hugh’s ref for easy access 👍
this time I’m also adding legendaries! I only have a few gods designed, so I’m sending that out too. specially requesting ho-oh and lugia. Doing the pokemon and gijinka forms means I’ll do 2 fullbods in return! Also, I do have this kind of oddly specific requirements for gijinkas which I’ll tell you abt in dms if you want to do that.
(reblogs would be appreciated :D)
List of the taken/already done mons-
Hugh’s noivern, samurott, arcanine, skeledirge, krookodile, flygon, yveltal
Sarah’s lycanroc, meowscarada, houndoom, delphox, zoroark, luxray, sylveon, mightyena, hydreigon, lucario, gallade, torracat, eevee, umbreon, xerneas, zygarde, zacian (all are done/being worked on!!! :D)
in terms of gods: arceus, palkia, dialga, xerneas, yveltal, minor god zygarde (major needs a design), major god cobalion (minor needs a design), zacian, zamazenta, lunala
for the gods specifically: repeats are ok if you have a good role lore-wise for them. ex: another arceus that’s the main arceus’ secretary or smth

Something that's always kinda been part of the Pokemon world that was easy to ignore up until 2016 was the fact that most people in the Pokemon world know basically nothing about Pokemon. (It was impossible to ignore after 2016, because Detective Pikachu's mysteries occasionally had plot hooks that required you to accept things like a group of scientists not immediately recognizing a Gengar was stealing their food).
But it's true. The signs were always there, but the only people who knew about Pokemon were Pokemon Trainers, or other jobs that required humans to work closely alongside Pokemon. And I think in part that's because while people and Pokemon have always coexisted to some degree, the Pokeball is only a century old. Up until that point, it would have been impossible for researchers to study Pokemon in bulk. Unless we get another time travel/isekai set even earlier than Legends: Arceus, it's incredibly likely that Laventon compiled the first-ever regional Pokedex.
But Legends: Arceus also reveals the tragedy of that ignorance. Pokemon went extinct between LA and Diamond/Pearl. Ignore for a minute that some of those Pokemon continue to exist, even thrive, in other forms elsewhere in the world. Ursaring and Scyther could only evolve into Kleavor and Ursaluna by using specific items that, as far as we know, only existed in the Sinnoh region, and don't anymore, likely because industrialization and expansion in the region outpaced education. Hisuian Basculin are the only ones that evolved into Basculegion. On top of that, a lack of understanding of Pokemon leaves HUGE gaps in even human history. Within Legends Arceus, the Diamond and Pearl clans are convinced they worship the same god, which is the source of the hostility between them. In reality they're calling two Pokemon by one name that neither Pokemon actually goes by. (except mine, because I nicknamed the whole trio Sinnoh) and with nearly all record of Arceus and Giratina destroyed, it took one very dedicated, very evil man a long time to piece things together.
And that's not the only example. Arceus was all but forgotten all over again after LA. Zacian and Zamazenta were erased from the story of the Darkest Day. Most people, aside from the criminals, historians, and scientists who held an interest in their story, didn't seem to recognize Groudon, Kyogre, or Rayquaza on sight. Which is WILD considering that references to Hoenn's creation myth came up a lot during your adventure, suggesting a decent written/verbal history. But NO depictions?
It's fascinating to watch a world that has people living in such close proximity to incredibly dangerous, superpowered monsters, and then talk to the humans of that world and realize most of them barely even know the fauna that surrounds their hometown.

So you mentioned your gear in one of your recent posts blocked a steel wing from a Tranquill? I'm kinda interested in your gear, could you tell us about it? -Ranger School Anon
of course, i'd be happy to!
my gear is a lot of standard Ranger gear that you'll find, though mine has been modified quite a bit. my bodysuit and recorder remains unchanged, though.
the bodysuit is a standard-issue Pokémon Ranger unit, being breathable, temperature-regulating, puncture, and slash resistant. you'll get this once you become a second-year Ranger-in-Training.
my recorder is a standard, over-the-ear model that transmits what it hears to my personal computer, and saves it as an audio file there. there's about a seven-to-ten second delay between the recorder and the computer. you'll also get this when you become a second year.
the clothes on top are my own custom-order clothes. though their design is different, they are pretty much identical to a standard Ranger's clothing, being puncture, slash, and burn resistant. i commissioned them from a family-run place in Sinnoh, which makes a ton of specialty gear. all of my custom stuff is made by this specific place.
the boots are the first major change. normal Ranger boots have steel toes and soles, but mine are made with Aggron scales. mine also have impact resistant soles and Aggron scale shinguards.
my bag looks simple, but it too is slash, burn, puncture, and tear resistant. you can get one by filling out form B-46 after your first year of Ranger training. always stock up on extra potions and berries, just in case!
my final and favorite piece of gear is my gauntlets. these are a completely custom item, and aren't standard Ranger gear in the slightest. it's made with an unknown metal from a legendary Pokémon. i've narrowed them down to either parts of Registeel, Cobalion, or the more recently discovered Zacian or Zamazenta. they're a yellow-gold tint, but painted a metallic blue, and they're extremely durable. they absorb most impacts completely, and have only scratched once, when i blocked a fucking SACRED SWORD from Cobalion of all things.
