CSK Dynamic Player: Ruturaj Gaikwad in 2025
Ruturaj Gaikwad has cemented his place as an integral player in Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and he could be one player to look out for in IPL 2025. Someone known for his consistency and calmness, Gaikwad has quietly turned into one of his side’s most dependable cricketers. His performance will play a pivotal role in deciding CSK’s fate in the upcoming IPL as he gears up for yet another season with the team.

If You Want To Make A Lot Of Money Then Look For Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Ruturaj Gaikwad’s IPL debut was in 2020 with the Chennai Super Kings. He has improved as a cricketer since then. His execution of playing anchor innings together with his fearless approach at the top-order makes him the most fundamental part of CSKs batting line-up. In IPL 2021, he was awarded the Orange Cap for most runs, cementing his status as the next big thing in Indian cricket.
Ruturaj Gaikwad’s IPL journey is one of gradual progression and with every appearance he has blossomed into a central figure for his franchise CSK. He is now regarded as one of the top young openers in the IPL due to his ability to play both spin and pace bowling effectively.
IPL 2025: Ruturaj Gaikwad Continue the Good Way
With CSK preparing for the IPL 2025 season, expect the prolific Ruturaj Gaikwad to spearhead their charge. His pairing with Devon Conway at the top will be key in giving CSK’s innings a good start. There has been a similar story over the past few seasons.. Gaikwad has displayed that he is capable of playing responsible innings but also quick innings this year should be no different.
As MS Dhoni enters his last IPL season in 2025, Gaikwad and other players will gradually take up leadership responsibilities. His cool demeanour, similar to Dhoni, also places him in line for team leadership in the future. Though Gaikwad has not yet been formally entrusted any captaincy responsibilities, there is often an on-field maturity seen in him, more so under high-pressure situations.
Ruturaj Gaikwad: The Man with Many Talents
If Ruturaj Gaikwad also keeps well, it gives CSK one more versatile option apart from batting high in the order. While MS Dhoni will still don the wicketkeeper’s gloves for CSK in IPL 2025, Gaikwad’s credentials behind the stumps certainly give depth to the squad. Gaikwad can also take the stumps if required which allows CSK to have options.
Such dual skill set makes Gaikwad an increasingly valuable player for CSK. This versatility and team-first mentality are apparent in Schneider Jr.’s willingness to take on different roles and responsibilities. Whether it is providing with the bat or being prepared for wicket-keeping duties, Gaikwad is always ready for the task.
Ruturaj Gaikwad’s IPL Career
Ruturaj Gaikwad is one of the leading run-scorers for CSK since making his IPL debut. After some brilliant moments in his initial seasons, it was the 2021 IPL that brought him into the limelight. Gaikwad scored more than 600 runs and he was awarded the Orange Cap for his amazing season that year. He played a crucial role in CSK’s victory during IPL 2023, helping the team claim their fourth IPL title.
Gaikwad’s career statistics in the IPL remain impressive, providing for a respectable average, while his strike rate seeks to combine aggression with responsibility, Despite a slight dip in his strike-rate, Kedar Jadhav’s knack of building innings while maintaining a healthy run-rate makes him a robust opener for CSK. With the 2025 IPL season fast approaching, both fans and teammates will be expecting yet another masterclass from Gaikwad.
Chennai Super Kings Future Star: Ruturaj Gaikwad
The future looks hugely bright for Ruturaj Gaikwad in Chennai Super Kings. He is one of the most beloved players in Pakistan since many years with very cool personality and stable batting. His steadfast allegiance to CSK has impressed fans, who view him as one of the franchise’s future greats.
As CSK prepares for a new era without Dhoni, Gaikwad is set to be an integral part of the team’s long-term plans. So his performances in IPL 2025 will be crucial not only for this season but also for leadership roles in the future. Gaikwad would have been a valuable occupying piece for CSK given both his experience and consistency, his ability too to handle pressure will have been crucial in ensuring the teams success in future seasons.
