last but not least the tma s4 thoughts!!!
cannot believe i have listened to 160 episodes of a podcast. what in the fuck
FIRST! peter lukas is the one of the most absurdly funny characters i have ever encountered, perhaps managing to beat s1!jon. tma really is a comedy podcast.
on the characters and ships side of things............ much to process. much to consider. i will be taking 5-7 working days
the loneliness, the deceit, the distrust, the interlinkedness of  responses and consequences to actions and the making of decisions?? delicious.
the lonely. MUCH to think about.
the extinction as a Comment for me personally is a little tired, despite (or maybe because!) how valid/current it is & how well i think it’s articulated in the canon.
However! the creation of a Fear as a result of this growing fear of extinction that living things have and the entire explanation wrt that? very fresh and cool!
gertrude ‘a lesbian’ robinson
now know why elias is. like that. so question becomes mr jonah why are you. like that. :/
apocalypse time >:)

It’s been a long time since I dove into the Wikipedia rabbit hole of interlinkedness, but, hey, here is a gem I should like to share, on the page of a widespread Christian heresy in the High Middle Ages (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bogomilism), I give you the proud etymology of the excellent word ‘bugger’:
A French and consequently an English word emerged based on twisted perceptions of the Bogomils by the Catholic Church. The words "bouguer" and "buggery" emerged, by way of the word "bougre" in French, from the Latin Bulgarus (Bulgarian). "Buggery" first appears in English in 1330 with the sense "abominable heresy", though "bugger" in a sexual sense is not recorded until 1555.[33] The Oxford Dictionary of English Etymology quotes a similar form—"bowgard" (and "bouguer"), but claims that the Bulgarians were heretics "as belonging to the Greek Church, sp. Albigensian". Webster's Third New International Dictionary, gives the only meaning of the word "bugger" as sodomite, "from the adherence of the Bulgarians to the Eastern Church considered heretical"..[34]

What is environmental sustainability and why is it important?
Tumblr media
Environmental sustainability is a topic that everyone seems to be talking about… from building eco homes and conscious communities to adopting sustainable food, renewable energy in our lifestyle.
Maybe turning to low impact furniture and clothing, but what does the term ‘ environmental sustainability’ really mean?
There are many definitions that are used but the concept was coined in the 1987 report “Our Common Future”.
They recognised the link inequality, poverty and environmental degradation and the way out to this environmental crisis would be to eradicate these issues.
The various definitions of environmental sustainability leads to more queries about the incredible role we have to play.
As a species whose constantly evolving, this definition pertains to change the way we live… how should we change the way we live and conduct business on this planet to ensure?
What many of us can do is change our living conditions in the form of eco-village, sustainability. Revaluating the work done (permaculture, green building, sustainable agriculture).
Developing new technologies (green technologies, renewable energy).
Why do we need sustainable practices?
While the issue of environmental degradation and biodiversity has long been recognised, the individual responsibility that the issue at hand demands is not lived up to.  There has to be an inbred understanding about ‘the interlinkedness’ of our actions… how we as a community share the responsibility for our collective actions. The air we breathe, the water we drink, the land we live on don’t recognise national lines- so it is up to each and every individual to take care.
There are many initiatives that one person can partake in- large, small, national and global- we can always take part in it. Looking after environmental health is crucial to making sure that our future generations have access to clean, green, healthy lives.
Many projects are underway, which range from cleaning up the beaches to awareness programs for kids belonging to lower strata.
You can also take up or initiate our personal projects something that you as an individual are passionate about. Involve other household members with you as well.