(it was a very brief encounter, they thought i had kidnapped someone's Pokémon, and when i explained things and returned the Pokémon they left. they didn't make a noise the entire time.)
i also have my own keystone teardrop necklace, z-ring, dynamax band, and tera orb. given how rare or region-exclusive these could be, it's not expected and definitely not required to have them, though you probably already know that. both the z-ring and dynamax band are integrated into my left gauntlet.
and that ends my gear monologue! if you're planning on becoming a Pokémon Ranger, or another profession that deals closely with dangerous Pokémon, i highly recommend gear like this. it helps protect you and keeps you safe, all while not looking too out of place.

heck yeah am i ready for another essay 🎉🎉 i probably wont be able to read it until im done w school but i will be excited hehehehe
OK THEN i'll so it now so u can see it as soon as school ends! also why the hell are u going to school isn't it still summer. fuck the people who are making u go to school like what the hell is wrong w them ANYWAYS prepare urself for a um. pretty long essay ^^;
OK THEN let's start w the basics as always! :D hop like marnie is one of the three rivals protagonist has in swsh but unlike marnie he's the main rival! u probably know abt main rivals in pokemon games yes u do 👍👍 and if u don't. it's just the rival that is more important. ofc there's only been main rivals since like. xy i think? bc earlier there was only like one rival or maybe two. i think it was in uno a actually ANYWAYS i'm just boring u rn so i'll move on fkhdjdk SO as i said hop is protagonist's main rival and BOOM his brother is the champion of the region. yup just like that. he's called leon btw but this ain't abt him 😒😒 AHEM SO hop and protagonist too live in the first town in the game called postwick! they're literally the only people who live there. which is pretty funny considering there's literally another village like. 20 meters away but wtv pokemon can do wtv they want dkhfjd i just realized that if i tell u EVERYTHING abt hop this won't be an essay but a research work so i'll try and stay brief in the least important parts! OK SO protagonist's seeing a match between leon and his rival aka dragon type gym leader raihan and he comes over saying leon's gonna arrive soon so u both go out BUT just outside protagonist's house there's this fence that leads to a very creepy forest called slumbering weald and oh no! a wooloo (aka sheep pokemon) is using tackle against it! obviously it's bound to open at some point BUT that comes later 👍👍 SO leon arrives gives protagonist and hop a starter and that's when hop brings up the gym challenge! u see unlike other regions in galar u need someone important from the league to recommend u so u can participate in the gym challenge and Yes obviously leon's gonna recommend u BUT NOT YET!!!!!!! after that it's made clear that hop rlly wants to defeat leon and become the new champion but um. if u have basic pokemon knowledge u know that protagonist ALWAYS becomes the champion. and in this game specifically all the rivals want to be champions so the protagonist rlly does shatter their dreams ^^; but we don't talk abt that HAHA OK u have ur first battle w hop and just after that the wooloo opens the fence and enters the slumbering weald! and protagonist and hop don't think abt the risk of going in there bc they're heroic and stupid sighs. so they enter and there's a lot of fog and OH MY GOD IS THAT THE LEGENDARY DOG FROM THE COVER OF THE GAME yes it is! depending on the game u've chosen either zacian or zamazenta appear BUT in their normal forms w/o the sword and shield respectively! the fog gets horrible and protagonist and hop faint and oh no it's the end! but no bc leon exists and he saves them AND the wooloo 🙄🙄 ok i might have a bit of hatred towards leon BUT THIS AIN'T ABT HIM ANYWAYS protagonist gets a pokedex, fights hop and they get the recommendation from leon and so u leave the village to go to the opening ceremony in motostoke! u arrive there and reach the fire type gym to get ur league number and participate in the gym challenge and um. w-well. remember how i said this was the time when protagonist met marnie? but u didn't have to talk to her right then if u didn't want to? well u see i also said that's when protagonist meets me/bede and this time it is mandatory to interact. kind of. i don't think that was interacting ANYWAYS let's just say me and hop don't rlly get along very well during the gym challenge ^^; i'll have to talk abt The Thing later....... BUT THAT'S LATER OK? OK THAT'S SETTLED THEN ANYWAYS protagonist goes to the opening ceremony and then battles hop and he gives the protagonist.......
