astro observations #4
- The idea that your north node = fate and destined path doesn’t feel accurate. After all, north node aka rahu is literally illusion and material obsessions and is also considered a malefic in multiple astrological circles. I find it to be more of an indicator of what our fantasies and guilty pleasures may be.
- People with prominent Leo/Aquarius axis tend to focus their astrological study on their personal placements from what I noticed. As they get deeper however, they start to venture into what other placements might be like. But for most part, the focus tends to be on their placements first.
- 7th/8th house placements tend to be the opposite, being very curious to know why people around them, their role models, and others in general act the way they do and therefore using astrology to understand that
- 9th house placements are the ones who study every placement just for the sake of it or out of curiosity, some 3h placements might also
- Taurus + Leo = curly hair
- Taurus placements, especially if aspecting Lilith or mars or coupled with mars ruled placements, tend to be into vampires bc throat (Taurus) and blood and injury (Mars) as well as the seductive/taboo nature of vampires (Lilith)
- 3h Saturn/ 3h in Capricorn might take quite a while to get their drivers license
- What others tend to say about u : 3h from 7h : aka the 9h.
e.g. 9h in Aquarius : people talk about how you’re unique, popular or friends with a lot of people, humanitarian. They might also discuss how you’re eccentric, disconnected or apathetic.
- Whatever houses are ruled by Venus in your chart can give you an idea of how your relationships impact you as well as how you behave when in a relationship.
e.g. Libra risings have Venus ruling their first and eighth house, they tend to have very transformative relationships that end up changing them completely. They might also benefit from personal glow-ups during certain relationships thanks to their partner’s resources. Opposite can be true with weak Venus or malefic influence on the houses of Venus.
- 8h is underrated as an intelligence indicator. That’s the house of research, uncovering mysteries, and finding out the hidden. If one of the most common intelligent tropes -detectives and mad scientists- work within 8h themes, that is for a reason
- 6th house Lilith could indicate suffering from eating disorders.
- I noticed that even people who don’t know anything about astrology (sometimes especially them lol) tend to have markers of their signs all over their online presence. my ardra stellium bf has pearl as his username (ardra is symbolized by the diamonds and jewelry), a lot of shatabisha (especially the men) like wearing bracelets and rings (reminiscent of the empty circle that symbolizes shatabisha) etc.
- 10th house could signify what traits do you have that are different or stand out from ur family. For example, Jupiter in the tenth house could mean different beliefs, maybe a taller build compared to your parents, I also see it as which members of your family do you resemble the most. 10th house Jupiter might look like their grandparents while 10th house sun their dad, and moon their mom etc.
- Saturnian tend to be gatekeepers because Saturn = scarcity and limitations.
- 4h mars/sun could indicate having more close male friends n vice versa for 4h Venus/moon.
- Sun nakshatras and ashwinis look really good when the sun is shining on them. They might be particularly fond of golden hour selfies.
- 11h synastry can indicate starting a business together, whether it’s benefics or malefics will indicate if the business will succeed or not.
- Lacking aspects to the luminaries can mean feeling disconnected from your parents, as if there’s a certain distance between you and them that can’t be bridged. An empty 3h + unaspected 3h lord can also indicate feeling that way towards your siblings.
- A strong Mars + Venus = good dancer. Also prominent dhanista and snake yoni Nakshatras (Rohini, mrigashira).
- Anna Popplewell and Nancy ajram look similar and I found they have quite the similar placements besides both having nodal (Ardra/Mula) and Saturnian (Uttara Bhadra/Anuradha) influence.
Nancy Ajram (Top) : Jupiter in Anuradha, Sun DK in the first Degree, Sun and Mars in Krittika, Ketu in Mula.
Anna Popplewell (Bottom): Venus in Anuradha, Sun DK in the first degree, Jupiter in Krittika, Sun, Mercury, and Saturn in Mula.
this is it for today <3 please don’t hesitate to share if any of this resonates!

VEDIC ASTRO OBSERVATIONS
Part 3
More random and messy but still true
DISCLAIMER: if you consider some of these positive and others negative, then I want you guys to know that they come from my personal observations of real life. None of the nakshatras are better or worse, or positive or negative, these are just aspects of them, but nevertheless, true.
Magha people can have such an ego omg like I've said that before with rat yonis but P.Phalguni I think is nowhere near Magha in that department. Ashwini can also come off as egotistical, but it's moreso that they're unintentionally(or sometimes, intentionally) ignorant. Mula can also have egotistical tendencies, esp cause the galactic center(the black hole) is in Mula nakshatra, so they can have this "I'm the center of the world" attitude, but in my experience it manifests as just them mainly trusting themselves. All Ketu nakshatras have this theme of going inwards and shutting the world out, but since Magha is in the Sun ruled Leo (sun=ourselves, confidence) it can come off as undeservedely egotistical, different from Ashwinis aggressively(Aries/Mars) ignorant and Mula's relentlessly preachy(Sagittarius/Jupiter).
The Ashlesha to Jyeshta pipeline is actually very obvious, they're more connected than people realize. Obviously they're both Mercury nakshatras, but Ashlesha is often seen in a very sensual, feminine light and Jyeshta in a no-nonsense, cut to the chase light. The difference is that all that bottled up energy of Ashlesha, that was either healing or poisoning the native is ready to fight and be more direct in Jyeshta. They're both laser focused on survival and protecting themselves, desperately trying to realize themselves in the proccess, so it's a struggle. Both are trying to preserve their energy, but Ashlesha was trapped in the confines of the 4th house(family, roots, mother) and the sign of Cancer/Moon(emotions, fliudity, sensitivity), either for its safety or to its detriment, and was trying to get their energy out in a correct way. Jyeshta is out in the open, thrown in the sign of Scorpio/the 8th house/ passive Mars (transformation, rebirth, purging, sex, death, warfare, survival, defence. You and the other are one and the same in the 8th house). For Jyeshta, the only way to survive, is to win over everyone else, and when they eventually win, they gain dominion over others. So Jyeshta is kind of about revisiting that Ashlesha state and having the revenge, so to speak, because after gaining strength on your own, you eventually have to face the ones who you were so desperately trying to get away from(ashlesha).
Mulas can be so gentle and honestly at first I did not know where that came from, but since the last third of nakshatras are about transcending and mastering their ruling planet in a sense(btw, that does not mean that they embody the energy of the planet more, or that they're better) and Ketu is about primal instincts, then Mula is the place where the individual centers themselves in their truth and is unmoved by others, thus, avoiding unnecessary energy drainage. Of course, they can also be the most untamed of all, but in our civilized(mostly🙁) society, their natural demeanor is extremely calm.
Chitra natives are soooooo chaotic like calm down jesus. It makes sense when your consider that its gunas are TTT(tamas, tamas, tamas). Among the planets, Ketu is the most tamasic one(Chitra's ruler_Mars is also tamasic), but each nakshatra has their own guna(Ashwini is Rajas x3, Bharani is Rajas-Rajas-Tamas, Revati is Sattva x3, you get it). So Chitra people are the most chaotic, if I may say so. (Gotta credit The Hidden Octave's Chitra video for the observation). There are a lot of indicators that explain this but I've already written a lot in the previous ones😭 if you know basic vedic, this observation is of no surprise to you. They can also be prone to anxiety, but often they're unaware of it, so that has a detrimental effect on people around them.
Uttara Bhadrapadas are VERY hard to order around. Impossible even. Idk why someone would want to order someone else around but nevertheless, these natives can deal with any kind of unfairness with such grace, self-mastery and quiet strength that eventually nothing gets to them anymore. So if you see an U. Bhadra child disobey their superiors calmly and in a controlled but determined manner, you know why.
I really have a lot of respect for Uttara Ashadas(not all, lmao), because they just deal with stuff alone. And it's natural for them, and they don't do it for a goal(like in Jyeshta, which is not bad, it's just different) or for attention, it's just a way of life for them. Simplicity and stoicism 🤌
Okay, now a fun one: Moon girls (Rohini, Hasta and Shravana) are the blueprints of Y/N. If you guys don't know what Y/N please look it up. Not just Y/N, but characters like Bella Swan(hasta moon, rohini asc actress) and Elena Gilbert(shravana moon anctress) come to mind. Even popular instagram users who parody those movies/fanfics/characters have moon placements(@laframbuesaa_ rohini moon if i remember correctly and @yasmine_sahid_ shravana moon(?) on insta). Even Harry fcking styles, who is probably the most common love interest in those fanfics has hasta moon. If you know a little about nakshatras, this makes sooo much sense. Moon is something that masses can understand and digest easily, so it's not complicated and sometimes, it can verge on delusions(or an insane sensitivity and receptivity and the ability to read between the lines, but that's just for a number of their natives). Other nakshatras that can fall into the Y/N trope are venus and ketu nakshatras, but moon is the most classic example of it.
I want confirmation in the comments/reblogs for this one: Bharani natives love high fantasy, history(esp medieval), fantasy in general and/or just everything/anything with that vibe. Cause I'm bharani moon and I do, and I've seen some other examples. If not, then the Bharani natives themselves seem like they're out of those times/stories. I can't explain it in any other way. (This might be true for Bharani Ketu too.)
Alright, this is all. Reblog, comment, like. Interact please
Take care

