Sunday morning. This weekend marks ten years of serving on the worship team at Calvary Church in Irwin Pa. My life prior to finding this church and this team was aimless and lonely. I have my wife to thank for helping me find the church and I have my good friend, Jon Hicks, to thank for introducing me to the team and giving me my first opportunity to step out from the back line and lead on a Sunday morning. I have another good friend, pastor Jason Weaver, to thank for continuing to pour into me and helping me to grow into the leader that I am today. I’ve seen the team grow and change dramatically over this last decade. Change is hard but necessary. It’s not the same team that it was when I joined. I would be disappointed if it was. I wouldn’t change a minute of serving on this team. I’m so thankful for the friendships I’ve developed over the years.
