#intro blatantly stolen from the show

So I’ve been listening to my friend’s podcast @ladiesofdarkness, and I ended up writing this little... theme song for the party, I guess?

hey since you have screenshots of her version of the fic why don’t you post some side by sides to really show how much she actually plagiarized on watt pad. then all her friends can really see that it wasn’t just taking inspiration from it.

despite the fact that, right off the bat, the name darth fortem is stolen.

“fortem” is the only sith!obi out there.

this name was created by me, for the fic i wrote called bone-picked teeth. you can read it here. originally, like i’ve said a million times, the old fic “struggle against me” by nicky_writes along with chats on a livestream was what prompted me to write sith!obi. for that reason, i created a completely original character to diverge from nicky_writes.

because i didn’t want to plagiarize. 

so, that’s the first bit. even did some research on latin turn of phrases to pin down fortem. worked my ass off to make him interesting and fun and hot and fresh. 

anywho,

here’s my headcanon post about obi/maul, posted in early january. here’s darksabers post about obi’s background on both her wattpad & instagram:

which leads me into the high-ranking senator from corellia bit, which -- you literally need to just read three sentences from my fic, bone-picked teeth, to understand that is my plot-line. here’s a few lines that outline that:

“Obi-wan Kenobi has long since been dead. In his place, Darth Fortem stands. A Sith Lord working in the background during the Clone Wars, he's hired to murder a newly elected Corellian Senator stirring up problems for the syndicates back home.” my literal summary, on AO3.

You bite your tongue, eyes bouncing across his face before you turn away, settling your gaze on the far wall of the refresher. “I was a working girl for one of the syndicate’s Lieutenants back on Corellia for some time.” taking about her background in chapter 6

the other big nasty is this intro to fortem’s character, which she introduces with the line beneath the gif of “DON’T BITE THE HAND THAT IS HEALING YOU, MY LADY”. 

this line is from chapter 6 of my fic:

“You’re not – yet, look at us now.”

You turn, sparing him an icy look over your shoulder.

He raises his tweezers in a light-threat. “Bite the hand that heals. I dare you.”

then, there’s the entire fact that darksabers followed me on tumblr for three months, during which i posted, wrote, and blogging about this topic all the time. i was writing a lot for fortem. 

i sadly do not have a screenshot of our mutual status, but people can attest that they reblogged my content early on in their tumblr. here’s proof of the fact i did reach out and when, as well as what i said -- since i’ve been so “uncivil”.

i hope that helps clear up a lot of the questions her followers/supporters have -- i mean, it’s good i caught this fic when it literally only had an intro posted. thankfully, she hadn’t gone and copied my entire eight chapter fic, just my plot and characters (all very blatantly).