A Basic Guide to Vedic Astrology
I think many of you are new to Vedic astrology, so I thought I'd give a little intro to some of the concepts, terminology etc
First and foremost, Vedic astrology dates back to 5000 BC - 10,000BC, which means it only takes into account Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and the 2 nodes of the Moon, Rahu & Ketu along with your Ascendant. Outer planets like Uranus, Neptune, Pluto along with asteroids are NOT calculated as most of them were discovered only in the last 2-3 centuries.
A conjunction takes place when two planets are placed in the same nakshatra within 5 degrees of each other. Even if they are placed more than 5 degrees apart, so long as they are in the same nakshatra, they can to some extent be considered as conjunct (the effect will be less potent than an exact conjunction basically) BUT if you have Sun in Ashwini and Venus in Bharani, you DO NOT have Sun conjunct Venus in Aries, that is NOT how it works. Those two nakshatras have entirely different themes, mythologies, purposes, deities, planetary influences and lessons, how on earth can they be considered "conjunct"???
That said, wherever you have a conjunction in your chart will have a major influence on you. It is a very potent energy. Dont ask me if having Saturn conjunct Ketu in Ashwini makes you a Saturnian or a Ketuvian because that's not the point, its that those two planets have a specific relationship with each other in your context and to understand the functioning of one, you must look at the other (along with its placement, aspects etc etc)
There are 12 rashis, corresponding to zodiac signs and each rashi is divided into 2 or more lunar mansions called "nakshatras". If you've wondered why say Arieses all act so different, its because they're either UBPs or Revatis in their Vedic chart, contributing to vastly different personalities.
In Vedic astrology, we have the concept of 7 charakarakas all of which indicate a different purpose:
Atmakaraka aka the soul indicator. it is the planet at the highest degree and represents your soul/being. its your compass and points towards the calling of your soul
2. Amatyakaraka, it typically points to your career/profession and works alongside your atmakaraka. it is the planet at the second highest degree
3. Bhratrukaraka (planet at 3rd highest degree) points to relationships with siblings
4. Matrukaraka ( planet at fourth-highest degree in your chart) signifies your relationship with your mother or maternal figures. It represents the nurturing qualities within you and helps illuminate your connection to your mother or motherly figures in your life.
5. Putrakaraka (planet with the fifth-highest degree in your chart) reveals your approach to parenting and your potential for creativity. It provides insights into your connection with your children and your capacity for artistic expression.
6. Gnatikaraka (the planet with the sixth-highest degree in your chart) indicates obstacles and adversaries in your life. It reflects your ability to overcome challenges and confrontations, making it a valuable guide for navigating life’s hurdles.
7. Darakaraka (the planet at the lowest degree) it is associated with your spouse and romantic relationships. It uncovers the qualities you seek in a partner and offers insights into how you relate to your significant other. Understanding the Darakaraka can provide clarity on your love life and partnerships.
HOW TO STUDY NAKSHATRAS:
Read about the mythology behind your nakshatras. This helps shed light on its nature.
Look at your nakshatra's yoni consort. Read about what the yoni animal symbolically represents
Similarly, read about your nakshatra's deity, ruling planet, other naks under the same planetary influence etc
There are 4 purusharthas (aka motivations) in vedic astrology according to which nakshatras are classified. understanding the different classifications behind each nak helps us understand its nature better
similarly naks can also be classified by their ganas which describe the nature of these naks:
Deva = godly, Manushya = humane, Rakshasa = demonic
if you have a rakshasa gana nak, it does not mean you're a demon. it just points towards traits like selfishness, lack of generosity etc AND the person you are is sum of your whole chart, not just the gana of one nak, so don't beat yourself up
Naks are also classified on the basis of their qualities of which there are 7
they can also be classified on the basis of caste:
(all tables, pyramid etc by me so any mistake is mine oopsies)
4. Chart Ruler
The ruling planet of your ascendant sign is your lagna lord. If you're Mrigashira Rising, then your lagna lord is Mercury/Venus (based on whether your nak falls into the Taurus portion or the Gemini portion).
5. Navamsa or D9 chart
Look at your D9 after you've studied your D1 otherwise it'll feel like too much info you don't fully understand. Navamsa is consulted along with your D1/Birth chart. you can think of it as D1 promises certain things and D9 is if/how those things materialise. its like part 1 and part 2 of a story
I can't think of anything else that should be covered🤡but if you have doubts you can ask!!
I hope this was helpful!!