Tumblr media
ta-da! his beautiful league card <3 i mean srsly isn't he the most beautiful guy ever And i think i'll shut up now bc i'm not gay COUGHS so protagonist does the gym challenge like normal, hop goes his own way and just like that ur already back in motostoke bc NO the fire type gym isn't the first gym but the third for. reasons. both of them win and now they're both on their way to hammerlocke to continue w the challenge BUT. but. what a powerful word am i right? just by saying it yk smth's gonna happen. and smth DOES happen. um. well i uhhhhhh how do i put this. maybe if i just don't say it hahahaha 😁😁 OH BUT I HAVE TO THIS IS A PART OF HOP'S LORE AFTER ALL....... OK FINE ibedeappearoutofnowherestartinsultinghopwehaveabattlehelosesisayhesdraggingleonsnamethruthemudandthenleave PHEW OK that was easier than i thought <- almost started crying while typing it SO UM yeah the thing changes hop completely and it's all my fault :') dies WE IGNORE THAT EPISODE OF MY LIFE AND THE GYM CHALLENGE BC IT WAS HORRIBLE OK THANK U anyways after The Incident hop becomes more doubtful abt how good he is in pokemon battles and in general he's less cheery and all :c i actually haven't explained abt his personality yet so this is the perfect time! so like every other main rival he's a happy and mostly hyperactive individual who's also impatient! he also loves leon bc he's his hero and all that :] wldn't u say he's the most adorable ever Dies anyways and after all this i've told u well yeah he's sadder it's all super sad and i swear that part of the game is super depressing and everytime i replay the game i start crying BUT we're here to learn abt hop and not abt bee crying over hop during the gym challenge DO BACK TO THE THING from there his pokemon team changes constantly and he even stops having wooloo (aka the pokemon he's had since he was like five) in his team to see if he gets better in pokemon battles :') he's not even bad in battles but his rival is the future champion of the region and he just fought against a future fairy type gym leader so uh. yeah kfhdjdj ANYWAYS he's down for a bit BUT THEN after protagonist defeat the rock or ice type gym leader (depending on the game) he's happy again and everyone's happy too and i cry bc he's just so dkfjksjdkskd :') i lvoe him I MEAN nothing hahahaha ahem so after all that protagonist defeats some more gym leaders and eventually reaches the last city in the game in which the semifinals are taking place! BUT BEFORE THEY START there's this dialogue w hop.......
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
screenshots from my very own switch bc i'm insane. u see i haven't said it but a bit after The Incident i go batshit and decide to destroy this mural in a village. there's an explanation i swear i'm not insane fkhfjdj back then i worked for the chairman and he wanted to collect wishing stars and what is that u may wonder! well to stay short they make dynamaxing possible! but the chairman is using them for..... smth else. that i'll explain later SO since wishing stars are in caves i decide that it's a great idea to fucking destroy a mural! it actually pays off bc there's some important statues beneath it BUT the chairman doesn't like it and BOOM ur no longer in the gym challenge koha basically ur dad just expelled u 👍👍 but that's for another time fuck rose ANYWAYS as u can see he doesn't even hate me. WHAT IS WRONG W HIM i hate him (i'm in love w him) ANYWAYS protagonists defeats him and just like that breaks hop's dreams :') so basically the only character his age that doesn't hurt him at some point is marnie! way to go my girl ur the best 🫶🫶 but yeah some stuff after that happen and when protagonist goes to fight leon the chairman goes BAM and he wakes up this alien pokemon w all the wishing starts he's collected and everything goes a bit insane BUT during the story (i haven't mentioned it bc this wld end up being too long altho this is already horribly long but too late now fkdhjdjs) protagonist and hop learn abt the story abt galar and oh! there's this two heroes w zacian and zamazenta! and so they both go back to the slumbering weald get the rusted sword and shield to see if they can summon them and so they go to hammerlocke where the chairman is defeat him and then go fight the alien pokemon aka eternatus bc leon fainted while trying to catch it w a pokeball. who tf tries to catch such a powerful pokemon w a POKEBALL. but anyways zacian and zamazenta appear but they look cooler thanks to the rusted sword and shield and they defeat eternatus and three days pass protagonist defeats leon and becomes the champion OK so after that everything goes back to normal but now hop feels like he's a burden to everyone bc everyone's become super cool things and all that but at the end of the post game he catches zacian or zamazenta depending on the game and becomes the assistant professor!! so after all this u get that he's very cheery yet insecure. which is strangely like me. but that's NEVER happening ok? ok NOW random facts. i think i've given u all the possible random facts EXCEPT for the league number one! his league number can be read as hiyaku in japanese which means jump and well. that makes a lot of sense fkdhjfjs OH ALSO
Tumblr media
THE CUTIE 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 TYE MOST BEAUTIFUL EVER 💕💘💝💞♥️💘❣️💘♥️💘💝💕💘💖💖💘💝💘♥️💞💗💘💗💗💞❣️💘♥️💘💝💘💕💖💘💖💕💘💝💘💕💖💘💝💞💝💘💕💕💘💝💝💞💕💘💝💕💘💝
SO and let's finish this like an essay ahem in light of the above it's blatantly obvious that i'm not very sane abt hop hope this helps 👍👍 some things rlly didn't make sense so if u want an essay abt me/bede or abt the galar story pls tell me and i'll go insane just for u again <3 now if u'll excuse me i need a break flops over and dies

Finally, day 5! I've been looking forward to this one. For this day, I went with all three prompts! Debris, Pinned Down, and "It's broken." I worry that I might use Eternatus a lot in these coming prompts, but it's just so easy! After all, it was the big exciting incident of the game.