Final Thoughts on Ruturaj Gaikwad in IPL 2025
All eyes will be on Ruturaj Gaikwad as the 2025 IPL season rolls over As an opener and a potential future leader of the Chennai Super Kings, he is their most important player. Gaikwad is in the form of his life in IPL and will like to take team CSK to new heights and become the dont miss atmosfera of the tournament.
Gaikwad’s role has always been hugely significant, but in IPL 2025, he is set to take centre stage — not just as a top-order batsman, but as a possible future leader as well. His quiet demeanor, cricketing ability and willingness to fit in with what CSK needs have made him a linchpin of the team’s plans. Whether it is his batting, wicket-keeping, or on-field leadership, every department is set to play a crucial role for Gaikwad in CSK’s success in this season.

ahaha - I was thinking about timelines and when this fits - how many years do Yash and Jos play at RR together?
a quick wikipedia search says that Yash joined RR in the 2020 season, when he was only 18. But he didn't play any games then. Jos was with Rajasthan since around 2017/18 I guess? So they've played 5 seasons together. Maybe Jos and Yash can get together in 2022 or 2023? That was when Yash started having a permanent place in the RR playing 11 and opening alongside Jos, I think. While they might have interacted in the dressing room earlier, idk I don't much like the idea of them getting together as early as 2020 when Yash is only 18 to Jossy's 30. That's a bit ick. I can kinda see Yash being after Jos ever since the 2020 season, but in my mind, Jos won't really reciprocate until Yash is older, at least 20/21, and even then he's quite hesitant. Thoughts on this?
As for Yash and Shubh-- I don't think they really interact until June or July 2023, when Yash debuts for India. Prior to that, they've been opponents on a domestic and IPL level, but never played together. So maybe 2023 is when things start to go bad for Yash and Jos, and 2024 IPL is when they break up?
So Shubman and Yash bond quickly, by virtue of being the youngest people on the squad. Shub is privy to Yash's relationship problems and is often a shoulder for Yash to cry on. He can't fathom why Yash stays with a guy who is very clearly in love with someone else, but Yash refuses to hear any advice of breaking up, because he wants this to work out. It makes him burn in frustration because he knows he'll do a better job of loving Yash, treating him the right way. He wants Yash to be happy, and he clearly can't be happy with a man like Jos who makes him cry his eyes out 5 days of the week. Initially, Shub dismisses these feelings as friendship and protectiveness, but soon realises he's fallen in love with Yash. However, he never makes a move, not wanting to influence Yash in any way. Not even when he breaks up with Jos.
After the break up, Yash is distraught, but eventually moves on and recovers enough to test the waters again. Shubman quickly catches his eye, maybe there's a flicker of a subconscious feeling that was always there, even while he was dating Jos, but is only now free to express itself. Anyways, it doesn't take long for Yash to fall for Shubi, but by now Shubhi has developed a reputation as a playboy and a heartbreaker. And that's absolutely not the kind of relationship Yash wants, especially after the Jos fiasco. He doesn't want a man who'll use him for a few nights then dump him. So Yash stays away from Shubh, never overstepping the boundary of friendship. Shubman meanwhile, is waiting for Yash to cross the boundary of friendship, because he doesn't want to rush Yash into anything, especially after that last disaster of a relationship, he wants to give him enough time to heal, hence doesn't approach him first. So they just pine after each other. 🥹
But I can't figure out how they go past the pining stage. 😂 any ideas?
Yeah I think those timings all make sense
From my writing experience I’d say the quickest route past awkward pining is alcohol and waking up naked next to each other with no memory of the night before 😂

Hardik Pandya will play for the Mumbai Indians
As of right now, neither team has officially announced the deal, but it will be the largest player transaction in IPL history.
For the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season, star all-arounder Hardik Pandya is expected to part ways with his present squad, the Gujarat Titans (GT), and rejoin his old team, the Mumbai Indians, according to news sources
The 30-year-old player’s salary of Rs 15 crore and an unknown transfer fee to the Titans are the only terms of the all-cash transaction. Hardik might receive as much as 50% of the transfer money, per to news report.