Vedic Astrology - Future Spouse Prediction: Appearance part 1
When making predictions about the appearance of the spouse we need to look at both charts, the D1 Rasi and the D9 Navamsa. And in both charts we look again at the 7th house, because the 7th house in the D1 represents the 1st house (the face/appearance) of the spouse, and the 7th house in the D9 as well but the traits are more intensified. It will give you more precise descriptions of your spouse.
What we need to look for is:
Step 1
Which planets are present in the 7th house (if planets are present in the 7th house, then those planets will have a signifant influence in the traits of the spouse, not only appearance wise but also personality wise. Especially the Nakshatra placement of the planets in the 7th house. You will have to look at the traits of that Nakshatra. Now, if no planets are present in the 7th house, you gotta look at the 7th house lord, the planet that rules over the sign in the 7th house and where that planet is placed. I came to realize many times that in case of an empty 7th house, the ruling planet of that house acts weak in its characteristics and draws traits from the sign and Nakshatra where it's placed in. And this I have seen prominantly in appearance analysis.
For example: A person has Gemini or Virgo as sign of the 7th house in their D9 chart. That makes Mercury the ruler/lord of the 7th house. Mercury makes someone skinny, petite, with a small or an angular face and very youthfull appearance but can also just give shortness in general, short feet/hands/fingers. With Moon or Venus influence on Mercury the skinnyness will lack, because it will give volume to the physique. Also they will look either very attentive and curious or zoned out, like their mind is always busy. If there is no planet placed in the 7th house, these traits of Mercury won't be as prominent. Then the spouse will carry maybe only one or two attributes of Mercury and will carry mostly the physical attributes of the Nakshatra where Mercury is placed.
Step 2
Also count in the influences of the planets that are placed in the same house as the 7th lord (in this case Mercury) if there are any present.
Influences of the Planets:
I have mentioned Mercury above. Moon and Venus, will give a voluptious, curvy body type in women and in men they may add some volume/roundness in the chest or booty. In women Venus and Moon can cause volume around the lower abdomen because of fertility reasons, especially in Nakshatra's which have a rat yoni, Magha and Purva Phalguni. Moon is strongly associated with motherhood, I've seen that in women it can result in a mother-like even 1-3 years older spouse (wife), where as in men it can result in a 1-3 years younger spouse (husband). But in both genders Moon will give a youthful and round face and big round eyes. Sun and Mars will give a muscular and toned body type in men and broad or stockier body type in women, especially for Sun in the upper body (shoulders, arms, back). Mars will enhance the muscles. Jupiter will give either tall height and slenderness or short height but stockiness and it also gives an elongated face shape. It can also give a prominent expansion in one specific body part which catches attention. Saturn is a tricky one... it can either give a mature and very serious and bony appearance or a young and non-aging appearance especially with Venus/Moon/Mercury aspects. But the maturity will be there, always. The maturity and age difference is what distincts Saturn from other planets, so you can definitely count that in, I have seen this in pretty much 98% of charts. Saturn also gives either thick, bushy brows or very thin, fine eyebrows. Another traits of Saturn is dullness in the skin tone, it can gives some greyness or paleness in the skin tone, also dryness in the skin or proneness to skin irritations like acne. And now this one is intetesting, the front teeth, they can either be very prominent and big or maybe crooked in some cases. Rahu and Ketu will give exoticness, unorthodox appearance, outside of the norm, characteristics which are considered non-traditional and foreign, different culture/ethnicity, unique sense of fashion, hair styles, tattoos, piercings. In women I have noticed with Rahu they tend to wear colored contacts (illusion) and apply lots of blush because here also the skin tone might be dull, especially under the eyes in the case of an solar eclipse (Sun-Rahu combination in the same house) Sun represents vitality and the eyes. With the eclipse, Rahu is taking that away, causing bluish/greyish tone under the eyes, which can result in women using too much blush (redness) in their makeup. With a lunar eclipse (Moon-Rahu combination in the same house) they may use too much highlighter to recreate that luminous glow.
Step 3
Look at the special traits of the Nakshatra where the 7th lord is placed in. There are plenty of videos on youtube by Indian astrologers who brake down all the secrets of each Nakshatra. And they are very accurate.
For example: In Jyeshta, a person will love wearing circular earrings, even multiple ones at once because of its symbol "the earring". Along with Anuradha they will have doe-like eyes, because of their deer yoni. Rohini and Mrigashira love wearing colored contacts especially in green tones because of their snake yoni. Revati have feet where their toes are spread just like the fins of fish. Ashwini and Shatabishak will have mascular thighs or calves because of the horse yoni. Chitra and Vishakha will either have freckles or many tiny beauty marks/moles on their face because of the tiger yoni. Chitra with the female tiger yoni is prone to have stretch marks somewhere on their body (hips/stomach/breast/arms). Mrigashira have a round/crecent/arrow shaped scar or a mark on their forehead, usually in the middle, giving a symbolic appearance like the third eye of Shiva. Magha and Purva Phalguni turn red (sunburn) before developing a tan, they are also prone to small burn accidents from cooking (with oil) and their hair will naturally have a redish undertone. Magha will have a prominent mole near their shoulder, symbolizing royalty they also keep their hair long, mostly noticible in men, but women keep their hair very long. Purva Bhadrapada will have an injured (generally are prone for injuries of the) left leg/foot or have a scar. They also are associated with twins, either they are a twin or have siblings who are twins (nothing to do with the looks but is an upfront trait). Hasta will have a golden glow to their skin, because of its deity Savitr (Sun God). Also an upfront trait, their name (meaning) will be strongly associated with sun or gold.
I've had a really hard time breaking this down, because it goes so deep and complex it wasn't easy to structure this analysis any better. I really tried to explain this in a comprehendable way possible. I hope it's not too all over the place. But yeah as you can see, it takes a lot of in deph understanding, especially when it comes to the Nakshatra's and their very specific secret traits. This was only very surface level. To find out more about the traits of the Nakshatra's you can watch videos on yt by KRSchannel or LunarAstro, and research on vedic astrology websites. If I remember anything important which I forgot to mention, I might come back and add them here again or maybe do a part 2 for this.
Thanks for reading🌺

Venus in Krittika: The Power To Separate🔪💔
Krittika, also known as "the Cutter" or "the Power to Separate," “to burn”, is a nakshatra associated with the themes of cutting, burning, and transformation. It belongs to the Rakshasa (demonic) group, which imbues it with aggressive, lustful, and sensual qualities. This nakshatra is influenced by Shukra (Venus), the guru of the Asuras (demons), enhancing its intense and passionate nature.
Krittika is split into two rashis: Aries and Taurus. When Venus is in Aries, it is considered to be debilitated. Even in Taurus, where Venus rules, the nakshatra's nature can still create challenges. This is because Krittika is a Sun nakshatra, and Sun and Venus are considered enemies in Vedic astrology. Also, the Sun exalts in Aries. The enmity between the Sun and Venus symbolizes the tension between spiritual duty and material pleasure, authority and harmony, selflessness and indulgence. While this placement is not exactly the same as having Venus combust, the overall energy and tension can feel quite similar.
The deity of Krittika Nakshatra is Agni, the lord of fire, and Kartikeya. 🔥It is an aggressive nakshatra, symbolized by a knife or razor with the intention of cutting. 🔪This is one reason why people with this nakshatra often excel as chefs or bladesmithings.
Those with Venus in Krittika are often prone to multiple relationships or marriages, as Agni had seven wives, and they may even be the cause of another couple's breakup. His Shakti is "to burn or consume in order to purify," using fire to remove impurities and reveal the truth. This is why affairs usually don't remain hidden when the third person involved has this placement. The power of fire can purify or destroy.
People with this nakshatra are driven by their sexual desires, much like Agni, who was cursed with insatiable lust after seeing the wives of the Saptarishis naked. The Moon is exalted at 3 degrees in this nakshatra, and those with dominant Moon energy often have tendencies towards infidelity, as I’ve mentioned.
Taurus is all about pleasure, and having Venus in this nakshatra can turn someone into a hedonist, driven by a desire to fulfill all their urges and obtain their absolute dreams. This can sometimes manifest in a greedy, egoistical manner.
Funny enough, the yoni consort of Krittika is Pushya, another nakshatra associated with cheating due to the conflict between Brihaspati and Soma over Tara, the wife of Brihaspati. Either way, people with Venus in Krittika tend to attract married people, now if they indulge in an affair or not, depends on them.🤷🏻♀️
1. Ariana Grande has her Venus in Krittika of Aries in the 5th house, which represents short romances and flings. Ariana Grande's love life pretty much sums up her songs "break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored”; “the boy is mine”. She's currently with Ethan Slater, whom she met while they were both married.
2. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard both have their Venus in Krittika of Taurus. Allegedly, when they started their relationship, both were in other relationships at the time. Throughout their marriage, there were accusations and evidence of infidelity. The darker side of this Nakshatra manifested in their tumultuous relationship, with incidents such as Johnny threatening that he will cut himself and him painting on walls with his blood.
3. Marlon Brando had his Venus in Krittika of Taurus in his 7th H. He was famous for his numerous affairs with both men and women. Even his ex-wife Rita Moreno, admitted that he cheated frequently during their relationship.
4. Henry VIII had his Venus in Krittika of Taurus in his D9 chart. He was known for marrying six times, starting with Catherine of Aragon, who was previously married to his brother. He pursued other marriages while still married. Anne Boleyn, his second wife, was famously executed by beheading in 1536 on charges of adultery and treason. He had his Venus in Rohini (the favorite wife) in his D1.
5. Russell Crowe, another individual with Venus in Krittika of Taurus in the 5th house, began an affair with Meg Ryan whom he met on the set of "Proof of Life" while she was married at the time.
6. Partynextdoor also, has his Venus in Krittika of Taurus in his D1 chart. Themes of infidelity frequently appear in his songs, such as in his song "SAVAGE ANTHEM."