——————————————————————————————————
The air in Raid Dens has always felt heavier and more charged than a normal cave, Hop thinks. It’s imperceptible to some, but he’s always found it to be as obvious as day and night. Gym Stadiums have a similar effect, though not quite as raw, and he only really feels it when a Pokémon’s been Dynamaxed.
Eternamax Eternatus is a different story, though.
He feels like he can hardly stand upright, let alone breathe with how oppressive the atmosphere is. The energy it emits is so powerful and so concentrated that he can literally see it. Flashes of red bolts of electricity dance amongst the flying rubble, like they’re caught in the eye of a lightning-infused hurricane. It sounds like one, too, although Hop wouldn’t know. He’s never experienced anything like this up until now.
The battle is nearing its end, though. Zacian and Zamazenta have made quick work of the ginormous beast, whittling it down with their attacks while Victor and Hop contribute where they can. Eternatus clearly cannot keep up its assault for much longer. Its claws droop, no longer posed in the menacing, reaching manner they had been earlier, and the energy around them is beginning to fade. One last burst of adrenaline rushes through him at the sight, victory now in sight.
“It’s almost down! One last push should do it!” He calls both his friend and the legendaries to action. Victor nods to him, commanding his Inteleon to use another Snipe Shot if it can.
In front of them, Zamazenta and Zacian ready the final blow. Zacian holds the sword in its mouth up high, the blade glowing and changing in size and shape. It runs forth and slashes, dodging in between the lasers fired at it from the tips of Eternatus’ fingers. Then, just as the dragon is recoiling, Zamazenta’s armor plates shift to form a shield. It leaps into the air, practically shooting itself upwards as it charges into the palm of the hand.
A screech pierces through the chaos all around them, Eternatus shrieking despite a lack of any visible mouth. Then, the hand in front of them slumps over entirely. Hop lets out a breath he didnt know he was holding. They did it. They won!
Both him and Victor return their Pokémon, knowing they’ve done enough. Zamazenta and Zacian land with steady paws in front of Eternatus. Now that they’ve beaten it, this is their chance.
“Vic!” Hop turns to the other, “Throw a Pokéball now!”
“What?” His friend responds, wide eyed.
“What do you mean, what? Catch it!”
“But what if it breaks out again and gets angrier?”
He really doesn’t think it can get any angrier at this point, considering it literally Gigantamaxed and went into an unstoppable frenzy. However, before he can voice any of his thoughts, a rumbling noise shakes the arena. He cranes his neck upwards, and to his utter shock, Eternatus is shrinking. It compresses in on itself, one size at a time, like how a Pokémon would do after using all its turn of Dynamax. Once the particles have cleared, they can see that it's gone back to its original form.
Eternatus lets out a high-pitched cry, and Hop has to slap his hands over his ears. He watches as the thing turns over in the air, no longer resisting gravity. Realization hits him like a bucket of cold water. It’s falling.
The impact of it hitting the floor shakes Hammerlocke Castle as a whole. Hop throws his arms out, struggling to stay upright. Victor falls to his knees next to him, and Zacian and Zamazenta duck their heads to try and maintain balance. Then, he hears it. Debris falling all around them. The floor crumbling beneath them. Victor gasping nearby. And just like that, the top of the tower they’re on collapses.
Hop blindly reaches out for something to grab, but there’s nothing to hold onto when everything’s coming down. He feels the drop in his stomach, suddenly falling into whatever space is below them. The sounds of the tower caving in all around them and Victor shouting blend together. It feels too fast and too slow all at once. He can’t see anything, dust and rubble flying everywhere.
He hits the bottom, and one sound rings out clear amongst the rest. Crack.
White hot pain erupts from his leg. He screams, but his voice is drowned out by the pieces of the building hitting the ground. It's hard to see what comes next, his head foggy from the pain– A shadow descends on him, and then something heavy lands above him, pressing down on him without flattening him completely. He tries to push himself up, but whatever is above him barely lets him get an inch off of the ground. What’s more, his legs burns in protest, causing tears to gather in the corners of his eyes.
Finally, it stops. The last of the rubble falls, the dust settles, and it's silent. Hop swallows. He’s not in a good position, he now realizes. He’s lying prone on his stomach, the area around him dark due to the massive slab of concrete above him. It seems to be propped up by some rocks and debris, which he would be thankful for if it weren’t for the fact said materials have pinned his leg.
Arceus, his leg. He grits his teeth, taking in a sharp, trembling breath. It hurts badly, worse than he’s ever felt. Trying to shift it even slightly makes him feel like his nerves have been squeezed and wrung like a rag. A tear slips from his eyes as he curls a hand into a fist, trying to take his mind off the pain.
A familiar click breaks the silence. It’s the sound of a Pokéball successfully capturing something. For a moment, he has no idea what it could be, but then he remembers the fact that Victor had fallen as well. Victor, Zacian, Zamazenta… and Eternatus. He must’ve caught it.
