"'m fine. it's fine."   he asserts, features half-contorted into a grin. the world is practically spinning, a bitter fragrance staining his person. he hadn't touched a bottle in a while, nor had he intended to, yet the incessant need to do so had eventually won out.   "had one drink, maybe two," maybe more. "but who's counting?" where he was previously leaning against the counter, daniel nudges himself up and forward, just a bit, now leaned towards the other, chuckling softly, "hey, hey. guess what? i'm falling for you faster than the price of stocks in 1929."