02. BHARANI NAKSHATRA (13°20' ARIES - 26°40' ARIES)
Bharani nakshatra is the second nakshatra in Vedic astrology. It is completely located in the sign of Aries, representing creation and beginnings. Bharani nakshatra is being ruled by the planet Venus, which represents fertility, creativity and giving birth to new idea. The combination of Venus and Mars here makes this nakshatra about letting go of the past and starting something new. If you have Sun, Moon, Ascendant, chart ruler or Atmakaraka in this nakshatra, then we can say you have prominent Bharani nakshatra in your chart.
Bharani means She who bears and the main symbol of this nakshatra is a female organ vulva, representing pains, menstruation, giving the childbirth etc. This nakshatra relates to suffering, depression and struggling. Giving birth to new ideas is associated with Bharani nakshatra because giving the childbirth involves a lot of pain. There is also a sense of creativity and sexual energy here. This nakshatra is the Star of Restraint and the restraint is basically the synonym of limitations, control, moderation, formality etc. People with prominent Bharani nakshatra in their natal chart usually struggle in life, work very hard and they don't do any short cuts. Otherwise, they'll be punished. And here we are at the point of punishment!
The deity of Bharani nakshatra is Yama, the Hindu god of death, punishment and law. He values justice and social morality, judges the departed people/souls and takes them into the underworld. The another symbol of this nakshatra is a boat, representing the transition or transportation between life and death or even between past and future. Bharani nakshatra is related to endings, letting go of something it doesn't serve us anymore and moving into calmer waters, easier life. At the 20° of Aries in this nakshatra, there's a debilitation point of Saturn. Bharani nakshatra is about death, endings, but also about starting a new life, while Saturn relates only to death, darkness and endings. People who have prominent Bharani nakshatra work successfully as psychologists, doctors and lawyers since Yama, the deity of this nakshatra, is a god of law.
The yoni/animal of Bharani nakshatra is a male elephant, representing sexual energy, longevity and ancestral memory. Bharani nakshatra is about the ancestors too. The planet Sun is exalted in Aries and the Sun represents lineage. A lot of kids with this nakshatra in their chart usually follow the steps of their own ancestors, especially of their own father's steps. For example, you have the Sun in Bharani nakshatra, your father is a soccer player and you also become the soccer player in near future. The power of this nakshatra is the Power to renew, associating with starting over a new life.
Padas of Bharani nakshatra:
Pada 1 (13°20' - 16°40' Aries) - Leo
Pada 2 (16°40' - 20°00' Aries) - Virgo
Pada 3 (20°00' - 23°20' Aries) - Libra
Pada 4 (23°20' - 26°40' Aries) - Scorpio
For example, if you have the Moon in the 2nd pada of Bharani nakshatra in your birth chart (D1), you have the Moon in Virgo in your Navamsa (D9) chart. If you have Mars in the 3rd pada of Bharani nakshatra in your birth chart (D1), you have Mars in Libra in your Navamsa (D9) chart etc.
Celebrities with a prominent Bharani nakshatra in their chart:
Carl Jung - Bharani Moon
Cate Blanchett - Bharani Moon
Julia Fox - Bharani Moon
Lana Del Rey - Bharani chart ruler
Martin Luther King Jr. - Bharani Ascendant
Robert Pattinson - Bharani Ascendant
Mariah Carey - Bharani Ascendant
Katherine Hepburn - Bharani Sun
Megan Thee Stallion - Bharani Ascendant
Camila Cabello - Bharani Ascendant
George Clooney - Bharani Sun
David Beckham - Bharani Sun
Adele - Bharani Sun
Christina Aguilera - Bharani Moon

I have some things to say about claire nakti
I know she is your favourite nakshatra girlie, I like the information she puts out as well (I do not like her as a person), as it is original STATISTICAL research (rare in astrology) and extremely affirming to the reality i went through as a 14 year old girl encountering Ketu MahaDasha, having Jyeshtha Moon (I have jyeshtha ketu conjunct jyeshtha moon). She talked about Ketu, and Mula Lunar mansion in a way that i could confirm the stuff she says has a solid backing of truth in it.
Now,
I am extremely concerned for women who take her misogynistic and patriarchal teachings to heart, worship her, create a cult around her, and think letting yourself “go” and submitting yourself to a man will liberate you (no it will not). She clearly has said that women are the inferior gender. You cannot debate me on that.
Then, claire nakti is baby-like extremely feminine (annoying high pitched voice) & extremely mysterious w/ the way she jots information together. She definitely is moon dominant as she looks like adison rae (hasta sun & shravana moon) after her nose job 😂🫵🏻 who is moon dominant. Since she is into traditional gender roles, & is extremely "traditionally" feminine, that clearly adds up to her "female path course" & how she suggests hasta as a key nakshatra in the female path according to "HER"
And, the VERY nature of Moon, the feminine planet she relegates herself, & all other women to, being like a conduit for a force bigger than you (she makes it very clear in her shravana video), channeling information FROM them rather than being the originator of light, you essentially reflecting and channeling a worthy ascended master's light;
This doesn't help with the fact that she came outta NOWHERE with that EAGLE symbolism in the jyeshtha shorts, because I have seen no Vedic scripture ever mention eagle for the Scorpio rashi (or a "3rd symbol" of jyeshtha, like she mentioned)
And she has admitted that she has a "guru", AND she made a video about “sleeping with your guru”.
Combined with her misogynistic portrayals of women, her being equally ’feminine’, her admitting she has a guru, her making a video on having sex with gurus which is VERY odd to me. Her looking like Addison rae, a moon dominant woman, her saying that "copying" someone else's light is le bad UNLESS.... you're a ""woman"" because you're ""lunar"" so it's OK. Her looking like another hasta moon singer Grace Kinstler and a YouTuber called Elizabeth filips with hasta moon, this just affirms to me claire being moon dominant, and simply reflecting and communicating another MAN's teachings. Why don't we let claire nakti's misogyny backfire on her????????? Why are we not questioning her extremely unhinged slut behaviour online and her saying that women are yin so therefore can't originate something with so much fucking confidence. Why don't we boldly say she fucked some guru and is now acting like she did all the research by herself and how is SHE the sole instigator OF HER EXTREMELY pioneering work as a Vedic astrologer with so much original content, as this ditzy blonde who came out of absolutely nowhere.
She lied about the fact that she isn't the only person behind her research, she clearly admitted she met her guru few decades ago and she started compiling physiognomy data with him(???)
I will never worship claire nakti. I hate the "nakshatra bad bitches" that orbit her. I am extremely suspicious and strict with claire nakti and her content and i most CERTAINLY separate ""HER"" from the information she channels. She is nothing to me.
Get your fucking shit together and question claire nakti a bit harder. Certainly don't worship her. Anyone with more than 2 braincells can sense she is not the originator of the information she puts out, and is a patriarchal princess dickwhipped out of her mind by her """guru""". Don't let yourself go and embrace ditziness and thinking it will make you this “Yoni Shakti divine feminine tantra goddess consort bhairavi sacred prostitute🤪🤪🤪✨✨”
She also claims to have been this once in a generation talent but couldn't rectify the ayanamsha mistake in Lahiri. The fact that she thinks lahiri ayanamsha is OK (the default ayanamsha indians chose in a hurry so they can go on celebrating their festivals in 1900 and is actually in need of SEVERE updating) and has used wrong people who don't even have the nakshatra she has talked about in her video concerning a particular nakshatra, was the nail in the coffin for me, confirming claire nakti is moon dominant, has a guru she is parroting etc. Being a STEM person, keeping Astrophysics in mind, i have delved into Indian Ephemeris vs Swiss Ephemeris, the whole ayanamsha discourse and I can easily tell lahiri and the vimshottari dashas from lahiri are 3 years off and ALL the antar-dashas are EXTREMELY off, (this will make 90% of the people in Vedic community look like absolute fools and this should induce a BOILING rage in you, how easily people have the audacity to open their mouth and spread wrong information that will NOT stand the test of time.) Lahiri ayanamsha is astronomically incorrect. The fact that Ernst Wilhelm also felt this exact way was affirming to my own discoveries, just like claire nakti affirming the inhaling and uprooting nature of ketu to me as a young teenager.
No YouTube guru is going to save you (certainly not a "woman", i mean, claire nakti said it) There are many things to rectify, perfect and question.
Good luck.