“Hop? Hop, where are you?!”
And there his rival is now, calling his name. He has to take a moment before responding, feeling like he can hardly function after such a fall.
“I’m here!”
He hears armor clanking and paws hitting stone before a set of them appear in Hop’s vision. He can’t see much from underneath the slab, but he’s got just enough room to turn his head towards the gap before him. Freedom is only a few feet away from him, yet a few feet have never felt farther than they do now.
Victor’s feet join the legendary’s, then the boy kneels down and puts the side of the head to the ground. His expression morphs into one of panic when he sees where his friend has ended up.
“Hop! Are you alright? Can you crawl out?”
Hop hangs his head, then shakes it. His leg feels like it's slowly being crushed underneath the weight, all while being stabbed from the inside.
“I’m stuck. M-My leg, it’s–” He has to take a moment to breathe, “I think it’s broken.”
“No… Oh, no, what–”
Victor looks up, his head now disappearing from view. Hop can hear a low yet comforting growl, probably from either Zacian or Zamazenta. He’s glad that the legendary dogs are here, otherwise they’d be completely on their own.
“Can you move it? Or, or cut it, or something?” His friend asks, and it twists something deep inside of him to hear his usually level-headed pal sound so desperate. Judging by the lack of audible response, he assumes it’s a no.
“Vic,” Hop calls for the other, his face lowers into view once more. He looks terrified, and Hop gets it, because he feels the same way right now.
“Listen to me, mate. Y-You’ve gotta get help. There are probably people out there right now, a-ambulances an’ such. You’ve gotta bring ‘em here.”
“But– I can’t just leave you like this! That’s–”
“Please,” Hop cuts him off, practically begging. Victor looks at him with his lips pinched in a frown and his eyebrows tightly furrowed. However, he nods.
“Alright. Try not to move too much, okay? I’ll be back as soon as I can.”
If he could laugh, he would. It’s not like he can move much in the first place. He’s far too exhausted to laugh, though, let alone make any other sort of sound, so he just nods. Victor’s face disappears from view now, followed by his legs. He assumes the other has mounted Zacian, judging by the noises he hears, and just like that the two take off.
Hop lays his head on the ground. It must be cool, riding a legendary like that. He isn’t sure how he got Zacian to let him do so in the first place. Did the Pokémon motion for him to get on? He can’t tell from down here. He can’t tell much of anything besides the pain coursing through his leg.
A small whimper nearby catches his attention. He turns his head once more to find Zamazenta laying flat on the ground in front of the gap, eyes set on Hop. Its ears are tilted downwards, and if he didn’t know any better, he’d say it looks pretty sad. Sad for… him? He can hardly believe it, mostly because he would’ve never expected such an old and battle-hardened creature to feel mournful towards him.
They stay like this for an indeterminable amount of time. He isn’t sure how long it’s been, but it’s been long enough his leg is starting to go numb. Is that bad? Is that a sign of it getting worse? He doesn’t know, but at the very least he manages to find some smidgen of relief in the numbness.
There are voices now. They’re far away and difficult to make out, but he hears them. Zamazenta immediately gets to its paws, taking off in the direction of them. Only moments later, the voices have arrived, now close enough for him to parse.
“He’s right here,” Victor says, though he’s not visible from where he’s standing.
“Got it. Leon’s lil bro, you awake? Make any sort of noise if you can.”
It takes an embarrassingly long time for Hop to recognize that voice, but once he does he knows it to be that of Raihan’s. No wonder Victor found him first. He must have been aiding in the evacuation and protection of the city, considering he is the Gym Leader here.
“Yeah,” Hop responds, and he hates how small he sounds. He feels small, too, trapped underneath the debris of the tower and unable to move. He’s awake though, and more importantly– by some miracle– alive.
“Good. I’m going to have Duraludon and Turtinator lift this up, so don’t move when that happens, okay? This is going to take a while, but I promise we’ll get you out.”
This is the most serious he’s ever heard him speak, he realizes. Even during his battle against the other, he had never adopted such a tone, always retaining some of that… Raihan-ness he has. Something between a mix of cocky and playful, or during a heated battle, wild and untamed. There’s none of that here.
So, he remains still as the two dragon types move the slab and the arduous process of freeing him commences.

Pokemon Masters EX: my thoughts on Legendary Adventures [unfinished]
I'll go in order.
Also I have a general headcannon than the main reason so many legends are showing up is because they want to check out this man made island with all these powerful trainers. So unless the story proves otherwise, I'm just going to assume that.
Zamazenta
Pretty good! Of course I'm a big fan of the giant freaky skeleton dragon, so seeing it appear is cool. It feels a bit off though that the story in which I get Zamazenta is more focused on a different legend.
Also Sigma suit Leon at the end looks cool af and I wish I had him because he and Eternatus make such a cool pair. I wish I got them from this story rather than Hop and Zamazenta. Or at least I would prefer Zacian to Zamazenta. But getting another steel type is nice at least, I could really use some.