The transaction will be regarded as the largest player trade in IPL history if it is executed successfully. Neither franchise has officially announced it as of yet.
In addition to leading the Gujarat-based team to victory in the 2022 IPL season, the all-around player was named “Player of the Match” in the match’s decisive victory over the Rajasthan Royals.
GT secured their spot in the IPL final for the second time in their first two seasons during the previous IPL season. They were runners-up in 2023, though, after losing to the Chennai Super Kings.
After Ravichandran Ashwin moved from Punjab Kings to Delhi Capitals, the 30-year-old will be the third captain to be swapped if the deal is completed. The second occasion occurred in 2020 when Ajinkya Rahane was traded by the Rajasthan Royals to the Capitals.

[ad_1] Pant played an unwanted shot to gift his wicket away. (PC: Debasis Sen) This is the way Rishabh Pant plays. ‘Toota hai Gabba ka ghamand, jeet gayi hai muqabla Bharat!’ ‘India incredible! Rishabh Pant is the star!’ For us, it has just been about four years. For Rishabh Pant, it has been more than a lifetime. Picked ahead of Wriddhiman Saha for the Border Gavaskar Trophy in Australia after the first Test of the 2020-21 series, Pant turned out to be a revelation. With the Kohli-Shastri duo rooting for five frontline bowlers in SENA countries, India desperately needed an extra specialist batter in the top six, who could also keep. Yes, read that sentence twice. Pant was picked. And boy, did he turn things around! His swashbuckling, fearless approach, mindset and intent paved the way for some astonishing Indian wins and comebacks. Take a Test match for example. England versus India at Birmingham, 2022. India staring down the barrel at 98-5. In walks Pant. Smashes 146 off 111 balls with 19 fours and four sixes. In the recent past, Pant’s life has been absolute cinema. Nearly fatal car accident, shaking hands with death and coming back, integral part of India’s T20 world cup winning squad, purchased for a whopping Rs 27 crore by Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL mega auction. Amidst all these, his form slumped. Pant tried defending, it did not work. He tried hitting, it did not work either. The audacious, outrageous shots were just not working anymore. But one thing every cricket expert was certain of. Pant had his cricketing brains in the right place. He was most certainly a leadership candidate for India going forward. Pant will remember 28th December, 2024, for a long time. Fourth Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Series tied at 1-1. Third day of the Boxing Day Test at MCG. Pant and Ravindra Jadeja beginning the day with India’s top order back in the hut on the previous day. Clearly, the onus was on both of them. And rightly so. They have been among India’s best red-ball batter overseas of late. Pant began steadily, hitting a few boundaries and playing his aggressive brand of cricket with a sense of caution. All this, until Scott Boland came on to bowl. For some odd reason, with India reeling at 191-5, Pant decided to play the lap shot. It looks bizarre the way he plays it. Of course, if you are a cricket purist. If you are a cricket fan, it’s great fun to watch. Pant defies every rulebook of Test cricket. On this day, however, he tried to defy commonsense. And it did not come off. He had given an indication of what he was going to do. He missed the lap shot, got hit on the body. He backed himself for that shot one more time the very next ball. Except, probably, he forgot to notice or did not even realise that there were three fielders placed in the deep exactly for that attempt. The Aussies had learnt their lessons and come well prepared. There were some other factors as well. The Test was just two days old. Australia had piled up 474 in the first innings. You needed to play out time, you needed to tire the pace attack. And most importantly, as the Aussie batters showed, once you got in, this MCG pitch was a paradise for batters. Who are the batters to follow? Three-Test old Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar who has played seven. If India win this Test, they get to retain the Border Gavaskar Trophy for the third time in a row against Australia in Australia. But then, ‘that’s how Pant plays.’ He played that shot, mistimed it and Nathan Lyon did the rest. Sunil Gavaskar reacted sharply in the commentary box with a barrage of words starting with ‘stupid, stupid, stupid’ and you wouldn’t blame him. You play for your country, not for yourself. If this is how Pant plays, then his approach needs to change according to the match situation and the team’s needs. The team management needs to have a stern word with him. If his team needs him to defend, he has to defend. If his team gives him the license to play his natural game, he needs to take the onus, the responsibility.
