So I was flipping through Instagram #intothebadlands and ran into Maddison Jaizani’s (Odessa) account. She has a couple of pics of her as Odessa but also two others that look rather interesting.

 Spoiler cut for obvious reasons.

First, this one looks like it’s the kiss scene. 

Kind of seems like it’s going to be another interesting conversation between Odessa and Tilda. I hope we get this scene sooner rather than later. I’d hate it if it came in, say, episode 9.

I don’t think it will because I think they are going to have Odessa contradict some of what The Widow does and have her voice her displeasure with it directly to Tilda. Therefore, putting doubts into Tilda’s mind about what her Mother is doing. I don’t think Odessa would have that kind of, not control, but influence over Tilda if there isn’t something more between them. Also, I’ve checked out ITB AMC site before, for spoilers of course, but never to read the character bios.

When Season 2 opens, Tilda is back on the Widow's side. She views her mother as a force for good in the Badlands. However, when the Widow's compromises start to overshadow her own original vision, Tilda's faith in the cause will be irrevocably shaken. As the season progresses, Tilda will grow from a wide-eyed child who looms in her mother's shadow to a young woman who has the courage to step out on her own.

Along with the last episode, this bio gets me thinking that Waldo will continue his compromise talk and The Widow will heed his counsel. Odessa will be voicing her displeasure at what is happening and Tilda will start to lose faith in her Mother.

So there’s this other pic. 

Not sure if it’s just the three of them during a break in filming, or just random actors messing around on set; but if it’s from a scene, it’s definitely intriguing. Does it mean Sunny and Bajie group up with The Widow? Or maybe not The Widow but just Tilda and Odessa? Kind of looks like maybe it’s a military set up. Does season two end with a war between the Barons? So many questions…so long until Sunday!