Anyway the idea of Eternatus showing up and being weak without an energy source and needing help is neat. And I think it's cool that Leon decides to help it and formed a sync pair with it.
World building wise it's interesting seeing the professor's bring up the fact that the sync stones and mega stones must have something in common because they can both cause mega evolution. And that they could potentially also cause dynamaxing. Suggesting that all these things may have some sort of common energy to them.
I wonder if Z-Moves and the new Terastlization could be included in that at all. It would be neat if the gimmicks were all kinda connected.
Solgaleo
For sure the weakest story. It wasn't really much of a story at all. Main Character and 2 friends walk up a mountain because people are talking about loud roaring coming from the top, and also to see the sunrise.
Anyway the roaring was Solgaleo. A bunch of other trainers are at the top of the mountain as well. Solgaleo is really jiving for a good battle so it's just battling everyone there like nonstop, including Main and Friends.
Eventually Solgaleo has had enough so Main and Friends leave but it follows them and befriends Main.
I think it's interesting that it bonds w/ the player character rather than someone else. Because all these other legendary sync pairs are characters from various already existing stories. So I'm like, why this legend? Why bond it w/ Main and not some other character?
Anyway I wish it was Lunala. I don't really care about getting Solgaleo outside the fact that I could really use more steel types.
Xerneas
This was actually the 1st one I did, in part because I really love Xerneas's design, but also because I could really use more fairy Pokemon. Also I like Sycamore, so it's cool to have him on the team.
So Xerneas shows up on the island, Sycamore is like: Let's go check it out. At the same time apparently he's aware that Lysandre is on the island and he has some guys who are disableing some bomb he made. We don't find this out until the end though.
We know he was talking on the phone about something serious. And it's like a Chekov's gun because it comes back at the end to foil Lysandre's plans. I liked that, it was simple but done well I think.
Lysandre is just as Thano's like as ever. He's still got his whole "We need to kill people for population control" Which is pretty fucked up, but at the same his wording always comes off as kind of goofy to me. His whole "Let's keep the world beautiful" has always been such a strange way to say "Let's do some genocide"
Anyway Xerneas was nice what with counteracting Yveltol's whole... death aura(?). So people would stop choking. And I guess it thought Sycamore was a chill dude so it was like "imma stick with you"
anyway, good time I enjoyed it.
Kyurem
Oh boy, I gotta say this one was more favorite! I love Silver, and I love N. And woof, these poor boys have some daddy issues. 1st loseing a match to a father-son duo and then later having their dads show up and be asses.
N was hopeful and Ghetsis is an ass for playing with his feelings. Really goes to show how much of an ass Ghetsis is. And what he says to N at the end of the story, wow. Poor N. It was pretty jarring that right afterward the story ended and I recruited Ghetsis. An example of story and gameplay not matching up.
Y'know I never really thought about pairing Silver and N together before, but honestly it makes so much sense. They have the similar issue of having a villain as a parent, and they were both antagonists in their own right from the games they came from.
N really took some high ground when defending Kyrem, and by extension Ghetsis, from Giovanni.
And I like it when the game locks me in to using certain characters, wish it would do that more, I like the challenge.
Anyway though, that part w/ the 2nd Kyurem? WTF Already I'm having a hard time with why there are both normal ledgendaries and some shiny legendaries around. This one isn't even shiny! I had the same reaction as Ghetsis here of "what the hell, that shouldn't be possible" and the game kind of acknowledges that but not really. Nate (or was it Hilbert?) just says "yeah I thought that was weird too, the Pokemon world sure is strange" and just kinda shrugs it off. Not a good enough explanation for me, I'll say.
One more thing, did they forget Reshiram? I mean after Nate's Kyurem fused with Zekrom, Ghetsis acted like "that's it, my plan's are foiled!" While there's an entire fuseable dragon just sitting in storage, you could have grabbed that one Ghetsis. And none of the main characters mention Reshiram at all afterward. I can only assume that N grabbed Reshiram while leaving but there was truly no mention of it whatsoever.
[the rest of these are unfinished, I wrote all this stuff like half a year ago and I just want to get this out of my draft]
Palkia
Gotta say, the opening was kind of funny, the Kyurem story also had a funny opening in a similar vain. In both cases the villains just kind of shows up on Pasio and are like "where the fuck am I".
And Team Break see this guy with a fucking legendary, and are like "yeah we can take him". No you can't Team Break! You never do.
Rayquaza
Ho-oh
Probably my 2nd favorite story. I really love Silver!

What pokémon would the Isu have!
This is most certainly connected to our ongoing “Pokemon AU” where… we mostly just focused on Desmond’s Pokemon team because it’s clear who our favorite is. XD
So… this won’t be complete teams and I’m just going for the Pokemons I kinda know (disclaimer: I’ve only finished 1 Pokemon in my entire life: Red and I used to remember the Pokemon rap for Gen 1 but not anymore XD)
A few of these picks are from the Pokemon AU reblog thread with @thewolfprince
Also a few legendaries here because the Isus are an ancient powerful race and they’re self-centered and arrogant enough to have legendaries.