After all, Pant has great cricketing brains, he might lead the side one day, according to some cricket experts. ‘Rishabh Pant plays like Rishabh Pant’ cannot be the explanation anymore. As simple as that. With this Indian Test team in transition, they need experienced players like Pant to stand up. And for that, Gabba ke saath saath Rishabh Pant ka ghamand tootna bhi zaruri hai. The post Rishabh Pant is what he is, but there has to be a rethink appeared first on Sports News Portal | Latest Sports Articles | Revsports. [ad_2] Source link

Latest Indian Cricket News - Live Cricket Scores, Cricket News, Results & More

Cricket is more than just a sport in India; it's an obsession that unites the entire nation. From the nail-biting finishes to the explosive performances by players, Indian cricket fans can't get enough of their beloved game. And if you're one of them, then you've come to the right place! In this latest Indian Cricket News blog post, we'll bring you up-to-date with all things cricket-related in India. From T20 World Cup preparations to COVID-19's impact on India's upcoming calendar and everything in between, let's dive into the world of Indian cricket together!
Latest Indian cricket news for 2023 includes the India national cricket team's tour of Australia. The tour is scheduled to take place from November 2021 to January 2023. This will be the first time that the two sides have played a Test series since 2017. India are also scheduled to play five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
Latest Indian Cricket News - India's Approach To T20 Cricket In 2023
India's approach to T20 cricket in 2023 is a hot topic among Indian cricket fans. With the ICC T20 World Cup fast approaching, India's preparation is already underway. The team management has been experimenting with new players and strategies to find the winning combination for the tournament.
In recent years, India has struggled in ICC events despite having a strong squad. The lack of success can be attributed to their overreliance on star players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. However, things seem to be changing as younger players are getting more opportunities to showcase their skills at the international level.
India's approach towards T20 cricket has also shifted from being overly aggressive to more balanced gameplay. This change was visible during India's tour of Australia earlier this year where they won both the ODI and T20 series against Australia.
With experienced campaigners like MS Dhoni in support roles within the team, India seems well-equipped for another successful campaign in 2023. It remains unclear who will lead the team after Kohli steps down as captain but one thing is certain - Indian cricket fans have much to look forward to!
The Impact Of COVID-19 On India's Cricket Calendar For 2023
The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on the world of sports, and Indian cricket is no exception. The impact of the virus has been felt across all levels of the sport, from grassroots development to international fixtures.
The outbreak in India led to a suspension of all domestic and international matches in 2020. As a result, many high-profile tournaments such as the IPL were postponed or cancelled entirely.
Looking ahead to 2023, it remains unclear how much longer the virus will continue to disrupt sporting schedules. While there have been attempts to resume play under strict bio-bubble protocols, it's uncertain whether these measures will be sustainable over an extended period.
Furthermore, with so many countries impacted differently by COVID-19 restrictions and vaccine rollouts, scheduling overseas tours may prove challenging for Indian cricket officials. This could mean rethinking their approach to tournament planning altogether.
Despite these challenges though, fans can rest assured that Indian cricket officials are doing everything they can under difficult circumstances - both for player safety and preserving the integrity of competition.
The Rise Of Young Indian Cricketers: Meet The Future Stars
Indian cricket has always been known for producing some exceptional talent, and the current crop of young Indian cricketers is no exception. These players have shown immense potential and are set to become superstars in the future.
One such player is Shubman Gill, who made his Test debut against Australia last year. He showed great composure and technique during his innings of 91 in the second Test match. Another promising youngster is Prithvi Shaw, who shot to fame after scoring a century on his Test debut against West Indies in 2018.
