完成一周 Nicaragua -Cup of excellence 便開始兩周的美國之旅 -首站 -Los Angeles

10/Apr. 從 Managua 到LA 大約要9-10小時（在Huston轉機） RedMeow 住宿的地方位於 Hollywood 從機場出發可以先坐Flyaway Bus 這家巴士公司有好幾個目的地可選 而 Union station是轉不同metro 線的最佳選擇

坐了約半小時（視况堵車程度）便到 下車後便可到車站櫃位付款 注意:櫃位只收信用卡付款($ 10) 下車站住右轉便是Metro Metro的卡是這樣的 坐RedLine到Hollywood highland便到目的地

11/Apr. 休息了一晚後便開始探險四周 首站咖啡店 Verve coffee roaster

Verve coffee roaster在2007起家 現在約有9家店 RedMeow挑了DTLA分店

點了杯Elida natural 及Cocolate croissant 以Kalita wave 沖煮 約300ml 真系飲咖啡飽 喝完咖啡住北走 來到 Bradbury Building 如果大家有看過500 Days of Summer便會知這是何處

而大廈旁亦有一家BlueBottle 可惜剛喝了咖啡暫時未能再喝多杯 繼續往前走便是 Walt Disney Concert Hall

12/Apr. 因要辨理Guatemala Visa的關係 來到sliver lake地區 因為大使館三點鐘便關門 所以中午時候便來到 在櫃位呈交預備好的文件

填一張簡單表格 就可以乖乖坐着等叫名 大約二十分鐘後 職員走來說:因欠缺Flight Itinerary 所以要下周一再來才能申請 （因為接著三日都是假日） 無奈地只好離開 去咖啡店坐坐解愁 在這區附近有間 Intelligentsia 來到的時候正是人山人海

點了杯Ethiopia Kurimi 然後便坐着整理文件

13/Apr. 第四天的行程住西邊走West Hollywood 該區有名而風格不同的兩間咖啡店 Blue bottle 在美國約有28間

近年更進軍日本 簡潔清新的風格 是區來不少人休閒的地點 RedMeow點一杯latte 味道還算可以(沒有傳聞中那麼不行) 喝完後便在區內走了好幾個圈

經典中的經典Peets Coffee

redmeow在剛接觸精品咖啡時 有看過文章提及過這間咖啡店 第二波中的���話 當中 一句評���是:焦而不苦 店舖的故事並不在此花時去說 主要說說這杯 Espresso有夠神奇 如果你能接受到深炒的味道 亦有喝過大部分日式深炒的話 你也許會對這杯喜出望外 對比日式深炒 這杯出來的感覺輕鬆愉快 沒有任何酸味 麥芽的香氣 厚身而順滑囗感 帶著悠長的 烤榛果 餘韻 雖然這種味道並不是每人能接受到 但是說真 以深炒來說這真是很不錯

14/Apr. 這個周五特別早起床 原因是參加了一個由Counter culture 舉行的Tasting at ten

這是一個免費的淺嚐咖啡活動 他們會擺兩款的咖啡豆 給大家試 試完之後一個小討論 整體大約半小時已經完畢 上(Peru)下(Boka -PNG)

剛才的咖啡當然是止不了咖啡癮 吃了午飯後 去附近的Intelligentsia再喝一次先來一杯El Salvador cold brew

接著是 Honduras 單品朱古力 就是這樣簡簡單單 美滿的一天

15/Apr. 不知道是不是昨天比較早起身 所以今天睡得比較晚 起身之後 收到上週Nicaragua Coe 的咖啡評分資料 所以這一天都留了在住宿地方整理文件 靠着麵包和薯條 哈哈

16/Apr. 在網上看到有不少人推介一個叫做Long beach的地方 他們說這個地方有一個美麗的港口 所以好奇的貓當然要去看一看啦 週日– 吃完午餐後便興奮地出發 坐metro的話 從紅色線坐到去7th street再轉成藍色線坐到尾 便可到達終點

但是大家要注意在這裏轉車要小心留意 因為藍色和淺藍色是去不同地方的 坐大約半小時後便到了到了總站 落車後往南方走便可以見到 (ShoreLine Aquatic Park) 在這邊走來走去其實已經可以消耗好幾個小時

17/Apr. 終於等到週一 立即跑去弄 Guatemala Visa 這次真的交齊文件給他們 付款時職員會問你要one entry($25.00),或multiple entries($50.00), 如果你不是要多次��出Guatemala 的話 one entry Visa 便可以了 再等多十分鐘 護照其中一頁便會印有 Guatemala的Visa 弄好後當然要去吃點東西 休閒下啦 在途中遇上可愛的小松鼠

而附近有一間名為Backtop的小店 是用country culture的咖啡豆 和鄰近也有 blue bottle的店 這店前身是handsome coffee (早幾年前被Bluebottle收購)

美國之旅就此行完?
