See how carefully he’s wrapping his fingers around her hand so he won’t accidentally hurt her with his claws?

Does Sesshoumaru have to be as careful when holding Inuyasha’s hand? His toxic claws are far more dangerous... and Inuyasha’s hand is just as small in comparison... and the rare times when Sesshoumaru does take his little brother’s hand like that, Inuyasha tries to keep his own still so he won’t accidentally hurt himself with the poison claws... although he can’t help but secretly hope that he does get pricked just a little... because then of course Sesshoumaru will notice his slight wince and the scent of his blood in the air and force them to stop so he can look at his hand... golden eyes will be angry and he’ll most likely get called an idiot for not being more careful... but Sesshoumaru’s attention will all be on him then, and that alone will make it all better

My inucest-tinted shades can’t help but feel like the look of bewilderment and confusion and horror on Inuyasha’s face is because this is the first time he’s been so far away from Sesshomaru all by himself and he doesn’t know what’s what but here, he’s thinking that if his big brother had been around, he would never have allowed the strange lady to touch him like that.

Most of the times, he likes that humans don’t think of him as a monster, that they’re not afraid of him, but sometimes, he can’t help but think that it would be nice to have Sesshoumaru’s vibe of you-peasants-better-not-think-you-can-come-anywhere-near-me, whether it’s with humans, or with youkai royalty, or even a few stray gods.
