MY GYM TEAM

Absolute monster of a starter on the playing field, and she loves going first — so it’s a win/win really. Off the field though, she loves chewing shit and chattering.

Absolutely loves getting his back brushed. Snippy around strangers though, so be aware.

Very quiet, keeps to herself a lot. She seems content though! So we leave her be.

Been with me for a long-ass time, and was the first (proper) addition to my first ever Gym team. Absolutely feisty, very spunky — but he’s got a bloody good heart.

valentine’s day asks!: still acceptingTo be quite honest, the mage girl had been zoning out, watching couples go to and fro, eating in the dining hall, dancing under the flowers in the tea square, it was like watching a fairy tale  happen right before her eyes. It was lovely, even if she was just a spectator.A little piece of her less logical mind can’t help but wonder if she’ll have that ‘fairy tale’ kind of love one day.

It’s for this reason, so deep in daydream, she jumps so terribly when Flayn calls her name, squeaking slightly in surprise.

Hesitantly, she takes the bloom, inspecting it’s beautiful petals with careful, gentle fingertips, her expression going from surprise into quiet happiness.

Childhood Headcanons

So, these ideas have been going around my mental labyrinth and until now I decided to publish them. First part of – Uh five?

Both live in different parts of the city. Shouta lives on the outskirts of the city while Hizashi lives in a residential area.

Shouta has a sister ten years older than him. Their parents are Pros, but they're rarely at home so he ends up being raised by his sister. His sister has a quirk that allows her to control a person simply by touching them.

Hizashi's father was Japanese while his mother is half-Canadian and half-Japanese, Hizashi inherited his blonde hair from his mother and his green eyes from his father. His father's quirk produced vibrations around him while his mother's was imitating sounds.

Hizashi's parents were almost deaf after he was born, so they know sign language. His mother also teaches him to speak English and some French. His father is the one who induces his love for music, all kinds of music, everything.

Shouta's sister gives him a black kitten on his birthday, which they always celebrate at home alone.

On most nights, Shouta and her sister made blanket forts and watch action and comedy movies, it didn't matter if they were bad or good movies, both siblings enjoyed their time together since when their parents were at home none of the two left their rooms.

Hizashi's father died during a chase when he was eight years old. His mother thought about returning to Canada but decided to look for a job to support her and Hizashi. None of his parents were heroes but they had professions. His mother started working at a hotel and Hizashi went to see her after school. On some occasions he spoke with some tourists and he learned more languages.

Shouta's parents had thought of a marriage of quirks between their daughter and another Pro's son. However, she runs away from home as soon as she finds out. Shouta's parents never forgave her the wasted opportunity and repudiated her. Even so, she remained in touch with Shouta.

Hizashi's mother remarries a veterinarian. Hizashi adores her immediately and on weekends he goes with her to her vet to play with animals, her favorites are birds, also he loves when she brings animals to their house so he can take care of them.

The reason why Hizashi is afraid of insects is because of Mimic, and since his quirk doesn't work on them, then neither he nor anyone else will be safe.

With his parents' shitty attitude, Shouta begins to detest Pros as he believes that they only care about themselves and what the media and society thinks of them, so he decides to focus on being an undergound hero where he doesn't have to deal with all that.

Hizashi, despite wanting to be a hero, fears that his quirk is destructive and dangerous (once in elementary school some kids made him use a gag) so he considers more options in case he doesn't manage to be one. Being a DJ is the first thing that comes to mind when he remembers his father.

Once Shouta's sister finds a hero agency, she hires a good lawyer to help her fight for Shouta's custody before her parents try to do another quirk marriage. Don't worry, she wins and Shouta moves in with her and neither of them ever contacts their parents again.

She will now, though-- her hand flies up to her forehead to block the glare of the sun while she attempts to give their surroundings a lookover.

Soft gaze settles on Gentiana’s pristine features; the tired bags beneath his hazel eyes (ones that look like they’ll never vanish, not after all that he’s been through) should be enough to tell her that worrying is just part of who he is now. He’s able to offer her a small smile, at least. 

“There isn’t any rush, though-- you can still take your stroll, I-I just... hope you don’t mind my tagging along.” To keep an eye on her, yes, but also so he, too, can enjoy the serene area at this time of day. As well as her comfortable company, if she was willing to give it.
