Cambodia :
Seven-headed Naga King at the entrance of World's largest religious monument, Angkor Wat built by Hindu king Suryavarman II
Tumblr media
This is a huge temple complex located near Siem Reap in Cambodia. It was built by Khmer kings more than a thousand years ago. The complex has a large number of temples. The main temple is the only one that is well preserved. Other temples are in ruins. There is an international effort to restore some of the temples. The temples must have looked majestic when they were built.
A large stones were cut precisely and placed over each other without any bonding material to hold them together. The Khmer kings embraced Hinduism and Buddhism. The carvings are delicate and superbly detailed.

At this point I have to laugh at the people calling the Ram Mandir an ugly building and a waste of financial resources of the government, as if it wasn't made from the voluntary donations given by Ram devotees... as if it wasn't designed in the famous Nagara style of temple architecture.
It's sad that some of these people are plagued with internalized hinduphobia.
Imagine, 20 generations of Hindus had to live with the humiliation of seeing a mosque in the place of their destroyed temple. A 500 yrs long struggle that culminated in the reclamation of the birthplace of an important figure in your religion and history. So many people sacrificed their lives for it.
And you just hate it.
Why? Because it's cool?
Or are you just disinclined to learn your history and respect your civilizational heritage?

Okay, well, maybe some context for non-Indian readers: there's a really famous temple in India which was inaugurated days back, in a city which is said to be the birthplace of a Hindu deity. It was built on the site of a demolished mosque (which was itself built on a Hindu temple centuries ago).
Now, as usual, left-wingers start frothing at the mouth whenever things don't go as they want it to happen, and start screaming about "fascism" and "authoritarianism". There's enough evidence that the mosque was built over a demolished non-Islamic temple, and the case was decided by the Supreme Court.
These don't matter to leftists: similar to how Christians/Republicans are considered fascists in Americans, Hinduism receives kind of the same treatment here sometimes.
Yes, God forbid we build a temple where it's supposed to be. Don't get me wrong: demolishing the mosque was wrong, but considering that it was built over a destroyed temple, well...
Cope and seethe lol. It is absolutely a moment to be celebrated.

The Paras Parivaar Charitable Trust works 365 days a year to lug our Paras Guru’s vision forward. Understanding Child Labor
Child labor is defined as work that deprives children of their youth, potential, and dignity while also impairing their physical and mental development. According to the International employment Organization (ILO), around 168 million children were employed in child employment worldwide in 2014, with the majority working in dangerous conditions. This alarming figure highlights the crucial need for a coordinated worldwide response.
Important Projects and Worldwide Reactions
World Day Against Child Labor: Held on June 12, this annual event aims to raise awareness about the plight of child laborer's. The 2014 theme was “Extend social protection: Combat child labor,” which stressed the role of social protection systems in preventing child labor.
International Labor Organization (ILO) Campaigns: The ILO has continued its efforts with the “Roadmap for Achieving the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labor by 2016.” This campaign emphasizes on the most severe forms of child employment, asking governments to intervene and implement child-protection measures.
National Legislation: Many countries have strengthened their laws prohibiting child labor. For example, India passed the Child employment (Prohibition and Regulation) Amendment Act, which aimed to criminalize child employment in hazardous occupations while regulating working conditions in non-hazardous jobs.
Corporate Responsibility: Businesses began to recognize their role in eradicating child labor. Many businesses developed efforts to prevent child labor in their supply chains, such as monitoring systems and fair trade norms.
The Role of Education
Education has emerged as a critical component in the fight against child labor. In 2014, various NGOs underlined the need of accessible and high-quality education in ending the cycle of poverty, which commonly leads to child labor. Scholarships, Free Food, and school supplies were distributed through initiatives aimed to encourage families to send their children to school instead of working.
Difficulties and Barriers
Despite the progress made in 2014, significant challenges remained. Poverty, a lack of educational options, and cultural norms all led to the prevalence of child work. In many communities where families relied on the income generated by their children, it was difficult to prioritize education over employment.
Conclusion
The fight against child work in 2014 marked a watershed point in global efforts to protect children’s rights. Despite significant progress made through legislation, awareness campaigns, and educational initiatives, the struggle against child labour persists. Governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and the private sector must continue to collaborate to ensure that every child has the opportunity to develop, learn, and thrive without being burdened by labor. The commitment to ending child work remains a moral imperative and a necessary step towards a more just world.

