i know leonard's pedophilia got toned way the fuck down so his concern for the children/child soldiers etc probably doesn't read as anything in relation to that (fairy goading him is like juuuust parsable? It's really hard to pin down the source of why they make fun of him in regard to that without the knowledge of where the source of their ire is coming from. His pact partner just likes to see him suffer and you the player don't have all the pieces to know why i suppose. I guess you could interpolate some reasoning for it through his brother's deaths and his hatred for himself about that/failed sucide etc.) but like....arioch feels really...?? lacking??? Also feels the most yoko taro written character lol but unless her voice lines are that simple in jp she really doesn't say much. I mean, her shit is also toned way the fuck down too but you do see her eat children on screen so in one of her missions so like, even if no-one is saying it it is there. Maybe i'm just more unfamiliar with what was changed for her.
