I'm about 50 chapters into this story, and there ARE things about it that im enjoying.

But there's a certain super questionable aspect of the romance that they continuously bring up, seemingly for no reason, and everytime they bring it up im like

Found a new series that ha wildly polarizing opinions, ranging from "this is the best thing I've ever read" to "this is the worst thing ever put to paper", which is my faaavorite type of media.

I'll see you guys after I finish reading Lore Olympus.

#yeah its the age gap. why do they keep bringing up the age gap #theres a whole scene where he tells her he could have dated her mom if he so chose #theres a whole chapter literally called MIND THE GAP and its about hades learning shes 19. reacting with horror and shock.#and then he just continues to pursue her #and im like .....why........ why do you keep bringing it up .............. please stop bringing it up #its freaking me out bro. like persephone get OUT OF THERE #i have notes on a lot of other stuff but the age gap and continuous hammering home of the fact that there is an age gap is just so awful #its weird purely because i know that its not gonna culminate in anything. i know its not gonna be a plot thread. i can feel it in my bones #i swear to GOD i will eat my hat if it ends up leading anywhere #not art #reblog #i love putting the whole post in the tags #their constant reminder of how old hades is genuinely yucks me out. i want to punch him in the mouth #this next comment is coming from someone who has NO knowledge of greek mythology. so keep that in mind. but:#is there a reason persephone is 19. why couldnt she be like 1000 but just really sheltered. is there any reason for that #lol
