this is addressing the wrong audience, but like, i’m soooo curious about people who say they don’t like x reader fics because “that’s not me, i wouldn’t do that”. like… nothing is going to be exactly u, kiddo. that’s the beauty and the tragedy of existing in this world lmaooo. you alone are singular. the best a x reader fic can offer your uniqueness is a space in the story and the world to slip into, and project a little easier on. maybe a shared experience or two. if you want exactness, a true paper version of yourself, then there is only one thing for it: you write it yourself.