Let’s start with the Capitoline Triad we know:
Minerva:
Because they’re the main Isus we know from the Desmond saga games, they will have the first legendaries, the Kanto legendary birds. For Minerva: Articuno, mainly because of Articuno’s Galarian form becomes Psychic type (which can be a reference to how she used Ezio to contact Desmond)
Absol: @saberamane mentioned in our discussion of which Pokemon Desmond could have that Absol has the whole 'sensing disasters' thing and tries to warn people which Minerva did try to do by leaving a message to Desmond via Ezio.
Gothitelle because it can predict the future and, apparently, can see the lifeline of its trainer (more reference to Minerva’s part in Desmond's life)
From @zero-saito: Zygarde since they are observers of nature and calamity
One of Athena’s most known symbols is the shield so… maybe Zamazenta or, if you don’t want her to have another legendary, Shieldon
Noctowl: Another symbol usually associated with Athena is the owl
Tinia:
Legendary Kanto Bird: Zapdos, Tinia is also known as Jupiter and Zeus, so he gets the thunder type legendary bird.
Aegislash (Aegis is the name of Zeus’ shield BUT Aegis is also usually associated with Athena/Minerva as well but Minerva already has a lot of Pokemons so yeah. Aegislash can be either Minerva’s or Tinia’s)
These Pokemons are related to the animals Zeus turned himself into for… sexy times: Tauros (bull) and Swanna (swan)
Juno:
Legendary Kanto Bird: Moltres because the Galarain form becomes Dark type which does have a Pokedex entry of “Victims become burned-out shadows of themselves.” which can be applied to Clay.
Quaquaval: Apparently peacock is a sacred animal of Hera
Okay, so these next ones are based on Juno and Aita’s Olympos Project so these Pokemons can be Juno’s and/or Aita’s:
Dusknoir (Cyclops)
Tangela (Gorgon)
Tauros??? (Minotaur)
Shinx… maayybbee??? (Sphinx)
Dugtrio or Dodrio (Cerberus… look, there’s no three-headed canine-like Pokemon XD)
Lycanroc (Midnight Form) or Lycanroc (Dusk Form) (Werewolf)
Machamp (Hekatonchires… it’s the closest I could find XD)
Any Pokemons belonging to Aita will also be Pokemons his Sages will have.
For the Valhalla Isus, I’m just gonna focus on Odin and Loki:
Odin:
Legendary Beast: Raikou
Corvisquire for his ravens (evolves as a Corvknight when Eivor gets it)
Loki (Aletheia too for Fenrir, Midgarsormen and Hel):
Legendary Beast: Suicune
Rapidash (Sleipner)
Poochyena for baby Fenrir… keep him as Poochyena. Possible alternative: non-Midnight version of Lycanroc
Serperior or Seviper (Midgardsormen) or, if you want to go Legendary, Rayquaza
Froslass for Hel, as a reference to her ruling over Niflheim (also dual type ice and ghost - Hel rules over those who died of sickness or old age)
Sidenote: Tyr gets Entei

Welcome to another long-ass post by yours truly! Today we're talking about my personal favourite Pokemon I think are most aesthetically pleasing from the ones I've got at my disposal since I saw these lists online and figured I'd do my own, with my own Pokémon
(there will likely be spoilers for the new Pokemon Snap, the Pokemon sword/shield crown DLC and that stuff.)
(photos are taken by me and are mine, thanks for reading btw <3)
-----------
No. 1
First, let's start with the OG beautiful Pokemon; Milotic. The creature is called the "Tender Pokemon," They sound beautiful just from that pokedex name alone, don't they?
Tumblr media
The Pokemon originates from Gen III and is indeed a beautiful Pokémon- Besides in mannerisms, its graceful with its movements generally and makes an appearance in the Pokemon Snap for the Nintendo Switch.
------------
No. 2
Next up, second place is Xerneas. My first ever caught legendary and is absolutely gorgeous in general, even without my bias. The Pokemon brings everlasting life when its antlers glow colors and can sometimes undo its counterpart's destruction. Sounds like a magical and beautiful Pokemon as well that's because it is.
Tumblr media
The Pokemon originates from a game of its own called "Pokemon X" for the 3DS/DS (Gen IV) (It appears in the New Pokemon Snap and is a part of the ending of the game)
-----------
No. 3
In third place is Suicune. Another gorgeous Pokemon, this Pokemon is the embodiment of the rain that took out the rain of the Brass Tower and is said to be the also embodiment of the northern wind/Borealis and the compassion of pure spring water. Quite a Pokemon, hey?
