sui you do not have to limit yourself to being the resident funny or cringe yandere writer to appeal to a certain group of strangers on the internet. this is not some play where everyone has defined roles, and has to stick to them. you are made of so many different parts, and we wanna see them!!!!

and you are literally writing about obsessive fictional men on tumblr dot com!!! you are allowed to be silly and serious and whimsical and edgy with your writing!!!!! you can do anything with it, and that’s the gift of writing. you have the capability to create compelling stories and doing that doesn’t take away from how funny you are. you were still the same person you are now back when you had that tomie pfp and wrote more serious stories, like the “lord give me one last chance” one. i think about that a lot.

don’t hold yourself back from posting the things you love because of a fear or abandonment. your followers are (based on the asks i’ve seen) some of the most vibrant people on this side of tumblr!!! they will not simply go away because you’ve started posting less comical works, or exploring different characters or dynamics or niches.

it is your blog. life is short. even if some people aren’t happy, you will be glad to do what you did, and i will be reading it, glad you did what you did. don’t box yourself in when you are so much more than just a silly joke.
