Say it with me folks, the concept of the "male loneliness epidemic" is a thought pattern meant to examine the negative affects of toxic masculinity and the patriarchy on men. If you cannot engage with conversations about how men are negatively affected by toxic masculinity without rolling your eyes and saying something to the effect of "sucks for them, maybe they shouldn't be such pigs", congratulations, you are missing the entire point.