Guide to Kedarnath: A Journey to the Roof of the World
Tumblr media
Kedarnath, in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, is one of the most spiritual places in country India.Kedarnath: Journey to the world roof; this place is attributed to the Hindu god Mahadev, who used to manage the world as per the Holy Books of Sanatan Dharma. You can acknowledge the epitome of spirituality and the place's natural beauty with the Kedarnath tour package from Mumbai.
All the visitors of Kedarnath used to believe that beyond the natural beauty of the snowcapped mountains, they also felt the real presence of the Hindu god Shiva as Mahadev. The unreachable Mountains of Kedarnath covered with snow are a real treat to the visitor's eyes. If you want to know more about the Kedarnath rooftop journey, then be with us till the end of the article to get the details and to identify why you can visit there.
Discovering the sacredness of Kedarnath
Finding out the sacredness of this place, the real reasons behind the spirituality, and the beauty will make your journey to Kedarnath more interesting through Trek Organizers Mumbai. As per the Hindu Puranas, Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.
The 12 jyotirlingas include Somnath, Nageshwar, Bhimashankar, Trimbakeshwar, Vishweshwar, Vaidyanath, Mahakaleshwar, Omkaleshwar, Kashi Vishwanath, Rameshwaram, and Mallikarjuna created when Mahadev was roaming in the world with the burning ashes of Devi Sati.
One of the holiest places in the country, the temple at Kedarnath is considered the most sacred temple in the country. Individuals there used to speak up about their wish to Nandi Bhagwan at the door gate and request him to send it to Mahadev.
Trekking to Kedarnath
The real adventure for the visitors is to reach the temple as they have to trek around 16 km through a paved road of Gaurikund. Natives believe that the ones who can visit the temple on their feet are the real Shiv devotees.
The road to trek start from Gaurikund to Kedarnath via Rambara. One can acknowledge the picturesque sceneries and the natural beauty with the captivating views of valleys, jungles, and waterfalls.
The visitors first reach Sonprayag; they need to take a bus to Gaurikund, which is at a distance of 6 km. Magnificient Himalayan Landscapes
The natural beauty of the snowcapped region with the magnificent Himalayan landscapes is the source of attraction for the site. The picturesque sceneries of the green pastures and the view of the Himalayan ranges are a real treat to the eyes.
Kedarnath falls in the Western Garhwal Himalayan ranges of Uttarakhand. Views of the Swargarohini peaks throughout the journey of the Kedarnath are the most remarkable ones. Snow-captured mountains with a cloudy appearance look like a way to heaven.
People used to believe that a trip to the place was the only source to wash away all their sins and get calm with the views of the Himalayan landscapes.
Pilgrims and Devotees
The spirituality and beauty of the place attract a bundle of national and International tourists every year. The number of pilgrims visiting there increases yearly with a huge gap in the number of visitors.
Last year around 15, 63,275 people visited Kedarnath. Tourism officials have commented that the number of pilgrims visiting will increase in the upcoming years. This is one of the country's most popular and globally renowned pilgrimage centers.
Some devotees also used to believe that it was the power of the great god Lord Shiva who used to attract numerous people every year. The main reason behind the pilgrims increasing number of is their busy schedule, as nowadays most people are trying to get internal peace to calm their minds.
The Mystical aura of Kedarnath
Here comes the most important and mystical part of Kedarnath, the history behind the creation of the twelve jyotirlingas. Hindu Dharma Shastras have mentioned that the Jyotirlingas were created during Devi Sati’s death.
Devi Sati was the daughter of Prajapati Daksh, the carrier of world affairs. After Devi Sati’s marriage to Mahadev, Prajapati Daksh organized a yagya and did not invite Mahadev. Sati visited her father's house to participate when Daksh insulted Mahadev.
Out of anger and to destroy their father's ego, Sati takes a fire bath and burns herself as she cannot save the respect of her beloved Mahadev. Shiva then took the dead body of Devi Sati and started roaming around the entire world by destroying places.
It is when lord Vishnu broke Devi Sati's dead body into pieces, the places where the parts of the body felt the Jyotirlingas created.
Conservation efforts and sustainability
The Kedarnath Musk deer sanctuary, globally known as the Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary declared the topmost wildlife sanctuary under the Wildlife protection act 1972. It is the largest protected area of the Western Himalayas for the endangered species Musk Deer, on which it was named Musk Deer Sanctuary.
Along with the Musk deer, the place is known for the Himalayan Thar, Himalayan Griffon, Himalayan Black bear, Snow leopard, and other fauna.
Untouched Vistas
This area in Uttarakhand, abandoned with several spiritual places and captivating areas, makes it a worthy place to visit. The topmost vistas of the Kedarnath include Vasuki Tal, Kedarnath temple, Kedarnath Mountain, Sonprayag, Deoriatal, Ukhimath, Chopta, Madmaheshwar, Tungnath, and many others.
To have a perfect experience, one should visit the site in September and October as the crowd is less during this time.
All these places, their interesting history, and great natural beauty make Kedarnath one of the famous tourist spots of the country. A visit to this is the only way for someone to get internal peace and calm in the middle of their busy schedule.