Be grateful for all that you have. Be grateful for all that you have been blessed with. You may think you lack, but the truth says otherwise. You have the warmth of the sun, coolness of the moon, you have water to drink, you have food to eat, you can walk among beautiful scenery. You have all that you need, so don’t look for more. If you have a guitar, play a song instead of dreaming about building a boat. You have all that you need and more. Be creative, once you start focusing on what all you do have, you’ll feel much richer. I am hearing you should spend time with your mother, help her in her work, be sweet not rude, it will go against you. Walking in nature barefoot will bring you tremendous results, especially if you are having troubles with rahu or shani. If you are taking sone sort of therapy /any healing sessions it will be successful, in 3 months you’ll notice a difference. Give service to cows and animals in general, this good karma will bring you recognition and even fame for some of you. Some of you need to cut your hair, even just a little bit to let go of the energy. Others need to start sadhana and grow their hair out. REGARDLESS take good care of your hair, it’s important. Keep it braided if you need to conserve energy. Wear more orange and red, and don’t let a day go by without writing how you felt today, why you felt that way, and end it with a gratitude list. Not just you, I am seeing your entire family successful, if you have been considering a family business or have one, this is a good sign. Okay so listen, you know you have a choice, you have the choice to speak up your idea in the meeting, you have the choice to say ‘No’. You always have a choice. You are not tied down by chains, you are not tied down at all except by your mind. No cages exist outside your mind. It is your greatest friend and has the ability to be your greatest enemy too. How do you want it to serve you? That’s again a choice. Make the right one. Choose freedom. Choose expression. Don’t let others walk over you, tell them you have plans and you can’t help them today, its okay. HAVE THE COURAGE TO ASK FOR WHAT YOU WANT. If you never ask, you’ll never know. You think you don’t have much to offer so you become the person who doesn’t need anything, and that not doing anyone any good. DEMAND YOUR RIGHTS. Ask for what you want. You want your partner to come watch you play violin? ask him, have the courage. You are a lion then why do you pretend to be a sheep. You could be born in the year of the horse as well. Some of you are lion yoni. Behave like yourself, the more you astray, the more depressed you feel. You want adrenaline, and you are scared of the same. Trust me, if you let loose you won’t run wild and return home safe. You are somewhat terrified of what could happen if you let yourself be, since you’ve never been, you can’t comprehend and with the fear of uncertainty, so you are always on edge, to say what you actually want to but never do and they are out the door. Other have a pre-conceived notion of you that you want to keep, honey its not healthy you have to let that go before it swallows you complete. Your fire has been watered down, its time to bring it back. Comment ‘Mahadevi’ to Claim! 🌙 DM TO BOOK A TAROT READING 🌙
🥀333🥀 If you have been seeing a humming bird, or after reading this if you see one, don’t be surprised. They are a sign that you are taking everything too seriously, even things that shouldn’t be taken that way, you have forgotten to stop and smell the roses. It seems like you are someone who has a responsibilities on their shoulders, and you just can’t seem to relax. Between all things mundane, you have forgotten to keep track of your soul’s purpose. Many of you don’t know why you are here. You world is limited to the material realm. You are being told to take time out for honoring your soul’s purpose. One of them is ‘Joy’. You are not here to be in a low or neutral emotional state, you are hear to feel joy and spread joy. It could come from any number of things, from just taking a day off or making time for your hobbies or laughing your ass off. You are here to be curious and be filled with wonder and awe. All these responsibilities are making you anxious, you can’t sleep, you can’t eat, and all you do is think all the time, about business and about family and that’s all your life is, you aren’t even in there. I am not saying you shouldn’t focus here, you should these are key areas of life but take a step back, take some time for yourself. HEVAY BURN OUT ENERGY. This isn’t even burn out, you are toasted and done, most of this is coming from the fact that most of your day you do things put of compulsion, you don’t want to do them, but you do. Figure out how to honor your soul’s purpose, and find joy in things or simply do what brings you joy. There is work that need to be done within the family dynamic as well. One step at a time and step starts with you. Comment ‘Mahadevi’ to claim! 🌙DM to find your Soul’s Mission🌙

A Modern Woman, Indigenous Spirit Practice by India Ame’ye
In the warm sun for a few days, sunbathing the root/foundation of my reality, the ancient art of perineum-sunbathing…. 🍒
Benefits of yoni-perineum sunbathing :
Deeply grounds the body
Warms the reproductive/creative organs —healthy circulation brings more light up the spine and throughout the entire body —higher frequency/multidimensional fertility
Increases health of circulatory and immune systems—makes your skin more radiant and detoxified
Elevates the quality of your arousal and desire —increases libido which isn’t merely about sex, but about health and wellness and quality of creativity
Stimulates creative ideas
Increases overall health of the body with high vitamin d absorption—the root of the body is the most absorptive part of the body
Promotes deep relaxation
Increases intuition/divine energy/aids in opening the pineal gland
It’s time to take women’s health to a whole new level. Because I have high melanin content, I perineum-sunbathe for at least 45 minutes even though the “recommendation” is that you only do it for 5-10 minutes per day. Keep in mind that our world has never cared to study the healing and advancing properties of high levels of melanin, therefore if you are a brown or dark-skinned person, you must begin to be your own biologist, physiologist, and doctor, alongside any other doctors you may have and learn about the jewels of what it means to have been gifted with your body. Here is my personal secret of the universe: I deep breathe the warmth inside the root-tooter of my body slowly and imagine its warmth and light circulating around into my organs. Practices like this one are reasons that you should learn where your vital organs are located so that you can begin to play in your body in one of the highest capacities. Purchasing a simple human health and physiology book will work. One loveliness ❤️❤️❤️ —India Ame’ye

☋☋ ☋ मघा Magha Nakshatra मघा ☋ ☋☋
Past lives, ominous, traveling inward
Hughes Merle's Mary Magdalene in the Cave, 1868. The reptilian arms are not part of the original painting.
The Basics Ruling planet: Ketu Ruling deity: Pitris Yoni: Male rat Symbol: Royal throne
Rahu and Ketu We can't talk about Ketu without talking about Rahu as well. Rahu and Ketu are referred to as the lunar nodes in astrology. They aren't physical objects in space like Jupiter or Saturn. They are calculated points. However, for ease of communication, Rahu and Ketu are often referred to as planets anyways.
The lunar nodes are determined by the orbits of the sun and the moon. The intersections of the orbits of the sun and moon as apparent from Earth tell us the position of the nodes at a given time. It takes about 18 months for the nodes to journey through a single zodiac sign and about two decades for them to cycle through all twelve.
Image from Wikipedia.
Since the nodes are located where the sun and moon overlap as seen from Earth, they are associated with eclipses. Rahu (the north, or ascending node) swallows the sun during a solar eclipse and Ketu (the south, or descending node) swallows the moon during a lunar eclipse. We can further assume that the nodes are always exactly 180° apart, or opposite to, one another. If the north node is in Sagittarius, for example, the south node will always be in Gemini.
The nodes in astrology deal with karmic destiny. The nature of your south node placement shows who you were in a past life, what you have previously mastered and now know in your bones to be true. Your north node placement shows what you are working towards in this life, what you strive to accomplish, the lessons you are here to master.
Rahu and Ketu In Mythology According to Vedic mythology, Rahu and Ketu started out as one being, a demonic serpent called a rakshasa. They were separated into two beings as punishment. During a ceremony to honor the planets, Lord Visnu churned up the oceans to create a divine nectar for them to drink and become immortal. When the planets (or deities) lined up to drink, the demon snuck under Visnu's nose to drink some of the nectar for himself. Rahu/Ketu had already ingested the immortal drink before they were caught in the act - becoming accidentally undying. Furious, Visnu beheaded the demon but at that point it was too late. Rahu (the demon's head) and Ketu (the body) become two entities and were cast to opposite ends of the sky.
A depiction of a rakshasa (demon) done in Yakshagana, a traditional style of theater prominent in southern India. Image from Wikipedia.
Rahu, being the head, is arguably more responsible for the separation of the demon into two parts. As the head, Rahu is consumptive by nature. This is why one's natal Rahu placement indicates what they are after in this life. The devouring head symbolizes our insatiable desire to obtain more and become more.
Rahu's willingness to ignore boundaries to obtain the immortal nectar is telling - he has no regard for authority. He is not much of a leader himself, more so interested in mocking those holding positions of power. In this way Rahu is hypocritical because he attacks the character and methodologies of those in power yet he himself demonstrates childishness and irreverence. When he is rendered a head without a body, he is left an eternal troublemaker.
When separated from his head, bodily Ketu is doomed to forever long for his other half - reminiscent of the past being the past, something we can never go back to and simultaneously can't shake the memory of. We master our Rahu and Ketu by connecting our heads with our bodies - that is, by balancing past with future, applying ancient knowledge stored in the body to achieve future-facing objectives the head seeks to fulfill.
"Ketu's permanent longing for wholeness is a consequence of Rahu's excited refusal to respect conventional boundaries. As a result of Rahu's wildness, Ketu the Dragon-Tail Cauda Draconis is forced to gaze with eternally unsatisfied longing at His dear severed partner Rahu the Dragon-Head Caput Draconis." - Barbara Pijan Lama, Vedic astrologer based in Portland, Oregon
A makeup look done by smeyuka on Instagram. Note the grey/smokey tone of the face and red emphasis added to the eyes.
In Phaladeepika, a classical Sanskrit text on Vedic astrology, Ketu is described like this:
"Ketu is fiercly red-eyed, is venom-tongued (speaking venomously), and without a body or disembodied, he is violent (using weapons, wants to scare), and ignoble (low, fallen, no social contribution, uncultured, wild, intense), his complexion is smokey (ominous), he is a constant smoke drinker (using opium or marijuana), his body is covered in scars (not cooperative), not fatty (emaciated, thin, angular), and cruel (unforgiving)."**
** what is in paranthases are notes on different ways the text can be translated. Watch Vic Dicara's videos on Rahu and Ketu.

