well you see william is a man who keeps kicking the dog just to see what it will do and the crying child is a dog and all he knows is he loves the man and doesn’t understand why the kicks keep coming. and michael is a mutt who bites when you try to pet him and tears up your slippers because they carry your scent. and elizabeth is a dog wants to be free to run around but she is chained to a pole. and william is a dog who doesn’t know he’s a dog and only when he’s lured back home by henry who is the real leader of the pack can he finally be put down like the sick animal he is. it’s all very simple you understand
