fic commissions sheet
I used to do trades but now I have ko-fi and paypal so!
HOW I WRITE
here are some examples of recent fics I've published if you want an idea of my style:
maxchela, angst, 404 words
gideon graves, angst, 1.2k words
bonsar, fluff, 1k words
I have written more fluff but I can't find it. and platonic fics, and smut but I'm not linking that here.
if you guys remember ye olde total drama fandom, I was tdfics. credibility! I also am currently the editor on a very popular fan season. you guys have probably heard of it if you follow me here.
WHAT I WRITE
for pairings:
fluff
angst, hurt/comfort, etc
any kind of au or trope you want*
smut**
platonic!
also:
character studies
x reader, self-insert, or selfship stuff*
OC stories
furry stuff
*given that it follows the guidelines
**given that both characters AND yourself are over 18 years of age and follows the guidelines
WHAT I DON'T WRITE
anything that involves pedophilia, incest, or graphic depictions of IPV
gratuitous amounts of gore
certain kinks (ask me about it)
rpf
anything bigoted
PRICING
500 words or less: $5
500-1k words: $10
1k - 1.5k words - $15
1.5k-2k words - $25
2k+ - ask
you can look up some references on what this amount would be like if you're not sure. the average one-shot (for me) is around 800 words. anything over around 1k requires more time and energy devoted to research, writing, and editing, which is why it's priced higher.
I'm up for negotiation based on what's up.
I only take PayPal. I have Ko-Fi as well, but that's also PayPal iirc
FANDOMS (??? I GUESS)
I made a carrd for it. here.
I still might be able to write something for a media I have never consumed, granted it:
is a movie
a short TV show/a specific episode(s) of a TV show
can be explained to me thoroughly
for example, if you wanted to request a ninjago fic, you could give me a few episodes to watch, and/or give me an explanation of everything I'd need to know (AKA free infodumping! bonus!)
I have the right to reject anything I can't or won't do.
anyway contact me through asks or DMs on this blog

hello everyone!! still… away LOL but ive been doing a bit of writing in my downtime hehe. i started working on a little backburner project and was wondering… would anyone be willing to help beta read for me?? ive had a few people beta read my fics before, but i always feel bad asking people out of the blue haha so i feel like if i threw it out there more generally then it’d be easier!! if you’re interested i’ll put a little bit of info below the cut! :D
Beta reading is essentially proofreading a fic! A beta reader is more casual than like… an editor! beta readers can check for grammar mistakes and such but its mostly just for if the fic sounds good or not haha at least thats how I understand it. If anyone’s up for beta reading i’m not expecting like… super serious edits with every sentence LOL just maybe a few notes~
The fic i’ve been starting a little bit on is… kind of loose lol there’s not too much plot it’s mostly just delving into some characters. It’s a modern AU ninjago fic (predictable, i know) and is essentially a slice of life fic where the main five all live in an apartment and go about life. Later on, they end up deciding to go on a road trip across Ninjago and thats where a lot of the character exploration comes in! I’m not sure if there’s going to be any shippy stuff in it tbh, mostly found family vibes but that could change depending on how it turns out!
It’s probably going to be a little boring since its so self indulgent but if anyone would be interested in beta reading (even just giving it a skim and saying whether its good or bad LOL) please DM me!! i’m currently working on standard notes since I dont have great access with mobile google docs, but as soon as I’m able I’ll send what I have so far your way! I currently have about… half of chapter 1 done, and so far my outline has about 3 chapters planned, its at about 1.3k so far! I’m expecting it to be a shorter multichapter fic, but if i end up starting to plan more than 10 chapters i will let yall know!! also note if you want to volunteer to beta read you dont have to commit to the whole fic LOL i am a chronic overwriter and love to include stuff that probably doesnt need to be there so it could easily get longer than expected quickly!! okay now ive rambled way too long hehe but if you’re interested pretty please dm me!!! :DDD thank you for reading all of this if you did fbhkdfsnjskd treat yourself to a cookie!
(note i can probably copy paste what i have into a google doc if anyone would like to read like… immediately LOL but it’ll probably be easier to just upload when i get back and when i have a bit more done i’m kind of jumping the gun a bit with asking for a beta reader now hehe im just excited. I should be back on april 8th but i’ll be severely tired and jetlagged so realistically i can probably get a good quality document by april 9th!! just a quick heads up lolol)

Ninjago World
In my day-job as picture editor on Focus Magazine, I am usually far too busy and serious for fun and frolics. But a couple of weeks ago I had the good-fortune to be invited to a press-preview of the new Lego Ninjago World ride at Legoland Windsor.
Having been a huge fun of Lego since my early years (I think I got my first aged 2), I think that I was even more excited about our visit than my 2 young children.
This being summer, and being in the UK, I expected to be soaked through within twenty minutes of arriving at the resort. However, for once the weather held and we were able to enjoy all the facilities while basking in glorious sunshine.
Our first stop was the Ninjago World area, where we were greeted by some life-sized Lego figures (brave people dressed in costumes, possibly slowly melting under there!). This was a bit hit with the children, who normally would be quite shy in similar circumstances.
We made our way through the twist and turns of the corridor to the ride, our anticipation building. Once on the ride, where were a mass of flailing arms and legs trying to defeat baddies and getting the highest scores possible.
To be honest I had no idea what I was doing or whether I was doing it right, but I certainly got a good work-out. And, for the record, I got the highest score, just like a typical competitive dad. Although I’m not quite ready to quit my day-job and become a Ninja just yet.
We then hit as many of the rides that the park has to offer, and what a great variety there is! My personal favourite was taking a slow boat-trip around the lake, and watching the sharks and rays underwater whilst aboard the Lego submarine.
The rides were pitched perfectly for my 5-year-old and 7-year-old; just enough to give them a thrill without scaring them silly. The Lego Friends town was a great place to enjoy an ice-cream and settle down to watch the show, with some impressive dance routines, singing and jet-ski antics.
There is such a variety of things to do at Legoland, and in the past we have usually grown tired and ready for home by mid-afternoon. But as a family we were all having too much fun to even think about the time, or if we were tired.
The Ninjago ride is a great addition to what was already on offer, and now gets me into the mood for the new Lego Ninjago Movie that is due out in the UK on the 13th October 2017
I really wish I would have been able to experience this as a child. But I will make do with having fun with my family and enjoying this special day as an adult. I can honestly say that this was the best day-trip we’ve had as a family. Next time, I think we’ll come and stay in the Castle hotel.
Many thanks to the good people at Legoland Windsor for making this all possible for us!