Rishabh Pant is another name that comes to mind when we talk about young Indian cricketers. The wicket-keeper batsman has already made a mark for himself with some fantastic performances in both Tests and limited-overs cricket.
The fast bowling department also looks promising with the likes of Navdeep Saini, Mohammed Siraj, and Kamlesh Nagarkoti showcasing their skills at various levels. In addition to these players, there are several others like Devdutt Padikkal, Ishan Kishan, Rahul Chahar who are waiting for their opportunity to shine on the big stage.
It's an exciting time for Indian cricket as they continue to produce top-quality talent from grassroots level all the way up to international cricket. With these future stars waiting in the wings, India's dominance in world cricket looks set to continue for years to come.
Rohit Sharma's Captaincy: Is It Time For Kohli To Step Down?
As India gears up for the upcoming cricket season, there are plenty of exciting developments to keep an eye on. From the team's approach to T20 cricket in 2023 and the impact of COVID-19 on their calendar, to the emergence of young Indian cricketers who could become future stars, there is no shortage of news and analysis to follow.
And when it comes to leadership within the Indian cricket team, many fans are debating whether it's time for Virat Kohli to step down as captain and pave the way for Rohit Sharma. While this may be a contentious issue among supporters, one thing is clear: both players have demonstrated exceptional talent and leadership skills over the years.
Ultimately, only time will tell what direction India's cricket team will take in terms of its strategy and personnel. However, with so much excitement surrounding this beloved sport in India - from live scores and results updates online to passionate debates about every aspect of play - one thing is certain: fans can look forward to plenty more thrilling moments on the pitch in the months and years ahead.

[ad_1] Ruturaj Gaikwad rose to fame after giving Chennai Super Kings a glimmer of hope at the fag end of their horrendous IPL 2020 season when he came off the bench in the final few matches and scored a few half-centuries. Gaikwad, who was originally drafted into the CSK squad in 2019, later emerged as a mainstay opener for five-time champions, forming a threatening pair at the top of the order with Faf du Plessis in the following season and then with Devon Conway as CSK returned to dominance in 2023 season. Ruturaj Gaikwad opens up on his captaincy learnings from MS Dhoni Amid the rise as a batter both in IPL and in domestic cricket, coupled with few opportunities for India as well over last couple of years, Gaikwad has also picked up a thing or two from the legendary MS Dhoni in terms of captaincy. In fact, following his experience as a skipper for Maharashtra in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy after IPL 2021 tournament there were a few discussions on whether the youngster could later go on to fill Dhoni's shoes for CSK post the captain's retirement. And while it still remains a far off call from Dhoni and Chennai, Ruturaj will have the opportunity to prove his worth as a captain when he leads the Indian squad in the Asian Games, starting October 3. While most of want Ruturaj to emulate Dhoni's captaincy style during the tournament, the batter clarified that he would want to lead India the way he wants. "I got to learn a lot of things from him (Dhoni) but every person has a different style. His style is different, his personality is different and my personality is a bit different," Gaikwad told the media here ahead of India's first game. "I will try to be myself and not really look at what he usually does. Obviously, yes you have to pick out some things which he does really well, how he handles situations and how he handles particular players during a match. Obviously, these are (a) few things I really took from him, but I would like to lead the way I want to. I just want the players to express themselves and give how much ever freedom that I can." India will be favourites for another gold medal in Hangzhou after the women's team had clinched the ultimate prize earlier in the Games. Gaikwad and Co. will open their campaign in the quarterfinal round on Tuesday against Nepal. Gaikwad admitted that the players are eager to clinch the gold medal like their women counterparts. "Coming to the Asian Games, everyone is eager to win the gold for the country and stand up on the podium," he said. "In cricket, we have the World Cup, the IPL and domestic tournaments. We are used to that kind of environment and situations. But coming here and going to the village, we really got to know about the athletes — what kinds of struggle they go through," he said.
