BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION ⇨

Omar grew up in a very traditional Muslim family, following and adhering to each of his parents' rules and belief systems. Always having taken a bit of a backseat to his sister Nadia, he did his best to uphold his family- to keep them happy and most of all, fed. While Nadia attended Las Dalton Encinas on scholarship first, he remained at the community college, taking only one or two courses at a time to ensure he had the time to continue working at his family's small grocery store. In the past, he has also dealt drugs in an attempt to help make ends meet. Through his sister's interactions at Las Dalton Encinas, as well as with the help of a few outside sources, Omar began to make his own connections at the wealthy, elite school. Having lived his life as a closeted homosexual, Omar met and fell in love with his long-time boyfriend Ander, and the two went through more together than any young couple should have had to. Eventually, after a few years, Omar was able to score himself a scholarship to Las Dalton Encinas. With his new world seemed to come a new Omar. He moved out of his parents' house and in with his boyfriend, began working at a club in town, and began living authentically as he explored himself and his interests for the first time.

However, with this freedom came struggle, turmoil, and turbulence, none of which Omar foresaw. And, at the end of it all, following relationship-changing explorations and introductions involving faces seen in the halls of Las Dalton Encinas, Omar found himself single and re-evaluating everything he'd thought his life would turn into while finding his own freedom. Now, Omar has returned to school to prove himself, and to experience everything else his life has to offer. Though he is still living separately from his family, in a small shared apartment with his good friend Samuel, he has returned to work at his family's grocery store after realizing how hard they were struggling following his father's latest health scare. Omar is thoughtful and caring, though he is sometimes unsure of himself and where he is going in life.

I wanted to leave things as specifically vague as possible, given the events of the most recent season and where things are starting in this timeline. I'd like to say that everything that canonically happened between Ander/Omar/Patrick is still in play and has happened, but I'm leaving Ander and Omar broken up at this point to allow for more exploration should anyone want to bring Ander and further explore their relationship. However, I am open to exploring literally anything.

Since Omar has been around in so many places and used to be a dealer, I welcome established and assumed connections, just let me know where he might know your character from if it isn't obvious (i.e. if your character is a Glee character, maybe they met at the Shanaa market, maybe Omar used to deal to them, maybe they just know him from one of the schools or because of his sister)

"It is a lot more humid here than I'm used to but I don't mind the heat too much," Nadia replied, "But here in America, you are big on air conditioning, no? Surely, the easiest solution would be to stay inside as much as possible, right?"

“I am definitely not ready for summer.” Bones was definitely more of an autumn guy. He wasn’t overly fond of the heat and being too hot. He got even more grumpy when he was uncomfortable and if he could avoid it then he would prefer it. He was glad that the hospital did have air conditioning on. “It just gets so hot and muggy here.”

“Lu?” Nadia grinned. Seeing her best friend made her both happy and a bit confused. Not that long ago, she had said goodbye to her in New York so she could move to DC for her internship. She figured that if Lu was coming here too, she would have said something, “¿Que haces aqui? ¿Por qué no me dijiste que te mudarías a DC también?” she asked as she moved to hug her.

Translation : What are you doing here? Why didn’t you tell me you were moving to DC too?

Nadia had only been in Washington for a few weeks. The paid internship had been too good of an opportunity to turn down. She was really thriving in America and this was just another step in the right direction for her. Nadia was happy to have arrived when a winter market was on, she liked the atmosphere it brought. She wasn’t sure what she was expecting from this city but she knew it wasn’t seeing someone she never thought she’d see again, “Marina?!” Nadia looked at her, wide-eyed, trying to figure out if she was seeing things, “How are you-? What is-? Is that really... you?”

When she asked for the cheese, she laughed, "Of course," she said, handing it over, "I'm making a cheese plate, I have plenty of options but I am curious, why is this cheese so important to you?" she asked.

"We truly don't know what anyone is capable of until they are put into that situation," Nadia replied. She thought about the murders that had happened in their and who they had suspected and the true culprit. It was always a surprise, "I do not know this principal though so I cannot comment on it."

"A picnic?" Nadia repeated, smiling at the memory of their picnic when she visited for her sister's wedding. She could not help but blush at his compliment, "I suppose I don't need to change for that. Let's go to the store then."

he was relieved she seemed to take it good, everything he told. or she was only good at hiding it. many he knew were good at hiding their true emotions about things. he could sometimes. ❝ yep, i think it is. glad it's all over. that part of our life. now can we live however we want ❞ without anyone telling you what to do ❝ i don't know? who knows. who else would. i got no clue how many enemies he managed to get when i moved away. can have been anyone ❞ guzman shrugged. honestly, he did not believe is own words. he could not see anyone else doing it. accident, maybe, but that was no excuse. everyone had them.

Nadia was startled by what seemed to be a jab at her, "I am sorry. It was not meant to be advice. I was just being... bitter about things," she explained, pausing to find the right word in English.

"Me? No. Is there a particular reason you think it would be me? I know how to write and I don't take any lessons. Why would you think that?" she tried not to sound offended but she was a little bit.

“Excuse me” the mutant said hearing a noise and stepping closer towards the other and gave them a small smile. “Are you the one that asked my help in writing lessons or did I just asked the wrong person?”.

"Well I am sorry to have played a part in shooting down your idea, I just don't think it is something I can help with," Nadia explained, "I'm afraid horror is not my favourite movie type. I don't think I would have any ideas. Besides, should an original idea not come from you?"

"I know it seems like an unusual request and it was a long shot but I can't seem to find it anywhere so thought I'd try here. And before you think I'm weird, I promise I'm not. I'm a film studies student and I need it for a project. But I think it might be best to go with something else." Randy always wanted to be on top with projects like these but he also realized that his ideas might not always be the smartest so maybe he had to rethink his whole idea. "Maybe you can help me with something. Since I just threw my previous idea out the window, I'm in need of a good idea for an original horror movie. Something that has never been done before."

"Yes," Nadia said, "Though I suppose that was club dancing, this is a bit different," she replied. They were just hanging out with music in the background and she was being spur of the moment, "Come on, you can't be that bad," she stood up and held out her hand to him.

"I know, I know," Nadia said, nodding, "Perhaps being away from that school will make it easier. No more private high school drama," she replied with a light laugh. They both knew their school life was far more than school drama but the point still stood, "Wait, you think the principal killed Samu?" she asked, shocked at the suggestion.

"Today?" Nadia repeated, "Okay, sure. Do I get to know what we're doing? I might have to go home and change."

❝ nadia, listen, it's in the past now, i don't care about any of that anymore. i have moved on from everything that happened after you left ❞ of course, they were going to start to date other people, right? it's how life is. guzman looked down, only a brief second, looked up at nadia again with a smile ❝ yep. bad excuse, but it helped? for a while. until i heard of the bad news what happened to samu. it's been said to be an accident, i doubt it. if you had met the new principal you would have understood he only cares about himself and his children ❞ without a doubt a bad excuse with the lonely part. why did he say those words. some things can you keep quiet about. he can't lie to her ❝ today, if you have time? i have nothing to do today other than to study to a math test tomorrow, but doesn't matter if i fail on it ❞