Some people think that what we experience as eclipses are actually Rahu and Ketu taking revenge for their separation. Eclipses are times of sudden change - when the sun is obscured by the moon or vice versa, the atmosphere on Earth is very different. Having witnessed the total lunar eclipse of 2017, I remember things turning a grey/yellow/brown hue, and the air taking on a kind of hazy quality (but I believe this was due to wildfires). If you have ever seen the movie Enemy with Jake Gyllenhaal, it looked like that.
Still from Enemy (2013)
Here is a description of a solar eclipse by Dr. Rick Feinberg, astronomer and science communicator (now retired):
"Measurements made at recent total eclipses put the illuminance at totality around 5 lux, comparable to civil twilight. The sky is still some shade of silvery, purply blue. In contrast, the black sky on a night of full Moon is 10 times darker still, less than 0.5 lux. Yes, bright planets –– especially Venus and Jupiter –– are obvious in twilight, but stars? I don’t like to waste valuable time during totality looking for stars; the only time I saw one was on August 21, 2017, when 1st-magnitude Regulus glimmered just to the left of the totally eclipsed Sun.
It certainly feels like it gets as dark as night during the final minute before totality, but that’s just because your eyes haven’t had time to adjust. The changes in illumination at the beginning and end of totality happen much faster and more dramatically than at dusk and dawn, respectively."
Image of the 2019 solar eclipse above the European Southern Observatory in Chile, taken by Mahdi Zamani.
Non-dualism and the Ouroboros The nodes are inseparable opposites, both two and one - like how the past and future becoming one in the present. In this way they demonstrate the concept of non-duality. Non-dualism is a philosophical concept observed in many spiritual and religious traditions, particularly ones that originated in the East such as Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism. The non-dual perspective holds that there is no fundamental separation - between objects, energy, people... it's all one.
“All things are permeated with God, just as all things are permeated with air.” – Hildegard of Bingen
Ketu's rulership over Magha suggests that people with heavy influence from this nakshatra in their birthchart are deeply spiritual and/or philosophical. If you think about Rahu and Ketu as being an axis - that is, talking about the same topics but having opposite opinions on them - Rahu expands outwards, forever seeking to consume and grow materially. Ketu expands internally. The expansion of Ketu looks like material poverty from the outside, but Ketu is not interested in earthly objectives. Rahu wants to grasp and Ketu wants to release. By releasing attachment to the physical, Ketu finds bliss.
Rahu's knowing is of the head. It is entirely cerebral. Ketu's knowing is bodily. That is, it is completely intuitive and feeling/sensory-based. In the world we live in, computational and logical thinking is (for better or worse) king. For this reason, if you have prominent Magha placements, I wouldn't be surprised if you feel like you either 1) don't belong in this world or 2) have been here before, perhaps many times over. Ketu, symbolizing past lives and knowledge gained from them, wanders the earth, aimless, forever drifting. He finds nothing on earth to be of substance.
While Ketu-heavy or Magha-heavy people can possess deep inner knowing that endows them with a certain type of respect, this same trait can be the source of an overly apathetic attitude when taken to an extreme. Detachment is all well and good, but unless you're truly the type to pursue a monastic or nomadic path, it's necessary to keep your feet on the ground at least a little bit to live in a well-rounded way. Ketu people are faced with a challenge to ground their intuitive knowledge and bring what they find on their travels inward out to the world around them.
One symbol that is steeped in unity and oneness is the ouroboros. Depicting a serpent or dragon devouring it's own tail, the ouroboros has appeared in ancient Egypt, Mexico, India, as well as Hermetic and Alchemical texts. The serpent chases its continually regenerating tail in an eternal circle, just as Rahu and Ketu are condemned to chase one another from opposite ends of the sky forever.
Two ouroboros symbols shown encircling a figure in An Enigmatic Book of the Underworld, funerary text and shrine discovered in King Tutankhamun's tomb. The figure has been speculated to be the mummified form of King Tut himself, while some think it is the unification of Ra and Osiris.
An Enigmatic Book of the Underworld is regarded as the place of the first appearance of the ouroboros, dating it to at least 14th century BCE. It is thought that the book illustrates the replenishing of the solar disc - the ancient Egyptians believed that the sun would use up all of it's heat and energy during the day and had to 'recharge' at night. At night, the Sun was said to pass through the same region of death where the gods were believed to reside. Their souls would follow the Sun as he cycled above and below the horizon while their bodies remained in the underworld. Time was seen as cyclical repetitions rather than a linear unfolding. The ancient Egyptian's understanding of time was based on their observations of recurring natural events like the Sun's daily journey across the sky and the annual flooding of the Nile.
An illustration of the ouroboros in an alchemical text from around 400AD.
The Alchemists believed that all physical materials on Earth originated from the same original source material and could be differentiated by their varying levels of purity. Gold was held as the most pure and 'perfect' form of matter, which is why the Alchemists sought to create it using lower quality metals such as lead - a process called chrysopoeia. The desire to create gold from crude materials that is central to Alchemy is largely metaphorical. The broader goal of the Alchemists was to evolve the human soul through deepening the understanding of one's self. The ultimate objective of alchemy was to transform personally into someone 'greater' than you were before. More knowledgeable, powerful, physically healthy or beautiful...
The Pitris The deities ruling Magha are the Pitris, spirits of the paternal ancestors of humanity - the word 'pitris' is Sanskrit for "fathers."
The word Magha can mean gift or it can mean power. As it relates to Magha nakshatra, it means gifted power - that is, inherited power. Each nakshatra has it's own associated sutra, which are kind of like condensed teachings. The translated sutra for Magha is "The forefather's gift of power needs demoralization, to ruin."
Vic Dicara explains the lesson of Magha nakshatra as illustrated in it's sutra - how to be victorious without getting wounded. The sutra for Magha is saying that the way to defeat your enemies is to prevent the battle from happening in the first place. And how do you do that? By bullying them, basically. Magha natives have the power of the forefathers (Pitris) behind them, which they brandish and threaten their potential opponents with. Before a single punch has been thrown Magha puffs out his chest, letting his opponent know that he has friends on the other side backing him up - think Dr. Facilier from the Princess and the Frog.
Magha's Yoni: the Male Rat The word "yoni" in Sanskrit refers to the vagina. The word can be used to refer literally to female genitalia, but it also has a deeper meaning relating to source material - the empty 'womb' out of which the universe materialized.
Each nakshatra has a corresponding yoni assigned to it. The yonis of the nakshatras describe their primal and sexual nature - how they behave when backed into a corner and the different ways they behave in the bedroom. In the vedic astrological system, the yonis are depicted as different types of animals - appropriate, considering the aspects of the human personality they attempt to describe and categorize.
Magha's yoni animal is a rat. Rats are inquisitive, playful and sociable by nature. They are intelligent and, as pets, trainable. They are hygienic, keeping themselves clean by grooming their tails, fur, and faces. They also do everything quickly - I've never seen a rat move in a leisurely way.
Rats are venerated at the Karni Mata temple in Deshnoke, India. Large saucers of milk are left out to keep them fed. The temple is a monument honoring the coexistence of life in every form - which is why rats are treated reverence here rather than seen as pests. Image by Paolo Bampani.
The rat signifying the primal nature of this nakshatra suggests a few things. We can easily surmise that Magha people are curious, likely quick-witted due to an above-average intelligence, and energetic. We can also guess that Magha people are adaptable - think about the poor conditions rats are able to survive in. An additional quality of rats which I think relates to Magha is their use of their whiskers to both balance themselves and maneuver around objects in their environment - they don't have the best eyesight and rely heavily on the sensitivity of their wire-y mustaches. This hearkens to Magha's bodily, ketuvian intelligence.
At first, the personality of the light-footed and friendly rat seems to clash with the ancient wisdom Magha has. When I think of someone in touch with their forefathers and past lives, I think of someone who moves slowly (literally and metaphorically), approaching and completing all tasks with patience, precision, and caution. The good-natured and hyperactive qualities of the rat combined with Magha's connection to protective (paternal) ancestors, dispersing and wandering ways of Ketu, and transforming power of the eclipse paints a particular personality profile. This is a person who has their head in the clouds and could rip you to shreds - if you provoke them first.
The Symbol of the Royal Throne Magha is considered to be an auspicious nakshatra - that is, it brings positive things to whatever planet is placed here. The rulership of the Pitris over Magha cements their innate power. It is one thing to be a powerful person because of the things you have accomplished, but when someone is powerful because of their ancestors has royalty in their blood. It can never, ever be taken from them because it is simply who they are.
Magha spans 0°00' to 13°20' Leo. Leo is the most regal and royal of all twelve zodiac signs. The most common gripe people have with Leo's is their pride and self-centered attitude. The thing is is that Leo is ruled by the Sun - the literal center of our solar system. Resenting a Leo for shining is like disliking the Sun for burning. Of course, egotism has the potential to run rampant if a Leo person has not matured very much, which is the shadow side of this sign. Oftentimes, though, you will find that the warm, glowing self-sureness of Leo's triggers the insecurities in those around them, causing them to lash out.
The Iron Throne from Game of Thrones.
The symbolism of the throne for Magha should come as no surprise. Those who sit and have sat in thrones throughout history were usually born into that role as opposed to being appointed - bringing us back to the ancestral power brought on by Magha's connection to the Pitris.
Song for Magha: You Don't Mess Around with Jim by Jim Croce And they say... You don't tug on Superman's cape You don't spit into the wind You don't pull the mask off that old Lone Ranger And you don't mess around with Jim
This song talks about a local legend who's reputation precedes him. It is known so well that you don't cross him that doing so would be as obviously foolish as spitting into the wind. While Jim, the menacing figure the song centers around, is described as being big and dumb - traits that aren't as applicable to Magha - his reputation as someone you don't want to mess with fits perfectly with the power of this nakshatra. Jim, just like Magha, has won the fight before it started because you're probably too intimidated to approach him in the first place. Maybe Jim had the Pitris backing him up, too.

