trying so hard to be nice on the intersex blog even when endosex people send me asks and tell me that they used to identify as a hermaphrodite as a child <3
#personal#like. cmon#h slur#this reminds me of the igm pride flag discourse for some reason. sigh#anyway intersex people are not being rude when we say you have to be intersex to identify as intersex#intersex-support as a blog takes a stance that is supportive of self diagnosis even. like. we are not some exlcusionary group interested#in putting tons of restrictions on peoples experiences#like we actively affirm the right to self identify and understand the ways that medical diagnosis is not the only path towards#understanding#but i am not just going to say "oh if you're not intersex you can call yourself intersex#despite the amount of times we are asked that all the fuckign time!!!
