#BTS #gana el “#International #Artist #Award” en los #Teen #Choice #Awards ¡BTS ahora ha ganado un premio en los Teen Choice Awards! Los Teen Choice Awards se llevaron a cabo la noche del 13 de agosto hora local en el Galen Center en Los Ángeles. BTS fue nominado en la categoría de mejor artista internacional, junto a EXO, MONSTA X y SEVENTEEN, así como también el grupo mexicano CD9 y al grupo latinoamericano CNCO. La votación comenzó por Twitter el 13 de agosto al mediodía EST y se cerró a las 6 pm EST. ¡Durante el evento, se anunció que BTS fue el ganador del premio! BTS es ahora el segundo artista de K-pop en ganar el premio al Mejor Artista Internacional en los Teen Choice Awards seguido de Super Junior en el 2015. En el mes de mayo, BTS también se llevó a casa el premio al Top Social Artist (mejor artista en las redes sociales) en los Billboard Music Awards. El grupo actualmente está preparándose para un regreso en septiembre y también ha estado revelando pistas sobre la historia de su nueva serie “Love Yourself”. Ellos han compartido unas primeras maravillosas imágenes de afiches individuales, así como también un segundo grupo de fotos con más pistas sobre el trama. ¡Felicidades a BTS!

El festival internacional de la cancion de Viña del Mar (Viña del Mar international song festival) is the most important and one of the longest running music festivals in south america. It takes place on the 3rd week of February and lasts around a week. Despite being marketed as a music festival not only musicians perform there: comedians also take the stage, along with dancing acts and magic performances (both which usually take place at the beginning of the shows). Not only that, but during the festival two competitions take place: an international contest (where artists from other countries go and sing self made songs of any genre [like a chill version of eurovision minus the dramatic voting]) and a folk contest (pretty self explanatory but only south a can participate). And speaking about contests: during the festival the associated press gets to choose the queen and the king* of the festival (*= most times there aren’t many candidates for king so they tend to pick only a queen) for which the candidates (who can be pretty much anyone related to the festival, ranging from artists, judges, journalists, local celebrities, actors etc) must do a campaign to earn votes. The winners get a shitload of cash on jewelry (which USUALLY they donate for charity except for some soulless cunts who keep em) and on top of that they have to keep the good old tradition of El Piscinazo which is basically jumping on a pool in front of the associated press where you can do and wear whatever the hell you feel like doing/wearing.

H O W E V E R the most stupid particular dynamic of this festival is that the audience is called El Monstruo (the monster) whose reactions to the performances can be for the best……or for the worst, because if the performance meets the audiences’ expectations then performers will receive a range of awards: the more they receive, the more the audience approved the show; B u t if the audience isn’t happy with the performance they’ll boo the hell out of the performer which automatically means their show will be cut short asap (as in, the hosts will let the performer finish the song/act they’re doing and let them do a couple more songs/jokes or sth unless the show is really really bad which has happened but again I hate this stupid ass dynamic).

All that being said……….you’re telling me that Super mf Junior will most likely participate in that festival???