Tumblr media
Normal form
---------
Tumblr media
Paradox form was introduced in Gen IX for a limited-time event
--------
Originating from From Gen II it is also the mascot of the game, Pokemon Crystal and appears on the game's boxart. He also got a paradox form which was an event called "Walking Wake" Suicune also appears in the New Pokemon Snap after you finish the game and get the credits but if difficult to take photos of due to it being quick (It appears in the New Pokemon Snap after the credits roll and you finish the game)
----------
No. 4
Gardevoir, ah Gardevoir, one of the most simped Pokemon for its female appearance and graceful movements and cute animations- its pokedex name is "Embrace Pokémon," Not much is said about it from me as I just think it's pretty, but others think otherwise of it
Tumblr media
The Pokemon originates from the III Gen and got the fairy-typing alongside its psychic one in Gen IV. (This Pokemon appears in Pokemon Snap too alongside Pokemon Unite)
-----------
No. 5
I think it'd be illegal to not mention the best fairy type currently, Zacian. An absolute darling who is likely to be a female which people debate due to its pokedex entry. It is the counterpart/sibling to Zamazenta who together make the hero duo who worked alongside the king to end the darkest day.
Tumblr media
This Pokemon is a steel-fairy type without its weapon it's just a lone fairy type and also out of battle. This cutie is the mascot of Pokemon Sword which is Gen VIII. (Zacian doesn't appear in Pokemon Snap but is in Pokemon Unite)
-----------
No. 6
Next up is Articuno, both Galarian and normal as both are gorgeous in their own rights and ways and I don't have much to say besides they're pretty :D
Tumblr media
Galarian form
-------
Tumblr media
Kanto/original form
------
The Pokemon originates from Gen I and in Gen VIII it gets an upgrade to a psychic-flying type instead of its original Ice-flying typing (Articuno appears in Pokemon Unite)
------------
No. 7
Next up is Lunala! I actually own a statue/figurine of both of the Alola legendaries from a few years back, which I still have, but I'm getting sidetracked majorly- The Pokemon is known as the "Moone Pokemon" and is the emissary of the moon, its wings are gorgeous which is an understatement in and out of itself.
Tumblr media
This bat Pokemon is the female counterpart to Solgaleo who is its supposed male counterpart, she was introduced unannounced and was introduced with context a month or so later and is the mascot of "Pokemon Moon" for the 3DS and is from Gen VII- she comes from Nebby/Cosmog. (She also has a Full moon phase where an eye appears on her forehead- and no, she doesn't appear in any games like Snap or Unite :p)
--------
No. 8
Everyone probably saw this coming, didn't they?? It's Hatterene. A beautiful pastel-colored fairy type who will beat your ass if you live 30 miles from a forest where a Hatterene lives because you got angry you stubbed your toe and cursed Arceus' name. Or maybe because she hates the fact people are making her the new Gardevoir of simping, who knows? Cause I sure as fuck don't or want to.
Tumblr media
She was introduced in Gen VIII and is the female counterpart of Grimmsnarl who share no real evolutionary line to but is still related. (She doesn't appear in Pokemons Snap or Unite)
--------
No. 9
Ninetales is a gorgeous fox who got mixed up with a wolf at some point by people? But nonetheless, some would want to fuck and others would like to take a nap with the creature because it looks very fluffy and warm to the touch (probably just me) but regardless, she's on this list
Tumblr media
Alolan form
------
Tumblr media
Kanto/normal form
-------
She was introduced in Gen I and has been a favourite amongst people since the beginning. She has another form from Gen VII which is gorgeous and you can only catch it in Pokemon Sun. It has a blue/white coat and is very fluffy and her hidden ability is "Snow Warning"
-------
No. 10
I'm probably biased on this but the second to last spot as this is already long enough is Miraidon. I just think the Pokemon is gorgeous whether I stand alone on it or not doesn't matter to me I have a huge thing for robots as I've always been intrigued by them and no offence to Koraidon or people who love it since I rarely see any fans of the Electric type counterpart but it looks cooler, plus the colour scheme doesn't look so... Odd? Hard to pinpoint the word for that.
Tumblr media
The electric-dragon duel-type legendary was introduced in the most recent game, Pokemon Violet. Which was published in November of 2022 as the future version/counterpart of Koraidon and their generation is Gen IX
--------
And finally No. 11
Calyrex! The Kind of the Galar region, and the region got the king wrong. He isn't an actual human but rather a Pokemon! And honestly, I figured it was likely a Pokemon anyway. But regardless- he helped stop The Darkest Day alongside Zamazenta and Zacian. He was introduced in the Crown DLC and was, and is loved, by the residents of Freezington and can speak to the player via another human (Peony) or via telepathy which we see when we catch him.
Tumblr media
He was introduced in Gen VIII with the Crown DLC and is a Psychic-grass type, but can be a Psychic-ice or Psychic-ghost type when with his steed. You can pick between two steeds, I went with the ghost-typed one called Spectrier but there is an Ice-type one. It just depends entirely on where you plant the seeds for its carrots.
--------
And that's my list of Pokemon I think are aesthetically nice. I hope I didn't offend people, especially with the Miraidon one- I enjoyed making this list and I hope people enjoy looking through my favourite aesthetically pleasing Pokemon with me and I will make a second list as this is long enough
