#is it preposterous to be down bad for klingons?

the sheer amount of klingon content in TNG is making me kind of insane. i'm so fucking Normal about them that i got straight-up jealous of riker in "a matter of honor" (S2E8), even though he was surprisingly respectful of their culture, because it should've been me. i wanna be amongst klingons on one of their ships. i wanna eat their suspiciously alive-looking food. wanna laugh at their crude jokes, wrestle for dominance (so no one kills me for my rank/post), growl, sneer and huff, try to woo handsome officers by biting their faces and throwing poetry books at them (gay klingon courtship eludes me), get out of every training session with at least three fractured bones, get made fun of constantly because i'm short/soft/cannot carry a fucking bat'leth without tripping, unashamedly fawn over the men, scratch/punch others for Normal bonding.....augh....
