"Hm?" She looks up from her vanity. "What would I bother to change? Why would I have to?"

A faerie-looking doll on her desk laughs with her. She frowns and snaps her fingers, and it's as if it had never moved at all. "It's not like I have anything to hide. Or any need to hide it."

Invidia doesn't have any memory of her actual childhood, so. no.

She DID wake up with a necklace bearing the symbol of Desirae around her neck, and refused to take it off for the LONGEST time before getting scared she'd lose it (somewhere to the later side of her climb to power) and keeping it hidden in a jewellery box. It's the only clue to her past she has.

👻 GHOST - do they believe in ghosts? what are their "ghostly experiences", if any?

Avarice: His boss is a lich. If he's ever claimed not to believe in ghosts, it's to piss off Kirren.

Mochi <3: Never had an experience with ghosts personally, so... probably never really thought about it.

Invidia: She talks to ghosts on the daily king she works in the afterlife.

Cyrus: Fucking ABSOLUTELY, but he's not like. Afraid of them. Never had a "supernatural experience" per se but you'd better believe his excuse for every unexplained noise is -shrug- "ghosts."

💥 COLLISON - what emotions do they have trouble dealing with?

Avarice: Yes.

Vega: Anger. He's used to other negative emotions, so he can deal with them fairly easily, but anger is repressed so far. He doesn't let himself be angry. He thinks it's disrespectful. (Plus, other people have it worse.)

Invidia: Jealousy. Enough said.

Cyrus: He was pretty good with his emotions. I'd say since Jan passed he had some internal problems with affection, though. (He felt like he was replacing her.)

He keeps it under a loose floorboard under his bed because he can't bring himself to burn it, and he only writes in it when he's really lonely. Nobody else actually knows he kept it (or had it in the first place) so he wouldn't really have much of an external reaction if he lost it. Although he might have a private breakdown once he realises.

Vega: Absolutely not he got out of his childhood home via suicide attempt. He was pretty upset about losing that shrimp plushie his uncle got him, though.

Invidia: Little bits of jewellery she took from various people. She can't remember most of the origins.

Cyrus: A teddy bear he was given by his mother, when he was very young. It plays a little music box when you squeeze its paw.

Avarice: This man can't cook for shit. When he actually remembers to eat, he goes out.

Vega: Competent chef. He's at least adequate, and he likes cooking.

What kind of jokes make them laugh?

Invidia's sense of humour is stupidly dark. Not even in a cool way. In a very blatant, "I am laughing at your misfortune and nothing else" kind of way. She's just mean.

Avarice's sense of humour is SO childish. He acts tough but make one half-funny innuendo and he's on the FLOOR. People are pretty consistently caught off guard when they ask him something like "hey what do you do for a living." And this 6"3 fallen angel, with red eyes, a stare that could kill, and a bloody laboat filled with test tubes syringes trinkets and gods-know what looks them directly in the eyes and says "your mum."

Avarice plays the guitar but he won't let anyone hear him play because he's not 100% perfect. He thinks it's a well kept secret. It is not.

Vega owns a pair of weirdly well-crafted wax wings, Icarus style. He won't tell anyone why.

Invidia collects beanie babies.

Saccharine also collected beanie babies. It's an extensive collection by now.

Cyrus wanted to get a card-themed tattoo, probably near the collarbone or on the shoulder. He'd draw them on pretty regularly but he could never decide on an exact design. (Plus, he wanted his first tattoo to be done by Austin.)

Chio wanted a pet rat but he knows that he'd probably end up forgetting about it or getting bored of it, and he didn't want to hurt it.

Avarice can draw pretty well. Mostly just sketching out fashion designs, but he finds himself doodling butterflies sometimes.

Invidia can and DOES draw. Mostly people she finds pretty. And dolls, obviously. It's an overlapping category.

Cyrus can't draw for shit this man has never even SEEN a pencil the only thing he can draw is a treble clef and even that's shaky.

Equitas has been alive for literally millennia and has been bored for most of that time. Of Course he learned how to draw. YES he doodles little wings and bells.

Quiet, seething anger. One of those plastered smiles that lets you know you fucked up. Not moving an inch until the perpetrator is already bleeding and nobody knows how it happened. They're on the floor. Their limbs have stopped moving, still tense in a picture of both fear and anger, and the cause is unclear. Their skin is glass. Until they stop moving altogether, no onlooker dares to move. She raises a glass. Everything continues. Nothing is mentioned again.
