💛: What is a popular ship you just can't get behind, and why?

Interesting question…I’m kinda open to the popular ships in the fandom? The ones I can think of being PiperxCyclonis and PiperxAerrow. Like they’re cute, so I have no issue.

I don’t know if it’s a popular ship but RavessxAce is one I can’t get behind I guess. Or actually most Ace ships for that matter. I feel like Ace needs a very particular person to date and there just aren’t really any in canon. He needs someone he can respect, someone who matches his level of intelligence and skill.

I feel like Ace wants to be in a power couple, he wants someone who makes him look and feel good because he’s The Dark Ace, he has a reputation to uphold and most people don’t fit that.

I often see people share their headcanons and feel like sharing mine too but all I really have is that Aerrow is asexual lmao. That’s my one contribution.

I actually missed most of season 2 because my family got rid of cable that year, I didn't catch up on it till I got an Ipod touch a little while later lol. I remember being incredibly shocked when Ace died, and also just shocked at the ending in general. It was awesome but I was like "that's it? Ace dies just like that??"

Now I'm writing my own fic where he lives XD

Can any old hawker (like me) remember when the last episode of Storm Hawks aired in 2009 and we all watched Dark Ace blow up on our TV sets and the entire SH fandom went into chaos and denial and DeviantArt lost their sh*t and everyone basically went

New Year’s resolution: post here more. I lurk on the tag periodically and man, i miss it here. I have so many ideas and drawings but it’s hard to find the energy sometimes.

What's that one headcanon you have for your fav character that you never got to share?

Hmmm, a headcanon I haven’t shared…

I guess one that comes to mind is that Aerrow kind of bottles up his emotions until he eventually explodes?

As the leader, Aerrow does his best to look calm and in control of things so his friends don’t have to worry. Sky knights are supposed to have everything figured out, if they falter, what will happen to the team? So he acts like everything’s fine for as long as he can, but even he has his limits.

When he reaches his breaking point, it’s brutal, everything he had been holding in comes gushing out: anger, sadness, fear, it all comes to the surface.

Thankfully these moments don’t happen often and I like to think he tries to work on being more open about his feelings later on, but it’s still a habit of his.

🏹 Fave weapon?

Hooray!

Hmm…now that I think about it, most of the weapons in the show are pretty cool. Like Finn’s crossbow, Cyclonis’s staff, Repton’s boomerang.

Aerrow’s swords have always been really cool to me though. They have a nice silhouette, and can be used for close combat and ranged attacks. I like that they didn’t just give him a single sword like a typical knight, making him stand out more.

So yeah! Aerrow’s weapon is my favorite lol, no surprise there.

Whenever I get frozen yogurt I’m just like “rosen yoga” :O

No matter how long it’s been I will always remember Storm Hawks simply because calling it “The Rosen Yoga” instead of “Frozen Yogurt” is 100% engrained into my vocabulary.

Hrmmmmm unpopular ship…

Is CyclonisxAerrow unpopular? I don’t see it very much so maybe.

It’s literally just my ocxcanon ship but canon lmao. I like the “enemies to lovers” dynamic I guess XD it’s just so fun for me. Realistically I know they’d never get along long enough to even consider dating but that’s what fanfic is for!

23. 💬 - What’s your favourite quote?

Ooooh there’s so many I like lol. This show has such fun dialogue for real. If I gotta pick one, I’d say it’s from season 1 episode 2, where Aerrow’s like “see, that’s where you’re wrong…it’s already over!”

I don’t know why it stuck to me so much when I first watched, but I think the whole scene just helps it stand out. Aerrow and Starling are incapacitated, Finn and Junko are stuck in the Storm Engine, it’s about to go off and Cyclonis thinks she’s won but then Aerrow speaks and the camera cuts to him standing up again, ready to fight.

It’s just a great moment, the hero standing up to the villain against all odds. I think it’s what solidified my love for Aerrow as a character lol.
