Part 1 - I am so sick of the purity culture on this site. They've been going after Rowling for a while now calling her a fake progressive. what they don't understand is that she is a progressive, but she is still a product of her time she grew up in the UK in the 80's. In their childhood they put Rowling on a pedestal and now they are grown up their perfect image of Rowling no longer lives up to their over the top standards and they can't handle it and resort to nitpicking and harassment.

Part 2- I don't mind even that they criticize Rowling, but that they're so passive aggressive about it. for example saying things like" oh you can say JK Rowling .. it's ok.. she's a problematic mess" or post about how portraying Dumbledore and other adults as flawed makes Rowling homophobic, racist etc. What's even worst are posts saying things like: "Urg Rowling is so problematic.. Harry Potter belongs to us now" without out realizing how entitled they sound

Part 3- Without Rowling Harry Potter wouldn't exist you entitled twats and your precious black feminist queer Hermione wouldn't exist either. They keep bitching about Death of the author and taking back the canon from Rowling and giving it over to the fans as if the characters are real and they need to rescue them form an abusive relationship. They're harassing an author over a fictional universe. If they hate HP so much why not ignore it as I do with DisneyStarWars.

Part 4 - It's hypocrisy when people harassed the actors of the new Star Wars movies sjw's on this site were all up in arms calling them out as they should and called them racist misogynistic scum. Actually they called anyone who criticized the new movies racist misogynists. However when it comes to Rowling it's totally fine to harass her, to name call her, to nitpick her works into oblivion because it's all done in the name of Social Justice.

Part 5- I'm so sorry for the long as rant I'm just sick of seeing these bitchy passive aggressive posts on my dash. Ya she I agree that she could've made the Dumbledore is gay thing clearer in DH. However Rowling like Pratchett uses a lot of metaphors that do not coincide with the real world 1 to 1 and that upsets the sjw's, because having Hermione face discrimination without being black is inconceivable to these people because the whole world is the US apparently.

Part 6- I'm so sorry I'll stop after this, but I want to get this off my chest. It's gotten to the point that I actually get put off of reading Harry Potter and Discworld, because of the fandom.. well more Potter and less Discworld. I've seen sjw's pulling the same shit with Pratchett as they do with Rowling, but in that case it is at least confined to a single website of insanity. I'm sorry for bitching, but any defense of Rowling on this website is seen as endorsement of her evil ways. 

A lot of the things Rowling is saying are pretty dumb, but I will never not roll my eyes at the reaction of “HURR WHY DUMBLEDORE NOT FLAMING OUT THE CLOSET” Like wow, why would a 200 year old wizard who lived and died before Gay Marriage even became close to mainstream acceptability ever NOT be open about his homosexuality? And I dunno about you but the stuff with Grindelwald I could easily have seen as him having a crush before it became apparent that Grinder was gonna be the first Wizard Hitler.

German Ron Fan here. I love your blog. Ron is my favourite character. I love Trio friend fics or Auror Ron and Auror Harry detective story/political dramas or a well written Ron/Hermione love story. I honestly don't see the problem with Ron and Hermione's Relationship. It is not abusive, they complement each other and when people say he was immature well ya so was Han at the beginning of A New Hope and Empire and both left and came back.

I always feel that the ones who call Ron abusive have no clue what abuse, physical or emotional, actually is. Bickering is not abuse. Neither is fighting over silly things while growing up called ‘abusive behavior’. The only thing is that they have different views and that, as you rightly said, is a strength.

I actually find it hilarious that Ron is the one blamed for abuse when all he does is argue with Hermione, which she actively takes part in, if I may add! Additionally, another point that frequently comes up is that he made her cry. But we are talking about Hermione Granger- the one witch who punched her bully Draco when she was thirteen and locked an adult(pesky and extremely annoying) journalist in a jar and then even blackmailed her! Would Hermione ever cry over Ron if he was being abusive? The whole of HP series is a teenage drama, how can those readers forget that she was a young girl in love with a guy who took longer than her to figure out that he reciprocated her love? And no other person in the entire series makes her so weak only because she doesn’t allow them to. Ron is the only one who can make her cry because she loves him! How hard is that to understand, I don’t know. I literally feel like banging them(the morons who don’t realize) on their head with an Encyclopedia and yell -IT IS LOVE, YOU IDIOTS!!!

And if we are really talking about abusive, no matter how annoyed Ron is with her (about Scabbers or the firebolt or Krum or when in DH he feels she likes Harry, or any xyz issue), he never, NEVER, physically hurts her. Quite the contrary, he saves her at the risk of his own life.

It’s Hermione who is frequently mentioned as hitting him. She even sets the vicious birds on him that peck his skin leaving scars on it. He doesn’t ever retaliate- just tries to save himself without even touching her. Really? A how hard would it be for a guy over 6′ to hold back a girl who is definitely a head shorter than him if he tries to? 

Seriously people should start reading the original books before watching the movies or reading those Ron-bashing fanfics.

I just saw Lily Peet's preview on her Steven Universe is Garbage video" and she is right on some points like the increasing the cluster arc & Yellow and Blue being redeemed way to quickly with little to no consequences for their actions. Other than that this video reeks SU crit BS, complete with calling Rebecca transphobic, racist and fascist. She ignores all that is good about SU and only focuses on the negative, but hey its Peet right. Fucking hypocritical bitch sitting on her high horse.

Y&B’s whole reason for being so pissed about earth is because it was where Pink supposedly died, and now that they find she’s (sort of) alive through Steven, there’s no reason for them to be enemies anymore.

Last band t-shirt I bought: I am the worst at keeping up with bands. I’ve been to one concert in my entire life. The one band I semi-keep up with is Pentatonix and I am beyond sad I never got the chance to see them when Avi was still with them :(

Last band I saw live: Like I said, I’ve only been to one concert in my life, and it was actually a festival so I saw multiple bands! I saw Tenth Avenue North, For King and Country and Casting Crowns while I was there. Tenth Avenue North and Casting Crowns are up there in my favorite Christian bands. For King and Country is alright, too.

Last song I listened to: Rosie from Bye Bye Birdie. I got to see a junior production of Bye Bye Birdie today and it made me so nostalgic of when I did it with my old theatre group! It’s a fun musical from the ‘60s loosely based off the commotion that happened when Elvis was drafted into the army. Dick Van Dyke plays the main character in the movie version which is pretty cool!
