Lol so the eBay bid on this Sansa Fuze turned out to be operational.......only if it's plugged into a charger!!! So it probably means it's another case of a bad battery. But while it was connected to the charger, I was able to take a peek at its contents: children's music and christian music. Including john jacob jingleheimer schmidt.

It also has a couple of photos of a real live family, I guess? It's got dad's birthday photos and some iPhone photos that aren't supported on this (as recent as 2012! I say as if 2012 wasn't 13 years ago)

But one thing this device had was a working scroll wheel that's not sticky, so I swapped out the one I have with it. I had to take out the wheel instead of just swapping the faceplate bc mine had a less scuffed up screen cover.

Notice tho how the PCB is different: the one on the left is the eBay bid and the one on the right is the one I had. It also said different versions #s on the PCB - mine v2.6 and the other 1.41. Wonder what those differences mean. Overall, it's definitely a dud but I'm glad I got it bc now it means I have backup parts for everything minus a battery (which I'm hoping would be easy to source online) 👍
