sdlkfj perfect, yes, A+, canon stamp. Karkat is like "don't freak out about this btw, I can take care of myself, your job is just to look tall and as menacing as you can manage" and then somebody actually attacks him and as Karkat goes into a defensive stance to disarm and capture them his new dopey moirail dives past him and tackles the would-be assassin onto the ground in an amateurish but terrifyingly effective attempt to Do A Kill. Turns out Ghost Grandpa is helpful in the "tips and tricks for violence" category and also the "growing up with years of deeply repressed, internalized rage that needs an outlet" category haha.