• HASTA NATIVES
Hasta Moon Hasta Moon
Hasta Sun Hasta Moon
Hasta Sun Hasta Sun
Hasta Moon Hasta Sun
Hasta ASC Hasta Moon
Hasta Moon Hasta Moon
As you can see, the appearance of Hasta men is different from Hasta women's. Hasta women have more slimmer, ethereal, fairy-like features and a petite frame. While Hasta men will look like Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon.
Hasta men have a mixture of soft and sharp features. Their face is never as defined or fierce like Chitra men. It's important to try to distinguish the two. Chitra men always seem more intimidating, especially the look they give. Then you consider their animal yoni, and think of the tiger's glare.
Chitra Moon Chitra Sun
Hasta men will always have a softer gaze (and jaw, cheekbones) than Chitra men. Even if there's a close chance of them looking alike, Chitras always have a more stronger/captivating stare.
Chitra Moon Chitra Moon
Hasta Moon women are sometimes more easier to tell apart from Chitra Moon women because Chitra women always look far more like their tiger yoni.
Chitra Moon Chitra Moon
But just like how some Hasta men can look/be mistakened for Chitra and vice versa, the same can happen to Hasta women & Chitra women. I found examples of two women who I thought were one nakshatra but instead another.
(The left I thought she was Chitra, on the right I thought she was Hasta.)
Hasta Sun Chitra Moon
I looked again and noticed that the woman on the left really does have the small, up-turned nose and an ethereal, youthful feel about her - like other Hasta women. I looked long enough to realize that she had a "fairy"-like beauty about her. And the woman on the right, her features aren't traditionally Chitra but far more Purva Ashada which is her Sun placement. And that's okay. Sometimes your Sun placement nakshatra or Ascendent nakshatra shows more on your face than the lunar mansion.
.
.
.
Hasta being ruled by Savitar, the Sun God, already tells the solar qualities within natives who have this lunar mansion. Hasta natives generally tend to steal the spotlight (Hasta Moon Harry Styles from One Direction) or they surpass their peers greatly (Hasta Moon Ariana Grande being the only megastar from Nickelodeon).
So, Hasta nakshatra people are very much alike Leos with being brightest, but they're crafty and very knowledgeable. They love learning, exploring, organizing, naturally attaining multiple skills that sometimes have nothing to do with each other.
They probably have amazing hands, I'd guess they'd love playing the piano if they're not total swift pickpockets. They're involved in various activities or choose to stay in work (art, sports) that involves a lot of repetition/practice.
They notice details that others don't, they may even have an interest in interior design, fashion or anything to do with colour coordination.
Because of the Hasta being co-ruled by the Moon, they tend to be emotionally in tune and have deep intuition. And because Hasta is primarily ruled by Mercury, they can be so good at mental gymnastics (they love wittiness and can develop a sharp sense of humour. Hasta is quite like Revati, in such a way that they like orchestrating pranks). Like their crafty side can make them extremely deceitful, cunning thieves (think of Hasta natives Zoe Kravitz & Anne Hathaway as Catwoman) and they also may be energy vampires.
Nakshatras that happen to suit Hasta: Mrigashira, Swati, Chitra, Revati, Uttara Bhadrapada, Pushya, Uttara Ashada, Purva Ashada, Shravana, Anuradha.

Saturn nakshatras and developing will
⚔⚔⚔
Pushya🐑🌸🐄🥛🌿
Anuradha🐰🌺👯♀️🎇🦌
Uttara Bhadrapada🌊🐉⚔🐮👑
Just a thought: if you are familiar with basic indicators and coorelations in astrology, you might know that Saturn is associated with rules, discipline and obedience. Have any of you found saturn dominant people(people with any of the big three in saturn nakshatras) rather hard to control? Because I have.
Saturn, at its core, and by its simplest understanding is simply a force that binds, making it necessary for anything to materialize. The "rules" are simply the limitations that give any substance an opportunity to take form through submitting to them. So, they can either be correct or not, but never "good" or "bad".
In life, everything is a limitation. Anything that exists is a limitation, and that limitation is precisely what gives it definition. You can't be everything, because then you'd be nothing. "To define is to limit." Exactly.
So, if you think about it, life is just limitations. Every choice is a limitation, every decision is a momentary rule, and any force that you encounter in life is its own unique set of rules and affects you accordingly.
The question arises: which rules and limitations then, should I follow? Which ones are "correct"?
Maybe each of you reading this could test yourself and think about how many choices(big or minor) throughout each day do you make thoughtlessly or carelessly. How many of those truly come from you and from your truest self, because those are the exact rules you should folow. Not something similar, not something almost the same, but exactly those, precision is key to saturn.
Because you yourself were born through limitations(the theme of bharani_ saturn's debilitation, where those rules come from a higher place in hierarchy and are enforced, requiring for the person in question to find inner bravery and will). You yourself, naturally, are a unique set of rules, and require no master other than your truth. The point of control is that if you do not control yourself, others will control you. And if you do, those who don't will naturally be submitted under you.
The sun is just substance that encourages individuality. It does not need to concern itself with the world of hierarchies and rules and materialism, that is not its job. It's the soul. But it's only one side of the coin. To be human is to have a soul(sun) in a flesh that lives in the physical world(saturn). That individuality can only exist if it follows the rules set by itself.
Saturn is the other side: it finds itself in a world of countless limitations and rules. At some point it most likely realizes that it doesn't have to be afraid of those, it just needs to find the correct rules to submit to, and those rules are based on and come from its soul and individuality(sun).
That way the sun and saturn are always connected and are dependant on each other. Saturn and sun nakshatras are all opposite each other and the two pairs of them are yoni consorts(cow and sheep yonis). They always seek each other out and/or are constantly drawn together without choice.
And this dependancy and choiclessness regarding one's nature is also something Saturn has to learn to deal with. True limitations have fo be accepted, so that you don't have to accept limitation imposed by others that aren't true for you. (This is also connected to Bharani_ where higher forces gaslight human souls, and where courage, force and knowledge of your truth will save you from being intimidated and subdued and are the keys to individuation. Btw, the nakshatra of complete individuation is Revati_ Bharani's yoni consort, but those two require their own set of long posts😭.)
Anyways, Saturn has ro master and develop courage and discipline to be their true selves in the face of anyone and anything that is out to make them submit. Over time, it achieves clarity, precision and perfection, and at that point if any outer force encouters it, it will find that it cannot be controlled. Not by fear, not by intimidation, not by anything other than what it chose itself throught love(Swati_ Saturn's exaltation).
So, if you think that Saturn means submission to anything and everything, then I think you have misunderstood its nature. After all, limitations have to be limited too, to only those that are correct, erasing the false ones. In a way, it's defeating the limitations in their own game, fighting them with their own weapon.
I see the last nakshatra of any planet as transcending the planet. Like Purva Ashadha, where Venus is channeled through Jupiter, finally sharing its bounty with others. Or Purva Bhadrapada_ where Jupiter's excess has to be erased and restricted(Saturn), and crystalized(Saturn again) down to its true form.
And then we reach Uttara Bhadrapada. The last Saturn-ruled nakshatra, where the challenge is to transcend the challenge itself, to transcend the limitations and hardships and the rules. I already said how that is done, and that's exactly what Uttara Bhadrapada does. It's known as "The Warrior Star", and not by mistake, because its iron will can never be broken nor bended.
Once all the work is done all that is left is to enjoy everything, to enjoy the end, to appreciate all that has been and just be. And that brings us to Revati_the point of ultimate freedom and individuation, the end of the journey, the calm after the storm, the ending where everything falls into place, and the fun starts...
Look out for my post on Revati(?😭😭).
I want to do it but let's see. Revati and Bharani and their dynamic.

ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय नमः
―i bow to the auspicious, lotus-eyed lord. may his knowledge light up my life, his words guide my soul, and his steadfast lotus feet always be my abode.
✓ cherry / chryseis • 18+
🦚 i would like to start off by welcoming all who have happened to stumble across my account, and by assuring them that this is a safe place for all people; i do not accept any direct or indirect display of racism, sexism, homo / transphobia etc displayed towards me, other of my followers or towards other people. you will immediately and irrevocably be blocked from interacting with my blog, and i.
⚜️ hindu astrology, also called jyotish (jyotiṣa; from jyót 'light, heavenly body') and, more recently, vedic astrology, is the traditional hindu system of astrology. it is one of the six auxiliary disciplines in hinduism connected with the study of the vedas. jyotish is one of the vedangas, the six auxiliary disciplines that support vedic rituals. early jyotish was concerned with the preparation of a calendar to determine dates for sacrificial rituals and mentioned little about planets; highlighting the more mythological aspects of the subject, mentioning rahu & ketu (the nodes) & the term graha, which is now taken to mean planet.
the main reason behind introducing vedic astrology in such a traditional and ancient light is to highlight the cultural importance of what you will be immersing yourself in. hindu religion allows liberty in what all—atheists, people of different faiths and hindus themselves, choose to adopt from the religion. just as doing yoga or meditation does not make you a hindu, practising jyotish doesn't, either.
⚜️ regardless, going beyond this point, it is expected of all to be respectful of this ancient science; and whether or not you believe in it, in that opinion nobody is interested. it would be for the welfare of all that anybody who is apprehensive of it does not go beyond this point. civilness, politeness and respect towards the hindu religion is expected from all.
my ask box is open at all times, but i will not be doing any personal readings or interpretations; free or otherwise. before you ask me anything though, do make sure you check my this post out; it has every basic thing you might wanna know before jumping into vedic analyses.
although of course, questions of general interest are heavily appreciated since i might miss them while working on posts on my own. ask the right question, and i may as well make an entire post on it <3
a few examples, listed below— what does a weak jupiter atmakaraka indicate? what does it mean if my moon is weak but my sun is very strong? what does a mars amatyakaraka indicate?
but of course, questions are not limited to this. if you're unsure, then just shoot an ask.

One thing I’ve noticed that a lot of people do not really talk about is that Jupiter Nakshatras (especially Punarvasu Placements) as well as Jyeshta and Swati placements which I will discuss at a later date are VERY prominent in the Modeling community/ Fashion Houses as models and designers. Many of your favorite models that are known for their “cool girl” laid back auras in addition to their captivatingly strong catwalk struts on the runway have Punarvasu, Swati and Jyeshta placements.
Today we will be exploring the airy glittery world of Punarvasu Nakshatra!
PUNARVASU MODELS
Punarvasu’s Yoni Animal is a Cat🐈⬛, so having Punarvasu in a person’s big three gives them Feline looking features such as large and/or sharp fierce eyes, high cheeks bones and personalities that are very feline like in nature (calm, cool and collected). These girls have a certain type of energy they exude that makes them very “girl next door” like. Many popular Victoria’s Secret models have Punarvasu/ Pushya in their big three. They come across as very feminine and elegant, extremely clean, manicured and put together which I believe is due to their animal yoni being a cat which also is known for having similar characteristics in the animal kingdom. These girls are known for having shiny hair, glittery vibrant eyes and a bewitchingly lethal “Face Card” that can be overwhelmingly fierce and intimidating at first glance.
(Side note: in my opinion these girls that are models are obviously more on the slender and tall side… Though some ppl believe having Jupiter influence makes girls super curvy and voluptuously busty. I agree with that somewhat however like the moon which is known for having different phases or Gemini which is known for its dual nature I would say Punarvasu girls can be either fuller/fleshier like a Full Moon or thinner and more sharp/ slim like a Crescent Moon depending on their degrees and other factors/nakshatras impacting their chart)
Alessandra Ambrosio: Punarvasu Moon
Vlada Roslyakova: Punarvasu Sun, Jyeshta Moon
Yasmin Wijnaldum: Punarvasu Sun
Miranda Kerr: Punarvasu Moon
Romee Strijd: Punarvasu Sun
Notable Mentions:
Caroline Trentini: Punarvasu Sun, Swati Moon
Natasha Poly: Punarvasu Sun
Disclaimer- I’m not claiming to be a professional, so with that being said be nice and show love… or be blocked🫶☺️

hi!!☺️ i’m rather new to learning about nakshatras and i have a mula sun, swati moon, and ardra ascendant! what is there to know about these placements? i love ur posts so i’d like to know ur input💗
Aww thank you!~ 😄 I'm glad that you love my posts and came to me for assistance! 💞
Mula Sun: I have Mula sun just like you! So you're the kind of person who fights for justice and people, many might probably describe you to be brave and compassionate you might have high intelligence or good at academics, I mean us Mula individuals are described to be powerful and great leaders. Another thing is that Mula natives like myself aren't the type to back down from confrontation, and will go the end of the world to protect our loved ones as the yoni animal of Mula is the Male Dog and dogs are known for being loyal, protective, and lovely to their owners, or strangers. You might be quiet, aloof, or be perceived as being ruthless and rude, I mean hello we're ruled by Ketu!
Swati Moon: You're lucky to have Swati as one of your big 3 as multiple Swati people are known to be very beautiful as you guys have round hypnotic and glistening eyes due to the influence of Rahu! Okay so people would describe you to be eloquent, virtuous, and charming including being soft spoken. You might be interested in being a beauty influencer, a model, fashion designer, and makeup designer. People would perceive you to be feminine and the adventure kind, traveling to different places and foreign countries but at the same time you're very independent and like to do things by yourself. Last but not least you might struggle with your emotions but don't worry cause you guys always bounce back!
Ardra Ascendant: Oof you chaotic little cutie!~ You're definitely a highly intelligent person but at the same time good with communication. You probably maintain a cold exterior to protect yourself from appearing vulnerable but people will see you're a ray of sunshine. On the dark wide of Ardra you can be deceitful, cruel, wrecking havoc wherever you go and can get away with it easily, mischievous, and hella dangerous when mad just like Mula since they're both the most destructive and outright menacing Nakshatras. Oh and let me not forget they both are ruled by Dog Yonis! Your beauty consists of big protruding electrifying eyes, medium to large cheekbones, thin to medium lips, and a pointy lower face resembling the symbol of this Nakshatra which is the "tear drop".