THE BASIC ARCHITECTURE OF 'SANATAN DHARM' :
The 3 established ways of 'Sanatan Dharma', the 3 hinges or pillars on which life & existence runs, are: 1. Karma Yoga/way (selfless action in service of others), 2. Gyan Yoga/way (knowledge, in investigation & awareness of, deeper & deeper truth of life) ie meditation, & 3. Prem(Bhakti) Yoga/way (love/quest of divine). The first 2 ways, like parallel roads on progressive path, directly correlated to each other, as greater more efficient selfless service for others needs greater knowledge. The 3rd independent way, holds on to essence of above 2 ways, namely the emotion of 'selfless love' ie 'love of imagined absolute all-knowing all-serving divine/God'. Hence called 'Prem/Divine Desire/Bhakti Yoga/way'. This is the subway or tunnel running below both the above roads, & perhaps the fastest way to God, if done in best most focused way. One can correlate the 3rd way to the process of turning on the switch of an electrical engine! The 1st (karma) way being similar to, manually rotating the levers operating the fan belts on a thermal motion engine, till enough energy momentum generated to sustain it's course of unassisted motion. Ofcourse all 3 ways, reinforce each other, & people in one of the 3 paths, doesn't mean other 2 ways aren't a feature, just one apparently pre-dominant. Ofcourse a 4th kind, along all 3 paths, equally or in less skewed a manner. And hence smartest realize this fundamental truth: The end of all selfless service is knowledge: The end of all knowledge is divine love: & The end of all divine love is liberation. THE DIVINE LINGO, FOR ABOVE SANATAN ARCHITECTURE: In ancient common man's lang, this is 'Architecture of the Trinity'> Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh(Shiva)! Brahma being epitome of Knowledge, Vishnu of Selfless Service, & Shiva of Devotional Love. Brahma thus being 'Creator', epitome of 'Gyan Yoga' (as knowledge expands awareness of spaces & avenues to serve better in. (Most knowledgeable in society also thus referred to as 'Brahman').. Vishnu is 'Sustainer', epitome of 'Karm Yoga' (as selfless benefits recd, equips more & more with the experience & realization & emotion to continue with the benevolent cycle of mutual help, thus sustaining mass progression of life).. & Shiva the Destroyer, epitome of 'Bhakti Yoga'(noteworthy to clarify here, word 'destroyer' only imputes destruction & removal of needless impurities along devotee's path, a supreme act of divine love, not anger or violence as portrayed in few inaccurate TV projections).(Shiva can thus also be called the 'Clarifier'!). And the creator of all these 3 hinges, the 'Parabrahman'! The 2 Gods, thus most prominent in worship, being Vishnu & Shiva, knowledge being the subset & indirect & subliminal & hence less directly focused activity of humans, in general. Vishnu worship being the more ostentatious materialistic activity, Shiva worship being the subtler more internalized & more minimalist form of devotion.

What is the importance of Sanatana Dharma?
What is the importance of Sanatana Dharma?
Sanatana Dharma, in Hinduism, term used to denote the “eternal” or absolute set of duties or religiously ordained practices incumbent upon all Hindus, regardless of class, caste, or sect. Sanatana dharma is contrasted with svadharma, one’s “own duty” or the particular duties enjoined upon an individual according to his or her class or caste and stage of life. Sanatana dharma has thus become a synonym for the “eternal” truth and teachings of Hinduism, the latter conceived of as not only transcendent of history and unchanging but also as indivisible and ultimately nonsectarian.
Tumblr media
What is Sanatana Dharma?
The term is used in Indian languages alongside the more common Hindu Dharma for Hinduism. Master in hindu spiritual care degree Courses Sanatana Dharma can also denote the list of 'eternal' or absolute duties and practices.  Sanatana-dharma – duties performed according to one's spiritual (constitutional) identity as atman (Self) and are thus the same for everyone. General duties include virtues such as honesty, refraining from injuring living beings, purity, goodwill, mercy, patience, forbearance, self-restraint, generosity, and asceticism. According to the notion of sanatana-dharma, the eternal and intrinsic inclination of the living entity (atman) is to perform seva (service). Sanatana-dharma, being transcendental, refers to universal and axiomatic laws that are beyond our temporary belief systems.
History of Sanatana Dharma
The phrase dharma sanatana occurs in classical Sanskrit literature, for example, in the Manusmrti (4-138) and in the Bhagavata Purana. In the late 19th century, the term was revived during the Hindu revivalism movement as a name for Hinduism as a religion in order to avoid having to use the term "Hindu" which is of non-native Persian origin. Today, Sanatana Dharma is associated only with Hinduism. In current-day usage, the term sanatana dharma is diminished and used to emphasize a "traditional” or sanatani ("eternalist") outlook in contrast to the socio-political Hinduism embraced by movements such as the Arya Samaj. Bachelor of human healthcare degree courses
In sharp contrast to the efforts by Lahore Sanatana Dharma Sabha to preserve the Hindu tradition against the onslaught of reform, now it is being stressed that Sanatan Dharma cannot be rigid, it has to be inclusive without excluding the best and totality of knowledge to guide the karmic process, especially as Sanatan has no beginning and no end.
